Glad that Tron is up and running! The future isn't so bright, but there's so many other products out there to be had so I guess we'll have to concentrate on those..

But the support community will be around for a very long time long after the OEMs are gone … just like the community for the original Arcade Games.
There will always be solutions if you’re willing to reinvest just like with cars …

Honestly I bought my A1Ups with the intention of eventually putting mini PCs in them. Doing so gets me better emulation and with MAME's HLSL support I also get much improved CRT effects, which I like.
While I hope that Aracde1Up isn't dead and somehow continues to make better cabs that we all want, the reality is that I'll keep my 12 cabs going one way or another. Even if they're literally shells of their former selves.

Those were interesting points. I just started getting into the home arcade scene with the X-Men ‘97 Arcade1up. It’s starting to feel redundant since a console MvC collection was just announced, but I think it’s still nice to have as something decorative. In the long run if something in the cab breaks, I might enjoy modding it to replace whatever breaks.
@@Retrorator that is the way to go. Just be prepared to mod if 1up is gone.
Worst I’ve experienced was getting an MvC2 PCBA, it took months.
I’ve had major issues with Tron control panel, evenetually they had to send me a complete control panelc (which they charged me for) - after two spinners broke. Joystick never had any issues, though 😂
If it gets to the point where you can’t replace a part, go mini PC emulation ;)

Thank you so much for watching!! It is too cool! It’s one of my favorites too. I have back up parts ready to go if something happens to the flight stick or anything, but the PCB can’t do much about. Like you said just upgrading to a mini PC is a great option. I actually considered it till 1up told me they could have a PCB to me within a week or two. Next time I may not be so lucky. Thanks again!

My new Big Buck Hunter Deluxe crapped out after about 2 months. Luckily still under warranty and didn’t have to pay for the reflash. If this happens again I’ll probably do a PC conversion to it.

You really need to turn that PCB around and put some velcro on the backside of the metal case so that airflow gets to PCB. I did this to all of my cabs after T2 and Star Wars PCB’s died. Overheating from the monitor is what fries them.

I need to start saying that 😂🤣 I think I may have already shot this before the upgrade on the name.
They don't make then like they used to. Many of the originals are still working 45 years later. Seems these only last 45 days lol.
