Hey Phil! Glad you are happy with the Raiders print. Best way to get the glue residue off the marquee is with some lighter fluid it neutralizes the adhesive . I had the same issue with Tron. Szabos always makes it better!

I use those LED strips on the back side of my 1Ups. I don't turn them on often but it gives a nice glow on the wall behind them with the color of choice that suits your game cabinet. Only problem is one remote can change the colors on all the strips at once if they all get the signal. (Or if the power goes out and having to reset them. Same issue.) They must have made a slight change as the one for my Ridge Racer cabinet isn't effected but the remote for it looks the same. Somebody else put like little feet on the bottoms of the risers to raise them up and put the strips running around the bottom to give each machine a colorful glow on the floor for each game.
I wondered if one remote would work for all of them, I’ve been labeling them so I know which cabinets they go to :)

Heads up on the strips lights going to time crisis. There’s a panel where you would drill the coin door lights. I drilled a hole under the panel to feed the lights through and stick the strip light directly to the coin door. I didn’t want to drill through the panel structure

I think the only selling point for arcade1up’s is if you’re really into the cabs and it replicates accurately but for me it’s also the online multiplayer to play with the community.

I love it Mikey :) Kellie is a good sport the stuff she deals with lol Mr West got his hot dog and some of my burger the music was too loud where we sat I kept it short. It is my pleasure to find something I’d really like to have and send it to someone I can’t keep everything at least I bought something that someone else can enjoy and maybe brings them back to their youth. Yeah, those 1up lit marquees, the graphic on them is just cheap paper, not vinyl like the ones you can buy from third party sites. I think the 3rd party Turtles in Time vinyl marquees look better than the stock one, the stock one is too dark in the background, and the 3rd party ones have the Konami logo like the arcade. The 1up just says Viacom, and Konami Digital Entertainment and Konami Amusement but at least there's no Nickelodeon logo on the stock marquee sticker.
The Nickelodeon logo needs to stay off our 1ups :) we don’t need to see that! We think alike Rob 👊

I’m not sure Portillo’s was the best Chicago Dog I had on my trip, but it was pretty good. The unique combination of tomato, pickle, peppers, and the signature Chicago neon green relish is something you just have to try-maybe not to everyone’s taste, but I love them.
I’ve had their chili dog it’s the best, have to try Chicago dog next.
Ok, BBH has been on my list for a long time. Been thinking about that Kohl's deal. Will ponder today. That's also a terrific deal on Dig Dug. Beautiful cabinet. Only thing is that monitor....it bugged the heck out of me. I just saw that Raiders artwork at my Hobby Lobby in West Bend lol. Marquee looks amazing. Joe definitely does awesome work. I have a couple coming myself.

Blitz $599🤣😭 I paid $199 at Ollie's. I would pass on that Dig Dug it's got that TN monitor. By the time you change the marquee and the monitor, that $299 just went to $600.😃 Raiders of the Lost Ark picture looks awesome. I have the movie poster version from the 80s. Love your videos.👍 Retro530 does marquee replacement, no need to peel.
Yes those light box replacements, I might switch it up with X-men :) I like Dig Dug art, probably 500-600 to fix everything but it’s a look in the arcade. I wonder if we ever see this cab again.
@PDX7 I bought my Tron and Ridge Racer marquee from Retro530. I really want a deluxe centipedes with a vertical BOE monitor. Dig Dug version would be great as well. I have the centipedes partycade with Glenn's trackball and Arcade Game Factory light up marquee to hold me for now.
@sony4k270 if I get Tron maybe Retro530 too, I saw Tempest is magically available again. With optimism on what could or will happen we might buy cabs we didn’t have interest in earlier.

Ok wow, now I know what I am in for when mind comes in. Hopefully soon. When I did the method I told you about, I started from right to left but then again, each marquee is probably different. X-Men was the first marquee I switched out. After that I figured the method I used when I did Golden Axe & Simpsons. Simpsons I did it with no residue left
Thank you for the tip Doug, some are just different for some reason. If I would’ve started from the right it might have peeled better.
@@PDX7 who knows. When mine comes in hopefully soon for my Turtles in Time cab I will let you know how it goes, and obviously if it is because each cab is different, then we know for sure.

What’s your take on A1UP’s creating fake FOMO?…Golden Axe was “out of stock” everywhere, now I suddenly see them online at Wayfair, Home Depot etc.
Phil and I said Golden Axe would be relisted 😊 like any seller listing e-commerce needs to be redone quarterly or whatever timeframe

Sorry you ran into trouble with that marquee. I think I'll have to switch the X-men one, it's too washed out for me. But at least now I know what can possibly happen.
I’m hearing WD40 will help clean the remainder up. It’s too bad we probably won’t beable to salvage the old marquee when we remove it.

My SF2 legacy looks like it has a paper marquee, I’m scared to try as it’s liveable as is….
If it gives you trouble I’ve seen WD40 would remove leftover paper on marquee along with lighter fluid.
Got heat the sh!t outta those paper "marquees" Literally hot to the touch and continue heating as you peel. Usually i advise against purchases but honestly BBH is a winner. Screen size only gripe. But it still gets play and we've had the og one for a few years. Axel needs oxygen btw. Ha I put him by my SOR game collection. In a grand upper flame pose.

Yo Phil! I got the marquee for X-men from Szabo’s. You gotta get it! I honestly think that it is the best one that I have. I really recommend it. I had a hard time getting the sticker off that one, like your Turtles, but it was worth it. Please drop me a line if you want to play!

Is Szabo’s pretty behind on orders? I remember when I ordered a topper from him a few years ago, it took about 3 weeks to arrive. I’m closing in on 2 full months and he hasn’t replied to my emails 🙁
It took me 8 weeks to get 2 marquees and 2 toppers, hopefully he ships early next week or at least gets back to you.

Arcade1up is so OVERPRICED!!! Those things shouldn't be over 299.00. They are so cheaply made.
And there’s things we need to do to them yet so paying too much adds up :)
