  • My personal favorite moment in the film with my favorite character from the movie.彼は見逃されるだろう.
So, I decided to mix these two tracks together (I admit that I also extended some parts of it) to create a much more emotional track. I think it turned out pretty well! Let me know in the comments!
As usual, hope you guys enjoy the video!

For anyone new to the channel or is interested in the Halo lore before they get their hands on Infinite, I made a full Halo cinematic retrospective series that covers the major events and characters that eventually lead to Halo Infinite. It was really a lot of hard work and I would like more people to check it out! I'll leave a link here for anyone interested: th-cam.com/play/PLUa1TbIRNJ6j5FdnLkProJBUJO4dM8_D3.html

This may sound cheesy but, I also would say that this scene gave the fandom that symbolic connection to Godzilla. Serizawa from this movie can be looked at as the link between Godzilla and us, a symbolic thank you from those such as myself whose lives have been greatly influenced by the franchise. For me at least, Serizawa touching Godzilla filled a void i didn’t really know i had. Its like the old saying about meeting your heros. Except this hero has never dissapointed. Long live the King.

This scene alone shows why Serizawa had so much faith in Godzilla. Everyone else wanted him dead, even the Admiral, whom Serizawa told numerous times to let Godzilla bring balance. Serizawa was close to losing his career; hiding the existence of the Titans, including Godzilla, was told to find and kill said Titans, but chose not to, as he knew some might not be a threat to humanity.

And Godzilla will fight extra harder and secure his place as the key to coexistence.. he'll do it for the human that never lost faith in him. He'll do it for Serizawa. After all the times, they tried to kill him, he never shows hate nor anger towards humanity.. just confusion and pause. He wants coexistence but humanity makes it difficult. Serizawa shows him that humanity is worth protecting and fighting for. For an old friend, he'll damn sure he'll preserve balance.

Ah the duality of Man and beast, represented in both the original incarnation as well as the modern one.
One Serizawa sacrificed himself to prevent an apocalypse scenario, destroyed his notes and his life's work to stop a monster that man in a way created. Meanwhile the other Serizawa sacrificed himself so as to prevent a different form of apocalypse in occuring, this time to ensure that a creature of nature's design fulfills his duty in protecting the planet. He does this while also ensuring his notes can be studied by mankind. In a way, Daisuke dethroned a monster before it could stand as king of ashes, while Ishiro quiet arguably emulated what the civilization that built Godzilla's temple and swore fealty to a king of Titans in his final moments.

    Critics: “no human drama”
Serizawa literally gave his life to give Godzilla the strength he needed to defeat the world’s enemy: King Ghidorah. Before that he walked up to a broken Godzilla, and placed his hand on godzilla’s nose and the king’s gaze of rage turned to a gaze of empathy. Probably the only human that has touched him when others have tried to kill him and he learned that humans aren’t all out to kill him. When Serizawa touched him for the first and last time, Godzilla, instead of defying his presence and murdering him outright, he lets him, his breaths were gentle and soft, as if comforting Serizawa in his final moments, telling the man that everything will be alright, and he is on the side of good no matter what.

This scene was one of the best moments I have seen in a Godzilla movie, It was so powerful and sad because Serizawa sacrificed himself for the better of humanity, he had defended these creatures by saying and proving these are not monsters but that they are animals looking to reclaim a world that was once theirs, and that their return was because of us, he died so Godzilla could have a fighting chance against Ghidorah, he sacrificed himself for Godzilla to fight back and reclaim his throne as king, I have never cried in a movie until this scene, this movie deserves better than all the hate it has gotten because I loved everything about this movie as a fan it was 10 times greater, I expected amazing and to me this movie was a masterpiece, I loved all the references from past movies they pulled and how much mike had fun making this movie, this is a love letter to fans and I personally think Mike succeeded in what he was out to do give the fans something they waited for, while Yes it does need its box office numbers this movie was made by a Godzilla fan for Godzilla fans, he did not care what the critics or anyone else said all he wanted was to make sure the fans received a love letter, rest in peace Serizawa, and thank you Michael Dougherty for giving us a masterpiece in my opinion of a Godzilla movie.

She would be a protecter of Earth. The way I see her soul being part of Biollante is because Ghidorah might have her DNA after he ate her. Personally, when people say Serizawa seemed a bit too ready to sacrifice himself to revive Godzilla, I think he might've been that way because of Vivienne Graham's death in Antarctica, since she was like a daughter to him (to the point that, according to the novelisation, he passed an heirloom necklace on to her on her birthday instead of giving it to his actual son, since he felt she and him had a closer connection).

I personally think that Serizawa is a representative of the Japanese soldiers who gave their lives in the second world war as both sacrificed themselves to keep their world save from the monster that was posing as a threat to kill their kind
