@@sonicsucks20 He's the King of the Monsters and She's the Queen of the Monsters. It's a symbiotic relationship though, not a romantic one. They see each other as equals.
Her larvae form was completely adorable and just like what I've heard in another video and what I already know is that whether it's as a larvae or a moth because of her nature she's will attack if necessary but she's NOT a killer. Her larvae form is beyond beautiful and sweet, but her complete moth form always has been, still is and always will be my most favorite way to see her. As bright as the sun, as gorgeous as the hope diamond, as lovely as a dream of Heaven, Mothra couldn't have turned out any better than she did in this movie. Not that she wasn't something to be wrecking with and fabulous in her old movies which believe me she was and so much more, it's all unbelievable and undeniable proof but everything of her in this movie is what even I call next level stuff. I honestly don't have a favorite part of her in this movie because I love them all too much, same thing with Godzilla too. Moths are attracted to man made light. The whole world is attracted to Mothra's entire gleam. She's Gorgeous, elegant, powerful, captivating. When she was a larva, my reaction was "awww she's adorable". When she came out of the waterfall: MY GOD IS SHE JUST BEAUTIFUL!
The only human character that I liked was serizawa reviving Godzilla which is fascinating as back in OG 1954 Godzilla serizawa sacrificed himself to kill Godzilla. That family should not even have kids as they forgot their daughter WHILE GHIDORA WAS MAKING THE LIGHT SHOW!!!

this music is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful soundtracks ever written in the history of cinema. On the other hand, it accompanies one of the most beautiful scenes ever seen on the big screen, when Mothra spreads its wings under the waterfall. It is poetry.
I love the older tune of Mothras song with the twist of just a more ancient Japanese style of music but also it has that tone that makes her feel so elegant and regal it’s a true work of art
Most people asking just why Mothra Used her God rays in the sky. Let me tell you what she did. those storms were not actually ordinary storm they were caused by Ghidorah's presence. She used her power to remove Them.
Rodans theme:intense and scary Ghidrorah theme:scary Godzilla theme:shows that he's a part of nature Mothra theme:shows how she's elegant and beautiful
@@guyname8760 That was the point. Mothra in this verse is known to glow in pure light that if she so desired could go bright enough to blind and potentially kill. Thus giving her a angelic form. You do see her at various times and the movie wanted to make her seem unearthly and angelic a goddess.
I love how you can clearly hear Yuji Koseki's original theme in this version And the same goes for Akira Ifukube's Original Godzilla theme being present in his new one. Unlike 1998 Godzilla that held no reference to the originals, these movies revere the original Toho movies, and respect them the way they deserved. Legendary knew who the real masters were, and they didn't let us forget

The King and his Queen are reunited, and after battling the Three-Headed Devil, their crowns are finally reclaimed after millennia of dormancy. And now another battle for the crown is on the horizon. The young Prince of Skull Island stands firm, unyielding against the King's commands. Despite the Queen's desire for peace, the King will not allow this rebellion to stand. God I'm so hyped for Godzilla vs Kong.

@TheBuragi ... i don't know where you got that from but their names are from right to left, Ichi, Ni, & San, this is confirmed by the directors, they posted that info in twitter if i remember correctly
If they do a solo Mothra Movie, I want Bear McCreary to do the music. His themes throughout this movie, including Mothra’s theme was the best part of the movie. And this is the same guy who gave us the music for the Walking Dead.
*The angel from above, elegant and divine.* *A work of art: her wings would so beautifuly shine.* *with such a piercing light, she was a goddess, and she wouldn't fright.* *Mothra queen of the monsters, and protector of all. She was the divine moth who would never fall.* *For she was rebirth in the flesh. A being that would always escape death.*
Ghidorah theme: the vocals are literally praying to keep the demon away Rodan theme: chaos personified Godzilla theme: royal and triumphant Mothra theme: absolutely beautiful
This music genuinely brought tears to my eyes wjile I watched the movie, and Mothra was so stunning and beautiful... Every scene she appeared in was the height of the Movie...
When Mothra showed up with her god rays, I cried instantly in joy. That was the most epic abd touching seen for me. She is the light that shines when things seems bleak.
@person person nah it's literally just her reincarnating she never dies, her body basically gets destroyed and her consiousness goes into one of the eggs to be hatched again retaining everything.
Can you imagine how it would be like? Rodan's movie will be like the Token Evil Teammate of Godzilla cast who casually flew down and wreck a city, chuckling evilly with that evil "oops, my bad". I don't know how this will end well. Montra would have just reborn just to stop Rodan from wrecking havoc like a mother to a naughty child lol
@@jurassickaiju14 It would probably be like a prequel from before the events of KOTM, like how KOTM was like Godzilla vs Ghidorah. JurassicKaiju14 I think Rodan will be the typical “monster attacks city” story, with the humans trying to stop him. It’s been established that he likes to pick fights and feed, so that’ll most likely be the case for the conflict in his movie.

A Queen urging her King to fight on, for he isn't fighting alone anymore. The light and sound, she's heavenly and mighty. All hail the Queen of the Monsters!

The critics reviews mean nothing in this scenario, what matters is that fans new and old alike loved the movie! I’m very exited for the future of the Godzilla franchise! And I’m proud to call myself a fan of Godzilla!
What’s hilarious from the critics is that they were saying that great special effects don’t make up a good movie. But there is a major problem with that argument: this is a Godzilla movie, the effects are what makes Godzilla movies great. You’d think that men in rubber suits made great monsters? (excluding the cheese from those movies)
@Aaden Williams Godzilla 2014: Too many humans, not enough monsters Godzilla King Of The Monsters 2019: Too many monsters, not enough humans. See the braindead logic they have?
This version perfectly encarnates the spirit of Mothra .A completely benevolent and merciful being , sent to selflessly do battle against all manner of Evils for Good (And even turning them towards Good) and to defend those who are weaker than her , even when undeserving , showcasing the true glory of power .The only glory and purpose in power resides in service and sacrifice to the Powerless . Best Monster Waifu .I love her so much .God save the Queen of the Monsters .Hail , you giant , benevolent and so fluffy Moth .
You know that Godzilla is/was Part of the Marvel Universe. There is a whole series of comics where Godzilla fights against the Avengers. To sum it up, the Avengers didn't win, Godzilla got bored and left the fighting at the end of the series.
You can tell that there is a sort of connection between Mothra and the big G, as in Mothra, one of three to refuse Ghidorahs call, including herself, Gojira, and Kong. Mothra the only of the Kaijus to help Godzilla Mothra the only Kaiju that was willing to sacrifice herself for the Big G Man Mothra, the ONLY TRUE QUEEN Edit: Oh yeah, due note that this doesn’t mean I boat them. That wouldn’t make sense as they are completely separate species of Titans. And the fact that Mothra is immortal while Gojira can actually die. Plus, he’s “killed” her multiple times
Not to mention mothra has patterns on her wings that resemble eyes (sort of like those moths that have patterns that resemble the eyes/face of an owl), and those eye patterns look a lot like godzilla's eyes.
It takes truly special skill to portray a goddess creature in a purely sci-fi setting, and still retain all of her majesty and glory. That's one of the things that made this movie so magical. Took some of what the Zilla film was trying to do (portray kaiju in a naturalistic, biological way), but unlike that film, managed to retain their majesty and divine-like nature. And just a little bit of old-fashioned cheese in there for good measure. Not a lot, they're serious films, but there's just the right dose to work as a callback to how the classics of the genre were.
When Mothra first appeared in her last form, and then went to call Godzilla. These two scenes are so gorgeous that you feel like she's a goddess. I cried a little lol.
No music. No music has made me this emotional. I remember watching godzilla vs mothra with my mom when i was around 5. We both loved the original music. But when we heard it for the first time in theatres i couldnt help but shed a tear. Long live the queen.
When my daughter was just a wee lass, she used to LOVE Mothra (I even got her a Mothra & Goji Action Figures, which she played with all the time along with her Barbies and Disney Princesses, 'Uncle Bob' & T-1000-it was an odd amalgam but I digress); we watched all the movies with her in it, INCLUDING the 'Rebirth of Mothra' Trilogy--We sang the 'Mosura Ya' song so MANY times...here we are around 8 years later and she's a teenager, and when that music began to play, we both immediately recognized it--and we were smiling as brightly as the folks in the film.
K-POP Lovers you know when she was about to sacrifice her self? Before she was about to attack king gadoriah. Her wings glowed and for she doesn't forget Godzilla and comes back as a larva that still remember's Godzilla
Yep it was majestic, the only problem with kotm is that it made goji and mousara/mothra friends which I'm ok with, except it created a shit ton of shippers
Mothra in the japanese movies is honestly just as impactful as Legendary's version. She's always a protector of humanity. In the japanese movies if you see any though, she normally has two fairies that act as spokespeople on her behalf. They did hide them in this movie but as humans. Ilene and her sister Ling are supposed to be Mothra's shobijin (Thats what theyre called)
This song is like Mothra, it rings of strength, courage, and passion at its height to defend those who cannot defend themselves, but thing it has the tones of claim, peace, and faithfulness that comes when one is at easy in making the ultimate sacrifice for another. Mothra has earned her love and respect rightly, maybe even more so than Godzilla. She needs a star on the walk of fame.
The scene at the waterfall where she emerges from her cocoon and unfolds her wings is one of the most amazing, chilling, and terrifying moments I have scene. A scene filled with joy and fear at the same time. I freaking love Mothra. She is the one kaiju who was not created from a natural disaster or from beneath the earth. She was always there watching and waiting for the moment she is needed to defend us from invaders or ourselves warning us of our perils. The only thing I wished they did as a good nod to her and her lore was have the twins telepathically linked to each other and her.
Love that new kaiju fans instantly fell in love with our great queen. No matter the era she always enraptures the mortals. Its nice to see how the Legendary series has introduced so many people to Mothra. :)

I cried in the theater when i saw mothra larva and mothra adult, she is Amazingly gorgeous.
I was fine, until she came out of her cocoon and the theme started. Damn, right in the nostalgia.
My favorite part was when Mothra showed up at Castle Bravo and stopped the storm with her light.
@@Carandini To be honest, I never saw any of the movies. But that scene and the theme...even I teared up a bit.
Moths are attracted to man-made light, and humans are drawn to the glowing regalia of Mothra. It all comes full circle.
Biollante rose form has left chat:
Well, Godzilla is basically a giant L A M P
In her larva form she's really cute and in her moth form, she's majestic.

I mean Godzilla WAS with Marvel for a while to so being a fan of both is nowhere close to being a bad thing.
You can tell that there is a sort of connection between Mothra and the big G, as in
Mothra, one of three to refuse Ghidorahs call, including herself, Gojira, and Kong.
Mothra the only of the Kaijus to help Godzilla
Mothra the only Kaiju that was willing to sacrifice herself for the Big G Man
Mothra, the ONLY TRUE QUEEN

It takes truly special skill to portray a goddess creature in a purely sci-fi setting, and still retain all of her majesty and glory. That's one of the things that made this movie so magical. Took some of what the Zilla film was trying to do (portray kaiju in a naturalistic, biological way), but unlike that film, managed to retain their majesty and divine-like nature. And just a little bit of old-fashioned cheese in there for good measure. Not a lot, they're serious films, but there's just the right dose to work as a callback to how the classics of the genre were.

Its nice to see how the Legendary series has introduced so many people to Mothra. :)
I’ve never seen a Godzilla movie in my life. As soon as I saw this scene on the big screen, I was shaking and crying 🤣🤣💀💀💀
My girl is da best!
This is the Godzilla movie I been waiting for. I seen this movie at least 30 times and the Mothra scenes still got me tearing up with happiness.
This movie deserved to be a much more bigger blockbuster, but many fools don't understand entertainment these days.
Who ever choreographed this music was having a hell of a time
When Mothra sacrifices herself to give Godzilla more power, I cried 😭 And Godzilla cries for her 😭
