Our stores here in Tulsa don't carry Atkins frozen meals. We only have an egg dish and maybe one other beef meal

Candice, please help... How can I eat this much of vegetables if the two weeks we can eat only 20-25 net carbs?? This is just 2-3 broccoli! Did I misunderstand?

On the induction phase I will have something like a cup of chopped spinach and slice of onion with 2 eggs and topped with grated cheese for breakfast, a chicken breast or fish fillet with a cup of shredded lettuce and a tomato with 2 tbsp of mayo for lunch, and diced beef with a cup of broccoli or cauliflower with either a tbsp of butter or pesto on the vegetables for dinner, if I feel like something after dinner I could have one of the atkins brand chocolate bars as a dessert. I might also have a snack during the day of one or two stalks of celery with 2 tsp of peanut butter ( the no sugar kind) spread on it. That's not too many carbs when you add it up because fiber grams are subtracted from total carbs as fiber really doesn't have a negative impact it mostly just helps you poop. And later on after the induction phase you can have a bit more carbs. Don't be put off if you are still hungry during the first few days just power through it because after the first few days I notice a reduction in appetite and am no longer so hungry. Hope that helps, although u posted this 3 months ago sorry!

I didn't feel she was patronizing. She was including her child in the experience. Makes a child feel some ownership of the food choices so less table issues

Processed food as they are learning to eat whole foods will help them lose the weight fast then they move on to whole foods as they won't need the help of it.

Whole foods are always a better choice, but processed foods can be used in moderation when cooking from scratch isn't convenient.
