- You can literally get dinner and a beer for under $10 at this local favorite restaurant inside the South Point Casino in LV. We tried biscuits and gravy, hamburger and fries, and the NY Strip with eggs and hashbrowns, plus a couple of bottles of beer, of course. It's worth going off-strip when you can party and dine at such a great value.
Whether you're visiting Las Vegas for vacation, Raiders game, Golden Knights match, Formula 1, or a Nascar race, check out this option when researching where to eat in Las Vegas.

Everything looked really good! The burger, the steak fries, and hash browns were perfect. And Paul, I am heavy on the pepper on my gravy!

I like how you share your food so that we get two opinions on the food. For the price the food looked fantastic PLUS beer! A must try when we are in Vegas.

South Point has some great dining options we're excited to try!
They have a Mexican style restaurant at South Point I want to try the next time I go to Vegas. It's "Baja Miguel’s" and the have theses lunch specials called "Margarita Meal Deals". Basically they come with a free house margarita. But they also come with chips and salsa with the meal. Most places now charge for chips and salsa these days.

I see your Four Kegs shirt! We took followed your lead and tried their burgers, nice and great service. Best part of driving in from CA is hitting off strip gems. This looks like another worthy stop.

I recently found out my favorite type of beer is called “breakfast beer.”
I love the Southpoint graveyard food deals. That steak and eggs used to be under $5 a few years back. Everything goes up. I think the biscuits and gravy was $2.00.

South Point is the only place we stay now (we’re in Los Angeles, our son and daughter in law live in Vegas, so we drive in frequently). Coronado Cafe, even without the midnight special, is a pretty good place! You two deserve to have many more subscribers and views! Hubby and I love your content!

South Point is what old Vegas used to be. A great, friendly place with ordinary folks and reasonably priced restaurants. Great poker room, as well, with a wide variety of daily tournaments.
We really enjoy it there!

Those late night specials look amazing - we are normally in bed by 11pm at the latest, but if we were local and had access to South Point on the regular (or decide to just plan a stay there in the future), I would totally stay up for this.
This puts the late night options at our local casinos in Phoenix to shame. Also... we are early birds so 5:00am breakfast deals if we ever stay at South Point... Yes please!!!

I remember in the early 2000's when I was 21, we would go to Orleans for their graveyard special. $1.99 steak and eggs. And there wasn't a limit

I just got back to Michigan and in Vegas I stayed at the plaza Casino downtown but I'm staying at the Southpoint next time
Ooo, we haven't tried the Plaza yet but it's on the list (as is Michigan!)
South Point could be a stay and play destination. It's really pretty and also close to lots of great dining
Love S.P. as well as the M. I agree the food at the late hour is a pretty good price and you get what ya pay for. I find the staff there to be pretty good.

😊😊😊great food, great prices. You cant beat it any where. If you come to Vegas stay at the Southpoint. Visit the rest of the strip and downtown but eat at the Southpoint. The Garden Buffet is the best buffet in Vegas specially the Prime Rib dinner buffet Monday thru Thursday for like $30..

🎉❤ first of all thank you for your Channel!! You are so brave eating on TV I would be self-conscious. I am a dire fan of Southpoint casino. Those are really mouth-watering dishes except for the biscuits. Sure you had to try it but it looked yucky swimming in gravy. The menu has not altered since they opened -- maybe slight inflation but not by much. That burger looked so good. Ate at Steak & Shake also in S.Point Casino... paper-thin burger barely a flavor profile. Shakes are absolutely the most thick and well worth every calorie. I chose Oreos and Banana in my shake.
I'm curious how worth the Garden Buffet (same property) is. Could you review that?

Hate to think about south point being sold eventually. There are a lot of big south strip entertainment projects on the back burner, like arenas for the NBA and WNBA.

Was there late night once. Was in the restaurant for an hour and 20 minutes and never got any food. Got a water after about 35 minutes.

@@bestfoodreviewroadtrip7612 Yep. Labor Day weekend Sunday. Wasn't actually busy. The waitress was fighting the cooks. Never stay in a restaurant where the staff is in conflict. I found the manager and the dink used the "your waitress will be with you shortly' crapola

Aargh! I'm from the West Coast of the States, but sitting in Thailand, right now. ---- 7 pm my time, 5 am your time ---- and I just got this awful wave of food home-sickness, and it's all your fault!
That steak! Even when I can get beef in Thailand, they usually cook it to shoe leather. It is a pork and chicken culture, both of which must be cooked until the pink is gone. So when they cook beef....... 😮😮 (Most people in Thailand dont even eat beef. Something to do with Buddhims and souls! Lol So I dont think they'll even slice the steak as it's cooking, to check how done it is. They'll just keeeeeep cooking...... 😂)
Biscuits and gravy, unheard of here. Hashbrowns, unheard of here.
Aargh, I've suddenly got this craving for all my bad eating habits! At least I can get a McDonald's Double Quarterpounder with cheese! That's a half pound of Australian ground beef, anyway! (Cost, about $5.50)

First, we loved Thailand and visited before we started sharing experiences on TH-cam. It's beautiful and we're equally as eager to be there, sampling street food and haggling with vendors as you are to be here.

I've been playing poker and eating at the SP for years. Please tell all your friends/viewers the place is terrible, long lines, rude staff etc, etc.
