      @@thaynamite This is Las Vegas, not a typical American city. As a non-American who has been to Europe, Asia & Americas I can attest that you generally receive the best service (outside Asia) in Vegas. The tipping culture is on steroids in Vegas which further incentivizes good service. This is the city where you can ask the hotel receptionist to get you show tickets, the place which offers armed escort if you win jackpot, one where they give you free room upgrades if you just ask, and one where they offer you routine free future stays or refund some of your current expenses if you have spent some money. and to top it off: You don't need to be a millionaire big spender to start benefiting from such services!
      I saw that you are from Germany. I've been to Germany a few times & idk if you know this but customer service in Germany is quite similar (or worse) compared to a typical American city. Nowhere in Germany offers the Vegas-level kind of service. In fact, looking at Europe in particular, even Monte Carlo doesn't offer half the services which Vegas does!
      Places that offer poor service in Vegas get crushed against competition. Fontainebleau has been open for just a few months but has been involved in a bunch of news-worthy scandals during that short time frame. In each instance it has backed down against criticism & has improved things. They even watch TH-cam videos of themselves just so that they catch things before they pop up in the news so I wouldn't be surprised if they watch this video & fire that waitress & her manager.

      IKR! It promotes people not washing hands. Now imagine this: You stay in this room in a few years (i.e. 2028). Even if 1% of people who have stayed prior to your reservation didn't wash their hands, that would still mean dozens of people have gone to this exact bathroom, didn't wash their hands, walked around the same suite and used those dirty hands to touch every single object which you would now be touching!

    • @RM1969RM
      @RM1969RM หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@severinjohn Logical answer: a bathroom sink to toilet ratio above 1. If there is a use for an additional toilet, then there would equally be a need for what happens 5 minutes after: an additional sink in which the person who was just sitting on the mentioned toilet would wash the hands with. In addition, there are more (and lengthier) things to do with a sink compared to a toilet which puts higher demand for a sink compared to a toilet.
      This isn't a matter of space & connections either since there is both space and existing water connection. Fontainebleau just simply cheap-ed out of paying 1k for a 1M+ suite.

      I agree with this 100%! Tim, maybe since you actually have hotels that tell you straight up that they don’t know what a mattress encasement is, just assume nobody knows what it is and when you initially ask, try to describe it a little better. Maybe something as simple as “Can you please place a mattress encasement on the bed that fully seals the entire mattress inside?” Maybe something like that with just a few extra descriptors will help a lightbulb or two go off for the person you are speaking to so they discern in from a mattress protector. At least in the States, that thin sheet-like cover on the mattress is called a “mattress protector” and my guess is many just think that’s what you mean.

    You are a supreme person. I would not have been so polite and as classy as you. The price that you paid was not worth that.

    You really should try Wynn but stay in the Tower Suites on Wynn side. Tower suites are a hotel within a hotel and so worth it. The location of the tower is steps to everything and Wynn service is the best i have had in Vegas.
