- Huge deals and portions at this North Las Vegas local favorite. The off-strip Big Horn Casino Restaurant and Lounge offers massive dishes at low prices. We tried the chicken fried steak and one pound ham steak, both offered 24 hours a day along with the other items on their large menu. Plus, beers are only $3 any time of the day!

It's hard to not love dining in this city
The 2 breakfasts you chose looked delicious and very generous. I love breakfast for dinner and have been craving ham steaks for weeks. I used to buy one the size that they gave Amy and get about 4-5 meals out of it. I used to dice it up, fry the dice with onions and peas in butter and then toss it with small pasta. That was a great meal after working all day. The chicken fried steak looked great too. The decor was nice, homey and warm too.
We just saw a similar ham steak at the grocery store. What a great idea for several meals. It's so good.

Longhorn is a great find ! Only bad thing is the smoke in casino and the air system! It has a great restaurant and good deals . Longhorn and Bighorn owned by the same people! Very Vegas friendly for the locals .

My favorite Chicken Fried Steak is at the Chuckwagon Restaurant at The Longhorn Hotel & Casino

Great review. I've had the CFS at the Longhorn on Boulder Highway. Same size..same price. Longhorn has a one pound ham too. Made two big meals out of it.

It’s chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns and ham ………….how can you go wrong?
Ham steak was our cheap single mom Sunday meal when my kids were little. They loved it
It was great! Lots of leftovers
Frozen pre fab CFS, pass. The CFS at Ellis Island is just as big, but is hand breaded and absolutely delicious. Breakfast version with eggs, potatoes and toast is $16. Dinner Version is $17 with choice of potato or rice, green beans and soup or salad.
We haven't tried breakfast yet at Ellis island. Thanks for the tip

My favorite meal is chicken fried steak, I know it’s much info but I have a colonoscopy in the morning and haven’t eaten for 26 hours. I’m starving. I know where I’m going after my procedure in the morning

The chicken fried steak was over cooked and under seasoned. The home fries were under cooked.
The ham steak was frozen when grilled, rendering it dry.
Sunny side up eggs were overcooked with undercooked hash browns.
Yup, the Longhorn Casino must have taken you guys for two fools!😂

All those carbohydrates? Peel off all that breading from the fried steak. Potatoes? How much is a potato? There is about $2.50 worth of food and all of it is probably cooked in vegetable oil which is carcinogenic when heated. Oh well live it up because you will be 6ft under before you know it. By the way bring a respirator so you can filter the smoke out of your lungs so you can keep coming back for more. All my best.

Water street downtown Henderson has the rainbow casino restaurant and the emerald casino restaurant. Very good food for value.
