My Emotional Drive in PAUL WALKER'S Priceless R34 GT-R!

- What an emotional drive! This particular R34 GT-R belonged to the late Paul Walker himself, and thanks to @458destroyer I'm lucky to get behind the wheel and experience it for myself. We also have the R34 GT-R S-Tune for a back to back with Paul's former Motorex GT-R.
Sadly Paul Walker lost his life in 2013 alongside Roger Rodas in an accident involving a Porsche Carrera GT, an day I remember well as the automotive world lost a true icon. Having featured through The Fast and The Furious movie franchise, and being well known for his love of JDM cars, Paul was truly a star of the scene. As any true car guy, Paul had assembled a car collection of his own including two of the cars that are now owned by 458destroyer; the Motorex R34 GT-R and also the R32 GT-R race car alongside it.
After walking through the JDM side of the garage, we can move to the GT-R collection; and what a collection it is. While not all present due to the 25 year import rule, the collection includes every iteration of the R34 GT-R; Z-Tune, R-Tune, S-Tune, M-Tune, V Spec II, Nur and you name it, plus R33s and R32s. Today though, we're focusing on two; the R34 S-Tune and Paul's former Motorex car; that was officially owned and titled to him.

one thing im most proud of is that i've never seen any of the fast and furious movies. this was a nice tribute to a fallen hero to many,
I met Paul Walker back in 2010! He was the most friendly person I've ever met. I was working as a Ski Valet in Telluride, CO and for 7 days, he was our customer. He invited me and the crew for dinner not once, but twice for pizza and beer. His last night, we went partying and it was really funny and all.... and he lost his flight next day xD. Maaaan I miss you Paul, you are a legend and I will always remember you as the most down to earth and friendly person ever.
Tim, we also met like 3 years ago in Newport Beach, CA (Lamborghini Newport). You sent my brother happy birthday wishes... haha idk if you can remember but thank you for that! I follow and watch all of your TH-cam videos.

Paul Walker was such an inspiration for me. Incredible human. I liked that he actually knew something about cars and was more than just an actor. But I liked him even more as a person than a car guy or an actor, he did an incredible amount of charitable work and simply tried to make the world a better place. His mantra of "do good" is so simple but yet important and it reminds me to try to do something good every day.
Is he still an inspiration now that he dated a 16 year old when he was 32?

Paul Walker was such an amazing actor, and a HUGE car enthusiast. He has such a passion for driving and one heck of a collection especially of JDM, porsches and BMW. Loved his taste in cars. Such a shame he passed so early. Dude had a heart of gold and beyond talented at everything he did from acting, to driving and even martial arts. RIP Paul Walker.

I always found Paul Walker's passing was one of those where if you are an enthusiast and had an affinity with the Fast and Furious franchise (Specifically the early ones) you remember where you where and what you were doing when you heard about it. Glad that the franchise and his passion showed the JDM scene to so many who weren't aware of it, and developed our own passions towards cars and mechanics and all things automotive.

Fast & Furious passed me by being a lot older, but I understand the sentiment of connecting with something a legend’ of the screen can give. Meeting your ‘heroes’ in any shape or form is awesome. JDM cars don’t do anything for me but my father became a big fan of Subaru later in his life and since then I love the old Legacy range. Nice one Tim.

Hearing the news of Walker's passing i'll never forget... I was in prison at the time watching the news with some other inmates who were acquaintances of mine while I was there and I'll never forget all 3 of us seeing it pop up on the news in disbelief and tears rolling down each of our cheeks because the Fast and Furious movies were kind of our idyllic life. Fast cars and racing with various people and the illegal nature surrounding it, as well as it being our introduction to seeing tuned cars of various companies from Honda/Acura, Toyota, Nissan etc. Then the second film came along and I'll never forget falling absolutely in love with the Skyline from that film as well as being so sad it had a minimal role in the beginning. Some people will never forget where they were on 9/11, well, Paul Walker's death was my 9/11. I'll never forget every detail about that moment :(

I can felt how emotional shmee is, like the way he talks about the legend, Mr Paul Walker it is very emotional for me personally when he passed not only he is raising a charity for our country back then when a huge storm hit us in philippines and i am such a huge fan of his.

The best thing about Paul, and definitely the thing that needs to be remembered more than anything else was his character as a person. He was a good guy who was starting to do great things for ocean and ocean life protection and conservancy.
I’ll always think of him as a surfer and family oriented guy well before that of an actor and car enthusiast. Those things are cool too but a person’s character is what counts, good or bad. That’s what we all deserve to be remembered for is how good a person we were or weren’t and Paul Walker was a good person. 🤙🏻

Great video. I wasn't a Paul Walker fanboy but did find his death very sad and went on a very enjoyable Paul Walker tribute meet/run around Bristol in the FTO I had at the time.

Driving Pauls R34, what a dream😎
His prized r34 is literally a time capsule. Every part was from the early 00's and aren't in production anymore. Just the bodykit itself is something you don't see on r34's anymore as everyone now goes z-tune style copy and pasting from each other.
One of the only time's Tim meets a guy with a better car collection than his own. Paul Walkers car is priceless, this must be the finest collection of JDM cars anywhere on the planet
