Sorry that Brian and Larry didn't mention that. They were not as much aware of the history as myself. The car was made as a replica of Blackbird. This car was sold to the 2nd buyer, very soon after the first movie came out. You have to understand in the time, just another R34. Thank you for posting this video. Cars like this were my life, from 1994 to 1999 when I lived in Japan. NSXs, Supras, FDs, GT-Rs, I saw them all in the wild, every time I opened my front door. That is when I saw my first Soarer. I only had a bicycle then, but I wanted a Soarer soooooo bad! Hahaha. I’ll admit that for the longest time I wouldn’t have said that I was big into cars but when I saw F&F1 that started my fascination for JDM cars as well as cars in general. One day I dream of having a 99 R34 regardless of how cliche it may or may not sound. Not a second about the NSX next to the R34, it looked really nice! Great video tho! - very nice with a lot of history. I hope they sell it to someone worthy.
I remember seeing the first ff at a drive in movie theater when I was around 12 and after that I became addict to car culture. Still love that eclipse from the first movie 😅
Saw this car in person back in March (early pandemic times) and it was a true gem. TopRank has quality JDM cars for sure. Bought my Evo II GSR that same weekend from them.

Knowing the legend they got me into the beautiful community has passed away and seeing his first r34 gtr in a video like this is really sad that he left us so early on. R.I.P. the Legend Paul Walker🙏😢
My buddy’s worked on Paul Walker’s White R34, funny story on that GTR they ordered a Tomei built engine for it and the engine came with a numbered plate for the engine from Tomei but Paul Walker liked a specific number (I believe it was 47) and they had a new number plate for the engine provided from Tomei with the number Paul Walker wanted on it. Lots of incredible parts went onto that car.
You can't be that blown away by the active aero on the GTO and the Supra after seeing it on the R31 at Hoonigan Larry lol. That blew everybody's mind :P
To that conversation of the movie GTR and what not, I believe Craig Lieberman stated that all of them were GTRs (2 Fast 2 Furious). The Hero 1 car was Craig's but repainted for the movie and copies were made of it for the subsequent stunt cars. And then it got repainted again (Hero 1) when it was returned to him. The comment of the GTS-Ts here I'm pretty sure is pertaining to the reboot of the series after Tokyo Drift, were Paul was driving a Bayside Bluish GTR which definitely were mostly converted GTS-Ts

The bit about skyline stock wheels being rare probably has a bit to do with Australia and NZ. They (the enkeis mind, the BBS's were always rare) used to be cheap and they're light and look great of fc's and silvias and such that there heaps of here. lots of owners in Japan would swap their skyline wheels for aftermarket and our guys would snap them up for a few hundred bucks.
I don't comment on anything but I feel I have 2 here. It's so much emotion and influence I am such a huge car man every since I was 8. I'm 30. Just like Steve Irwin. Seriously thank u and respect bro 4 your connections. 1 word amazing.
I remember seeing a grey R34 driving on a highway in Sarasota, FL in 2011... I was FREAKING OUT, and BEGGING my ex's dad to get next to him...omg what a freaking spot for me, I think the coolest one in my whole life.
You can see in the customization of the front end grill/difusor that it was intended when someone walked around it, that there would always be a good angle and look to it. This was done by making a lot of cut outs and splitter work. This is the thought process of it, moving forward from a regular r34 front end.
You could probably take a picture of a car that perfectly Beautiful with a obama phone and it still be just Perfect. Only larry can do it the justice it deserves. R.I.P paul walker a true blue car guy that spared NO EXPENSE to make it what it is. #TopNotch
The white (QM1) r33 GTR is the most common at 6581 made. The midnight purple (LP2) comes in 2nd 2510 for the 33 GTR. I have a white 33 GTR and its definitely the most common color for this car.
who is saying the PW GTR's body kit is old, they seriously dont know anything about the JDM cars of the sub 2000s era. This bodykit is timeless...its period correct as you say, and it should remain as is...i would even keep the suspension just to show to the modern world how things have change since now and then!
So what that Paul walker owned it,it's so far from the car how he owned it, when Paul had it it was totally bone stock, the 2nd owner did all the modifications, body kit also,so it's hardly paul walker's car....only saying paul walker so to add value 😭👎😂
I’ve been taking getting into cars seriously now I’ve been into cars since NFS pro street but now since I’m older it’s such a unique art and hobbie to be into such a masterpiece shown on this video. I do hate when private collectors buy cars just to keep them and never see the light of day until they got sold again to different owners. Cars are meant to be driven and especially performance cars that are better to be pushed to the limits.

17k usd on the toprank website for a maloo mockup that's real maloo money in australia
Thank you Paul and Hoonigan focus for driving down memory lane 😭😎 we miss you paul.
I honestly forgot about Paul's skyline. I became lost in a sea of jdm glory.
That's not Paul's R34 this is a replica not the actual one he drove in
@@topdokx did you even watch the video? This is the actual car he owned in his personal life, not the movie prop cars...
@@theholty which part of the vid
topdokx pretty much the whole second part of the video where they talk about how he got it from MOTOREX etc? Just watch the whole thing, everything you need to know is in there 🤷🏻♂️
Thanx for shareing all this great info.I love Paul Walker ever since FF1..rest in piece PaulWalker we love you and miss you greatly. His good vibes his spirit lives on within us. Thanx guys for this video.
Ayyye my guy, that's a Century, not a crown lol
I want a Century! XD
Thanks Larry for who you are and what you do! RIP Paul Walker! You are immortalized through your passions of cars and screen play!
They haul around the emperor in a crown limousine.
*century
The bit about skyline stock wheels being rare probably has a bit to do with Australia and NZ. They (the enkeis mind, the BBS's were always rare) used to be cheap and they're light and look great of fc's and silvias and such that there heaps of here. lots of owners in Japan would swap their skyline wheels for aftermarket and our guys would snap them up for a few hundred bucks.
Garage Defend still exists. Also, Fast and Furious came out in 2001, not 99.
Spectre is very much still around and still growing.
The fb page is way more active than YT . Everyone ticks to their S Chassis
WOW THANKS FOR SHARING THIS ART! WE MISS PAUL 🙏🏾
Paul Didn't Die, He's just waiting at the finish line
I don't comment on anything but I feel I have 2 here. It's so much emotion and influence I am such a huge car man every since I was 8. I'm 30. Fast and furious was my favorite movie I play almost every racing game from Ps 1 to ps4. I truly enjoy seeing Paul walkers heritage. Thank you so much fighting tears he was my role model. Just like Steve Irwin. Seriously thank u and respect bro 4 your connections. 1 word amazing.
I might have to contact top rank to find me a 99 beams MR2 when the time comes... To keep my Supercharged MK1 company.
Get one lined out asap. The market is getting stupid. Im glad I already have one, won't be able to afford it in 10 years.
Tristen Ludewick Exactly.
I've taken a photo of the Empress of Japan in a Century back in 2002 when I was in Tokyo. So cool.
RIP Paul Walker you are the reason I love cars today 🚗 🚘
Loved seeing the 5 litre Aussie Commodore ute pop up 👌 thanks for sharing Larry, this is perfect for lockdown viewing 🤙
The VS Maloo's are so hard to find now!
So does he still drive it?
Bruh
The top rank staff still drive it yeah
I remember seeing a grey R34 driving on a highway in Sarasota, FL in 2011... I was FREAKING OUT, and BEGGING my ex's dad to get next to him...omg what a freaking spot for me, I think the coolest one in my whole life.
What do people do with a pair of Suzuki Cappuccinos .___.
Throtle guys purchased it
Nothing more breathtaking than a garage full of super clean Japanese domestic cars with lots of history. Thanks for sharing their garage!
“USDM Prius” 😂
The Amount of people driving and starring at the R34 when larry is driving around is crazy , it gets soo much attention such a great car ,..
The "second wave" jdm craze is like the baby boomer hot rod movement of our generation.
For real.
90's kids unite.
@@coldmoonlight6361 Americas 90s kids it seems are funking rolling in it $$. Pushing up prices like crazy.
@@colincharan-kumpula6424 damn right 😪
You can see in the customization of the front end grill/difusor that it was intended when someone walked around it, that there would always be a good angle and look to it.
Sorry man, can’t watch the whole thing when you put 10 ads in it❗️
adblocker is your friend!
who is saying the PW GTR's body kit is old, they seriously dont know anything about the JDM cars of the sub 2000s era.
This bodykit is timeless...its period correct as you say, and it should remain as is...i would even keep the suspension just to show to the modern world how things have change since now and then!

Man This Guy Paul has his hands on his Friends crotch 😂 😂
Would have gotten mee tood!!
I drove an Exige like that. Great car. Easy to handle, will take corners any way you want and it will do it quickly with style.
One day I hope that I get to restore my dads 94” accord and to see the day that I drive it for the first time would be a dream and ESPECIALLY to hear that bov would make me truly happy to hear. Appreciate everyone here and in the video such a unique car as well ^^
He's so awkward and the indoor glasses are killing me.....
just a normal dude ;p
he is not really awkward, i don't see what you are talking about
Top rank is where they filmed this, and the guy giving this tour, is honestly the nicest guy ever. My buddy had just bought a s14 , so we were feeling the jdm vibes lol. But we drove to top rank in cypress, and the guy gave us a tour!! And he let me sit in the white r34 that was on the lift, it wasn’t at the time. But if u go there, they will take you on a tour! Such cool guys!
What a legendary car that once used to belong to a man or should I say a legend who inspired my generation .Paul Walker will never be forgotten .Rip my hero.
😱❤️love you Larry! Thank you for this sir! Toprank’s dope af..their collection’s mint
Succes Chen,, You find the greatest cars around.. Keep up te great Work.. 🤙
This R34 is awesome, I wouldn't change a damn thing cosmetically it's looks clean still has a custom look without going too crazy. It's one of kind vehicle because was Paul Walker vehicle.
dlp2600 Paul didn’t put the kit on. Owner after him did
I've always wanted the Pulsar GTI-R at 2:05 as a daily. It's like a pocket rocket
These are all really really beautiful this is an amazing collection hands down
I do hate when private collectors buy cars just to keep them and never see the light of day until they got sold again to different owners. Cars are meant to be driven and especially performance cars that are better to be pushed to the limits.
I still remember driving next to an R34 in High school in 2006. I was in aww then, but had no idea how rare it was to see one on the road in the US
Dude! Keep the active aero! There are other ways to cool the air but only one option for factory active aero!
F'n rad as always...Thank you, Mr. Chen!
Larry calling Nisan to do a Cima build for SEMA! Freaking awesome. Now that is what I call having some fun!
I just realized the massive improvement on your camera's stabilization Larry...THANK YOU so much!
