Alcohol claims over 3 million lives every year globally!🥲Beyond the hangovers, it can cause anxiety, liver disease and a host of other health issues. The costs of alcohol misuse are staggering, tearing families apart and straining communities. Amazing information! Thank you Leon for sharing it with us. The world needs to know about the real truth about alcohol!👋👍

It`s been 1 month and 4 days since my last drink. I`ve been a heavy drinker for 15+ years.
I thank God for stopping. Your channel helped me a lot!!!! This message of what the cortisol is doing to my body is what made me stop drinking.

I absolutely used alcohol as an 'unwinding' tool after a long week of work. Friday would come along and I would desperately feel the need for those few beers thinking it would take the edge off the week. It's now that I've quit I can remember the feeling. It was the same feeling as when I smoked. My body was craving the drink - not that I needed it to de-stress. Even now when I have incredibly stressful weeks at work, it doesn't feel as stressful as before knowing I had the drink to 'take the edge off'. Now I don't drink, simply having a rest, seeing family and enjoying my weekend is more than enough after a week of work.
Thanks again, so pleased I found your channel.
Keep strong everyone, one day at a time!

I quit 2 summers ago. Holidays are a bit stressful. Not going to lie but I think I can handle it this time. But don't want to. 1 becomes 2, then 3 then daily, then different alcohol come into the picture. Then I'm back to where I ended up last time. Drunk, stupid, angry, forgetful, etc etc.

This video was perfectly timed for me. On day 3 and the cravings and headaches are a bit much. 😫 But I know that glass of wine I'm craving is only going to make it worse. I'm bummed out about the coffee suggestion, but if I'm already suffering for the next week I might as well rip off that band aid as well.

One day at a time! Don't replace alcohol as challenging as that seems. It's all about the mindset around alcohol. Try going for a walk, doing something you can't do while drinking. Stay strong!

I had a glass of red wine last night after 316 days alcohol free. I wasn’t even having a craving for it, probably more just curious to see how it would affect me. I’m 33 and I wouldn’t have classed myself as a problem drinker before. But I would overindulge sometimes for overcoming social anxiety. I didn’t exactly feel a great buzz from that glass of wine and it now feels like a stupid thing to have done considering how many of your videos and other similar videos I’ve watched. I think I will go back to total sobriety now.

It's a slippery slope. Whenever I've started drinking semi regularly again, it always starts with one or two. Then I might have one a few days later, and finally there is one time where people are drinking excessively so I do too and I suddenly look back and realize I've now been drinking again for weeks, spent X dollars, missed some workouts, productivity down etc. It's much easier for me just to say no to all of it all the time. It's more of a psychological thing and it's the only reliable way for me to live the way I want to live month over month.

You are more interested in making money than helping people. I booked a call for 11:30am on Sunday. I had checked the box that said "Limited money" or something to that affect. Sure enough, no call. Fraud.
