    When a herd of bison sense there’s a heavy storm coming , they charge head on right towards it. They know they’re gonna have to deal with it at some point so they take on the challenge.

    Inspiring video! The only way to quit is to really change your thinking about alcohol. When your life goes from bad to worse, you realize alcohol is taking more than it's giving. When you finally get so tired of the hangovers, anxiety, weight gain, shame of embarrassing yourself and doing dangerous things, (like getting into fights, drink driving), fear of losing your job, opportunities and relations you will say: Alcohol lied to me! It’s the fake best friend that betrayed me!👋

    Do all the things you always wanted to do, but couldn’t because you were either drunk or hung over. It can be as simple as being a good partner for once.

    Exactly what i did, only 6 weeks ago mind ! I came back from Odstock hospital where i am going for a skin graft due to an alcoholic fall. I sat in my kitchen, fed up with hospitals and i said out loud, ‘ enough, no more, everything changes now” , no alcoholic, good nutrition, look after ME for a change, so far i have kept the strength and am high on life, 100per cent into my business and happy at last; every morning i say that i won”t drink today, it really is worth just waking up And going for it hell for leather, as we say in England! Good luck to everyone like myself and thankyou Leon, {i was one of those who needed to just go for it!}

    This was a banger, Leon. I'm at the stage where I have zero desire to drink and I know it will never come back, however I do still enjoy watching your vids because I mostly just enjoy mentally cheering you on. But this one has something I hadn't thought of before and it's very true. I've kept that positive momentum and carried it into other areas of my life almost unconsciously. I'm not a millionaire but I am doing a lot better in many areas.

    😂 The whole conflict thing. Honestly after years of not drinking I pick my battle wisely. However when I did drink I did not let anything slide. I was always pretty angry at everyone and myself. I confronted my problems and made them worse with more unhealthy decisions.
    Now, 9 years sober I figured out ways to dive into what's important, confront my issues in a positive ways. If that was me one Thailand I would have turned around and asked him to hug me before reaching around. Either way you are correct something changes in your mind set where you can make a positive change with the right tools.

    Although I agree with all of this. Sobriety doesn't just make you a millionaire it makes you more present in your own potential. And people like Bradley cooper were already wealthy before they got sober. The average person needs to explore his or her own potential.

    That's a great story and I love how it unfolds, congrats for the narrative.
    Some points to address below.
    1. Avoiding conflict has a deeper meaning for each of us and might be caused out of different experiences. Might be because of childhood trauma (I know it might be a soup subject, but it can be true). Might be of our personality, period, and many more. If you want to really find out the cause of it, some inner work might be required. And maybe a therapist.
    2. Regarding the stand up for yourself with the 4 guys scene, I've realised through life that you need to take calculated risks. Even Jacko Wilcko advises to run if possible. I'm not saying you should run. Although I understand that your lack of reaction came out as a fear of standing up for yourself, sometimes it's good to just make some calculations with the highest probability of best outcome for you.
    3. Sky is the limit, yes. You can do almost everything you wanted/ want. Quit alcohol? Yes. Apply for the course? Yes. Pause, measure, Then move on. We need to evolve, otherwise we'll get tired and sick of ourselves in no time.
    Thank you for your story and video, Leon.

      Great points - especially regarding the nuances of when and when not to engage in standing up for yourself. Keep killing it! Leon

    Leon you need to train yourself to not feel. Embarrassed for doing what every entrepreneur does. Count the moneybags. Add numbers right. Be polite and be angry when needed.
