Well good that i ran into your video. I have the similar issue. Suddenly my car through 10 codes and car stalls. It starts back up and no codes. Very frustrating. I did checked that ground on head above thermostat housing and seems ok. But after watching this video, i will tear that harness to see if that ground wire is broke. I will update you soon. And much thanks for this video. As a profession i am a master tech and 35 years of experience. I am also very frustrated.
Ground wire never broke it's the ground part that's mounted to engine block it runs of your coil pack harness it's a black on I had to replace the ground wire they you shitty ground wire. Recommend to changed them there chips parts that's wire do not wire it to different location can cause 10, codes to pop up with issues I do not have that ground wire cause issues if not put back where it goes which is weird. I used 16 gauge black wire Walmart parts stores carries them 8 bucks for a roll
Thanks a ton! In my case no new ground required. Just sprayed the connector with connection cleaner and jammed it back in hard. Sprayed, wire brushed and added electrical grease to the ground connection on the block below that connector and at both ends of the battery cable. Positrack, power steering warnings gone, bouncing tach gone, stalling gone.
I tried spraying mine at first didn't work GM uses a cheap ground I had to resolve it with a new end. It work out great before no issues if you don't use same bolt engine light will come on with few codes very weird with some rs models
@@WorldWideMediaGroup1 ...Well thanks I'm going to try that now because it looks like I spoke to soon and the errors and no start are back after a day. Cheers
ground is black its the black wire that runs from your ingtion coil connector and you will see a black wire screwed on driver side of engine block right above or below your water outlet housing can't miss it be sure you use a good connector and or ground if you do not you have bunch or random codes they may pop up car will stay be sure you change both cam shaft sensors and crank at same time solved my issue. please understand doesn't mean it will help your issue. GM uses crapping connectors and groups on these cars
Eco tech engines are very good with gas mileage smooth driving and run quiet engines are not that reliable as the modern eco tech motors new ones are junk turbos start to go u got issue
process for resetting a Chevy Cruze theft deterrent system isn't too complicated you need to reset a Chevy Cruze theft deterrent system? Press the unlock button, get out of the car, but leave the door open, then press the lock button on the door, and shut it. Simple as that.
Most of the time we use cars. People think it's the coil packs or think it's a spark plugs and it's not. I had to replace both of my camshaft sensors and crankshaft sensor and redo the ground wire that runs to the side of the engine block which is below where the coil packs are because it has a crappy ground end on that wire and you have to replace it with a better one and it's been over 6 months at that time and it never came back on. It used to come on every time I do more than 60 mph like down i, 75 or any other interstate
