@@ANUP_YADAV830 ethanol, hydrogen, Natural Gas, propane, biogas, electric, petrol, diesel, etc are some examples of fuel for vehicles. Many of these were brought to India during modi government for example hydrogen and propane.

Thank God to this government which doubled or perhaps tripled the Railway Electrification in just 10 years. It was less than 40% in 2014, today it is more than 85%.

Suppose in a war time, if our electricity plants are bombed & transmission lines gets damaged, what will happen to our railway logistics, the lifeline of India? It will simply halt.
& How will our forces fight in extreme conditions when supplies & logistics will not reach them?

No we do have oil security, we have the 6 banks of one of the biggest river in India which are oil rich which are not yet auctioned.

The main reason america doesn't run towards electrification is because all of the railways in the US is private, nothing is state owned and all companies except one are Freight transporting railway companies, and diesel locos are better at freight operations than electric locos, secondly cost, private businesses won't spend a huge amount of money on electrification they'll go bankrupt.......

They are the producers it's unwise to burn ur own products. They are small in terms of actual track length & users. Many lines are 3000v DC only 😊

America will transition into hydrogen trains aur hyperloop trains which is a better alternative and also require less maintenance. Bhai vo technically aur scientifically humse jyada advanced h.. elon musk, bill gates, tim cook, zuckerburg jaise log hain wahan. jyada hoshiyari nahi dikhate. hote toh trains mein Aaj bhi janwaro ki tarah Safar nhi kar rahe hote.
Hyperloop is a scam and at this point most of the world learnt it why are u so behind? Hydrogen doesn't have energy density it only has ~8 Mj per liter vs ~38 Mj per liter of diesel. That is why there is no heavy load freight hydrogen locomotive. U can sacm dump people who don't know or understand the difference between kg & liter and don't understand yes 1kg of hydrogen is more powerful but u have to carry it somehow if u compress it to 600bars u get ~5 mj per liter which even if u conver it 100% efficiently which law of physics does allow it's too little like a diesel engine that is less than 20% efficient. People have tried for 1970s oil embargo era to make hydrogen happen but the law of physics always kills it. Even in the rocket industry people are going away from hydrogen to methane .

@@Durgesh-Singh-Chouhan As of now more than 90% of IR's routes are fully electrified & functional so almost all trains run on these routes using electric power engines.
But the regions which are not electrified yet, diesel is used as a source to power the trains.
But Railways' plan is to reach 100% electrification till the end of 2024.
