I use a damp mixture of bread crumbs and corn kernels, with a can of sardines or tuna in oil, and some sand to carry it down in the water as a burley mix for bringing in the fish when it is cool and they are a bit sluggish, it really wakes them up and gets them interested in eating. You want it to be just damp enough to form into balls to lob into the bait zone. Will have to try adding a bit of jello to the mix.
This particular mix has been a killer for us in the Spring. We crushed them on this in April and May. Only difference we had was we added some cherry cola if still a little dry or... instead of two corn, we did one corn and one hominy. Never tried this in Winter although with the temps, lakes are freezing now. Tight lines PGH.
Yeah real fun and they always put on a nice fight ..just make sure your rod is secure cuz if it ain’t ..the last thing your gonna see is that thing go flying 🤭😬😁
If you will use cream corn instead of whole kernel it will pack better. The cream corn has more moisture. Or you can add a little pond water. Just an idea....

sir, if your bait is difficult to knead, add another one, corn flour or wheat flour, before adding flavor, for example, (bread crust, sweet corn, jelly) buy strawberry flavor at a cake shop, and add corn flour or wheat flour) It sticks when it is folded,im sorry just for help
Nice bait. I’ve only used oatmeal based baits so far. Still just getting into carp fishing. But have seen several videos now of this simple bait. Some others use regular breadcrumb instead of Panko. Is there a big difference in how it turns out between the 2. Def gonna give it a try.
+DMV_Fisher Yes the panko give more a light and fluffy bait pile on the bottom of the river, lake, or pond. Good luck with using this bait be sure to use the rig we recommend at the end of the video.
I've never targeted carp but know of a giant pond nearm e where all there is in it is giant grass carp lol. I'll try making some of this and taking a trip down there once it gets warmer. Right now it's 15 degrees out don't think their biting haha
That's awesome glad to help achieve your goals. Glad it worked out for you. If you ever tried dough bait check this bait video out it works great too for carp. th-cam.com/video/n7atydn1TRs/w-d-xo.html
@@TheMDOutdoors2016 Thats the problem. I live in southern Europe and don't have brands that most people have where you live. Kool air is also off the list.
I would replace the bread crumbs with oats in the summer or sometimes just add it to the bait. You want to use small particles in your pack bait during the winter months considering that they won't be eating too much. If they eat too much they would have a hard time disgusting the food.
Yeah these pack baits work dang good for carp indeed man . Been a while since I went carp fishing may need to try for carp soon. Learned how to make a few kinds of pack baits from Catfish & Carp. Good Video
i fished for carp all last summer and i only caught cat-fish. do you know the reason why that would happen? mainly fishing with corn on hook bait and cereal and bread as chum.
This bait also great for channel catfish. I would recommend fishing areas that have weeds and places to hide. Also in the summer fish shallow water and mouths of creeks for carp. Hope this helps answer your question. Good luck with your fishing adventures in the summer.
I use the smaller ones if I am only going to be there for a few hours. The bigger ones for longer sessions on the water for example our recent camping video for carp. Hope this helps and answers your questions or concerns. As always happy fishing and tight lines my friend.
Here is a tip down grade your bait size and also the way you present the bait too like switch from hair rig to a Ronnie rig. There are videos on how to tie the rig. I do have another video coming out soon that might help with the winter carp.
Also in colder months carp move to deeper water unlike summer when carp are shollow so target them at river bends and creek openings those are some of the deepest sections in a river and if you have a chance check out my channel on Instagram @particle_inc._ for more tips and techniques I go every weekend

You're gonna check your regulations in your country?Every country has their own regulations on fishing bait that can be used.
Don't drain the corn, what you made is to dry
You don't want it too wet or it won't break down right.
Of course you don't, adding birdseed helps with breakdown . I personally grind my own corn and substitute strawberry with pro banana
