Wow… I worked same bank hols.. 27th December but not as a charge.. I got £740 before tax, and I was feeling fly😂😂 time to switch agency 😭😭
Btw I must commend you for this video. So sincere and straight to the point. I learnt a lot. The thing is, for now I’m picking shifts in a care home because that’s my area of experience for now but hopefully after 6 months in nhs I’ll start picking shifts for hospital and by then switch agencies too 🙌🙌🙌🙌

I'm planning to register for a nursing masters in the uk soon but my bsc is in agriculture so I'm not sure if I'll have the same opportunities as people who have always been in healthcare. Any advice or extra tips would be really appreciated 🙏🏾
You just need to figure out which countries accept a master's in nursing without a BSc in nursing and stick with them.

That’s only for 1 shift bro.. if you’re single that one bank holiday pay is enough to cover your rent (if room in a shared house), bills and food for a month.

Hi I’m in college and I’m thinking about doing a course that would lead to nursing, would you say it’s worth it cause I want to be a nurse but I don’t want to be worrying about money when I’m older.
Nursing is worth it, but the first few years won’t give you the money you want, you have to be intentional about making money from nursing in the uk or anywhere really. Goodluck x

I’ve always had this idea that UK does not retain international students
I have these pieces of information on my Facebook page, link in the description.
Your employer will arrange your visa and flight fee, some cater for your accommodation as well.
I am looking at doing a video showing a day in my life as a nurse.
The Uk has two years post-study visa opportunities now, so yes they do retain international students.

I still wonder why Nursing is hyped so much. I am a HR Professional, work as a contractor and have mainly worked for the NHS . I earn way more as Band 8C, my daily rate is £500 a day, I don't have to work overtime or on bank holidays , or work dirty I am OCD anyways and do not like the site of hospital and the beauty of it all is less work more money and work from home. When I got into HR it was an eye opener for me to see that Nurses are over worked and under paid. There are loads of professions where you work less and get paid more another field is IT. People need to wisen up,do your research, better yourself and live a soft life. Mind you I am CIPD chartered and am not speaking from the junior level.
I think it’s the job security thing otherwise we are underpaid and it’s a well known facts, really sad.
