Most Carillons today have a range of 6 Octaves but I've wanted a travel carillon with 6 (or more) fully chromatic Octaves that I could use as a singer songwriter.
I had a question about carillons - does a carillon have to be a particular weight in order to be listed or counted as one? i'm building a mini carillon of 40 bells, a mixture of aluminium brass and bronze bells which ive tuned and managed to get them sounding alright, but the bourdon is only 2lb 4oz, would this have to count as a practice carillon or would it actually count as one? i intend to make a baton keyboard and pedals for it

Congratulations from Barcelona for this excellent video!
A fine way to promote this wonderful music. A very good mixture of text and music.
That was super excellent. Thanks!
Great video. Besides the lovely sounds, I enjoyed the information at the end in case one wants to look up more.
