It's just a shame it bears KK and Disney meddling. I agree the nose cone art being replaced with Padme and Anakin was better, but no one seems to have stopped to consider why not have both scenes? One that shows how Anakin regards Padme, and one that shows how the boys on the front line regard her. Still, this is probably the best we could hope for under Disney and KK. Best let it lay until KK is gone and someone who can hold back Disney's corporate interference can come on board as Lucasfilm CEO.

I’ve gotta hand it to Dave Filoni and his team, honestly. @Anakin Skywalker Yeah, Ahsoka screwed up there. Maul was perfectly willing to team up with her and I suspect he would have liked her to replace Savage. He's still grieving for him after all.
I agree with Maul here, Ahsoka made it clear she didn't care about him when she released him. Maul's plan was originally to stop the turn of Vader so he has no guilt in their relationship. So to allow her to join him would be an unnecessary and stupid risk.
@@shoeman6966 she was gifted from the beggining tho, she was always a league above the others of her age, she became a padawan at 14, at 16 she was already offered the title of Jedi knight but she left, Obi Wan was 20 and something and was still a padawan The daughter essence is just a big plus!
life its badass the I agree she was naturally gifted, but she I think we underestimate how much the daughter helped her. In an early clone wars episode, she struggled to lift a single person in the air. I also think she grew stronger after leaving the order. When she left, there was no light or dark. There was only what was right. She conducted her actions based on what was right. Notice how she has almost never mentioned the dark or light side of the force? I think that also made her stronger. She was less affected by the ridiculous rules of the Jedi.
@Tracker T Exactly! Many Jedi struggle and try to become so stronf over decades to become jedi knights and it is effective, but there are gifted people like Ahsoka that are able to become that 10x times faster than you, that shouldn't be a factor of envy, they should be proud, it's her own work and skills, and it shows that she's a valuable member of the order, yet they looked away from her....good thing she left.
In the battle between maul and ahsoka, whoever doesn't have the lightsabers is the victor. Ahsoka won when she was disarmed, and maul had the lightsabers. Now Maul won when he was disarmed, and Ahsoka had the lightsabers
@@varric Yeah that push was 100% dark side infused, that's the reason Ahsoka went flying. The fear and anger of almost dying probably amped Maul there.
Wait, so let’s see: -Maul’s VA is the same as Starkiller’s -Ahsoka UNLEASHES him to cause chaos as a diversion -Maul does so only using the Force, specifically the now-stronger Dark Side I guess you could say this whole arc was the canon version of the Force Unleashed
I dont blamed Maul for leaving Ahsoka She made it clear he's only a distraction to her and didn't even give him a lightsaber, Maul didn't need it but still
This is probably crazy, but I feel like this scene even makes up for one of the worst parts of the Last Jedi. By letting Maul get away to go back for Rex, Ahsoka showed what it really means to win by "not fighting what we hate, but saving what we love."
To be fair to Rey, Ahsoka had a lot more training and perspective and, overall, a better handle on her abilities. Ahsoka is also just less consumed by the Dark Side. Plus, I mean, she has Rex right there
There was no reason to stop Maul at this point jedi order was destroyed, war over so it's pretty obvious that she decided to save Rex instead capturing Maul because why to capture him now?
I don’t mind when the force can be considerably powerful like holding average sized shuttles away from escaping. In the comics, Han tries to step on Vader with an AT-AT foot and Vader stops it and basically rips most of the walker apart and those bitches are sturdy AND heavy duty. Thought Palpatine using force lightning on an entire fleet two miles away was too ridiculous tbh. Even if he’s arguably the strongest Sith I’m still meh on that. So far I like how they’ve utilized the force in canon. I just hope we never see it used to destroy planets or Dragon Ball Z bullshit.
0:58 This short quotation of the Imperial March just thrills me every time! The way the choir shouts it so violently makes it really heart-pounding, and supports the action perfectly. This is one of my favorite Imperial March cues anywhere in the Star Wars canon, up there with the one at the end of Attack of the Clones, the Executor's arrival at Hoth, the Executor's exit from the asteroid field, and Darth Vader's death.
That symbolisation of ahsoka letting go is perfect She is holding on to there one known way of escaping and surviving Her letting go here is representing her trusting that the force will guide them She truly is what all Jedi were supposed to be 💖
That scream that Maul did was almost EXACTLY like the one Starkiller had in Force Unleashed 2 when Vader tried to kill Juno (yeah I know both actors are the same but that happened to catch my ears)
The shuttle force pull is similar to the one in the sequels. However, this is different in so many ways. This feels deserved. Ahsoka earned this power. It doesn't feel forced. It feels... so good!
I think it's meant to be quite different. You're supposed to be sort of afraid of Rey in that scene. What she's doing isn't coming from the Light Side. Here, Ahsoka doesn't lose herself. She just wants to save herself and Rex.
Yes, Absoka earner her immense power throught many years of character development and appearences, she really deserves it, even if she's just 17, it shows what her potential is, she is one of a kind
"You wanted this chaos!", "Look what you made me do" starts immediately in my head, now I can't erase the picture of Maul dancing and singing in Taylor Swift's clothes.
She is not a real jedi. I know that Maul is very dangerous but a real jedi would NOT have do that, especially not after Maul warned her several times, tried to team up with her and gave her so many chances. Also Maul only did what Ahsoka told him, to start a chaos.. Ahsoka also didn't gave him a lightsaber, she wanted to see him dead. It's not Mauls fault that he is to strong for the clones.

Kylo Ren shows no remorse or any justification for being as bad as he is. Rey: there's still good in him! Let's give him a chance!

I think they didn’t. They had such confidence in her that they sent her to battle at just 14 years old. They figured she could keep up with the Chosen One out of the whole Order. Then they pretty much suggested knighting after she was found innocent just two to three years later.
The clones were going to crash, by stunning them he eliminated any chance of them escaping. Yes they were willing but if some wanted to escape then that's basically killing, just not directly

maul threw her like nothing
I cried when R7-A7 was shot
When she held the ship back with the force, I was literally squealing with excitement!
You should have accepted the team up Ashoka, Maul was willing to give ypou a lift, but no, you had to try to behead him.
He is still a Sith
Wolverine Ganda was
Wolverine Ganda No he isn’t. He’s a user of the dark side, not a Sith.
@Anakin Skywalker Yeah, Ahsoka screwed up there. Maul was perfectly willing to team up with her and I suspect he would have liked her to replace Savage. He's still grieving for him after all.
@@infinitygames9317 Maul is a sith. He still wears the title of dark.
I agree with Maul here, Ahsoka made it clear she didn't care about him when she released him. Maul's plan was originally to stop the turn of Vader so he has no guilt in their relationship. So to allow her to join him would be an unnecessary and stupid risk.
I mean he didn't care about her.
@@Salik96 She'd probably be his apprentice or partner by now if she just didn't ask what he wanted with Anakin
R7-A7.....we will never forget your sacrifice! Rest easy old friend!
I just love that millisecond of Maul holding his throat and then turning to flee, as if he was thinking; "Fuck that!"
Remember when those two inquisitors in rebels couldn’t hold a shuttle from flying off that was half the size of the one Ashoka did alone?
And there, Ahsoka is just 17
She is gifted tho
life its badass the Also the essence of the daughter enhanced her power
@@shoeman6966 she was gifted from the beggining tho, she was always a league above the others of her age, she became a padawan at 14, at 16 she was already offered the title of Jedi knight but she left, Obi Wan was 20 and something and was still a padawan
The daughter essence is just a big plus!
life its badass the I agree she was naturally gifted, but she I think we underestimate how much the daughter helped her.

„You wanted this chaos”
Maul did what anyone would do in order to survive.
And so did Ahsoka.
@@rosesweetcharlotte and Rex
In the battle between maul and ahsoka, whoever doesn't have the lightsabers is the victor. Ahsoka won when she was disarmed, and maul had the lightsabers. Now Maul won when he was disarmed, and Ahsoka had the lightsabers
1:21 "Not fighting what we hate, saving who we love."
The moment Rex told Ahsoka to leave him behind, she knew she could not.
Their relationship these past episodes was beautiful
1:34 I wish they could have had Maul flipping her off from the window
"YOU WANTED THIS CHAOS!!" ~ Maul
I love how maul literally just pushes ahsoka away
Love more the fact that Maul is touching his neck, fully aware of how close he was from losing his head.
@@varric Yeah that push was 100% dark side infused, that's the reason Ahsoka went flying. The fear and anger of almost dying probably amped Maul there.
Ahsoka: 1:13
Sam Witwer: You dare use my own spells against Me...
Maul: You wanted this chaos!
Ashoka: Well yes but actually no.
Ahsoka was so close to killing Maul. A few more inches and she would have decapitated him.
I love that Maul is fully aware of that, as he was touching his neck after that.
“That’s how we’re gonna win. Not fighting what we hate. Saving what we love.”
Wait, so let’s see:
-Maul’s VA is the same as Starkiller’s
-Ahsoka UNLEASHES him to cause chaos as a diversion
-Maul does so only using the Force, specifically the now-stronger Dark Side
I guess you could say this whole arc was the canon version of the Force Unleashed
Imagine if we didn't knew they both live. Thanks Rebels for taking from me one of the most intense moment of my favorite show :).
And yet it still managed to be tense and sort of scary
Thats not fucking rebels fault, you dipshit. How was Dave supposed to know TCW would get another season of episodes
New Star Wars fans: "YO! SHE PULLED A REY FROM TRoS!"
Me an intellectual: "Wow, she pulled a Starkiller from TFU"
Clearly you haven't read any of the books.
Yeah but she can actually afford doing it, Rey was just a Mary Sue
True fans: Wow, they make Rey and Starkiller pulled an Ahsoka!
So Mary Sue or Gary Stu. Take your pick.
When maul rubbed his neck after Ashoka missed , homie was really thinking "damn that could have been it"
I dont blamed Maul for leaving Ahsoka
She made it clear he's only a distraction to her and didn't even give him a lightsaber, Maul didn't need it but still
So much for the theory on the three of them leaving together. It would've been great if they did though.
I'm glad they showed Ahsoka holding a ship with the force, it makes what Rey did not seem so "special" and any powerful trained Jedi can do that.
RIP astro droids. They loyal to the end.
1:12 Maul: Let me go! Let me fly!
1:11 Ahsoka can do that because she has had a lot of jedi training. But Ray on the other hand... oh never mind We all know.
This is probably crazy, but I feel like this scene even makes up for one of the worst parts of the Last Jedi. By letting Maul get away to go back for Rex, Ahsoka showed what it really means to win by "not fighting what we hate, but saving what we love."
I wouldn't be surprised if Dave Filoni did that on purpose because he made a lot of parallels between season 7 of TCW and TLJ.
To be fair to Rey, Ahsoka had a lot more training and perspective and, overall, a better handle on her abilities. Ahsoka is also just less consumed by the Dark Side.
Plus, I mean, she has Rex right there
To be fair she got many killed for one man, so your saying she hates the resistance?
There was no reason to stop Maul at this point jedi order was destroyed, war over so it's pretty obvious that she decided to save Rex instead capturing Maul because why to capture him now?
Holy shit she was ACTUALLY RESTRAINING THAT SHUTTLE. On neutral ground, she probably woulda had it.
Ahsoka's crazy strong.
1:00 that music is awesome especially around 1:07
That symbolisation of ahsoka letting go is perfect
She is holding on to there one known way of escaping and surviving
Her letting go here is representing her trusting that the force will guide them
She truly is what all Jedi were supposed to be 💖

Maul when fighting with obi wan “you should have gone for the head”
That scream that Maul did was almost EXACTLY like the one Starkiller had in Force Unleashed 2 when Vader tried to kill Juno (yeah I know both actors are the same but that happened to catch my ears)
Ima trying to find the part where she throws the lightsabers and makes a hole like a badass
That really was a unique, smart AND powerful moment, not many Jedi could do that
That little garbage can droid saved Ahsoka's life when Maul force pushed her into that huge pit.

Maul told her the truth, SEVERAL times. He tried to team up with her, SEVERAL times and he had many chances to kill her during the fight. When she captured him, Maul only wanted to die. He was so afraid ! She should had listen to him at this moment.
Ahsokas arrogance is the reason why she is in this situation.

Love how rex was only using stun, he couldn't bring himself to kill his brothers
The Jedi order underestimated Ahsoka's use of the force.
I think they didn’t. They had such confidence in her that they sent her to battle at just 14 years old. They figured she could keep up with the Chosen One out of the whole Order. Then they pretty much suggested knighting after she was found innocent just two to three years later.
*Ahsoka stop him*
Maul: Holy! come on your angry!!
Ahsoka: Shut up.
Maul: WHERE ARE YOU LIGHTING!?
See, Rex even put his guns on stuns to not kill his brothers
Now when did we want that to happen
The clones were going to crash, by stunning them he eliminated any chance of them escaping. Yes they were willing but if some wanted to escape then that's basically killing, just not directly
Imagine how intense it would be if Rebels didn’t exist...
The brief oh fuck as he dodged her Saber there.
Ahsoka is able to do what Anakin never could- let go. She could probably crush Maul in that cruiser, but dealing with him would mean abandoning Rex to fight the Clones. She makes the hard choice to save her friend.
