Chain is backwards but fuel lines are correct. Whichever holes in the saw you use, fuel is drawn through the carb, from the fuel tank; pulled by suction from the primer(pump), from the bottom nipple on the carb-then retuned to the tank for the outlet of the primer (pump).

That's not a primer bulb, it's a purge bulb,. It removes air from the system. Does not prime the system

you can simply drill the holes out to a larger diameter if running larger fuel lines ;)

Couldn't trust your fuel line routing after realizing the chain was installed backwards, went elsewhere to figure it out. I have the same saw, turns out your lines are correct lol got my saw was completely missing the tank return line somehow.

Actually, the lines like the chain are backwards. The fuel filter line is on the left closest to the fuel cap. Honestly, there are too many TH-cam videos on this topic and only maybe 50% of them get it right. Even watched one where a supposedly "experienced" small engine mechanic put the fuel filter on the return line.

Ethanol does not damage fuel lines, fool. The very proof of this is in the liquor aisle at WalMart. Vodka bottles made of cheap plastic. Do the bottles ever rot? No, they don't. Bottles of fine wine aged over a decade. Does the ethanol ever go bad there? No, it doesn't. You will see stickers or instruction manuals that say 10% ethanol is acceptable. What you will never be told is that there is no such thing as a 10% ethanol resistant fuel line. It doesn't exist. No rubber, polymer, synthetic or composite material in the world tolerates 10% ethanol by concentration but rapidly deteriorates at 11% ethanol. The damage comes from all the volatile organic compounds added to the gasoline. The same VOC's used in paint thinner and has earned a slang term abbreviation known as BTEX. Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene. This chemical cocktail is in ethanol free gasoline as well but not to the same concentration. That's why ethanol free gasoline is clear where as E10 is yellow. Ethanol is clear so that is not what is causing the discoloration. Whatever harm it causes is all blamed on ethanol and you are none the wiser for believing it. I don't know what kind of car you have but try this. Ask the manufacturer if the fuel system is BTEX approved. Tell me this. How is Argentina or Brazil able to run all engines big or small on 90% ethanol or greater but America, the greatest?!?!?!? cunt tree in the world so far behind the rest of the world in alternative energy technology?

BCtruck, BC Blades Wow! ANYBODY can make these videos I guess! The line going from the PURGE bulb (not primer- primer bulbs are the ones mounted ON the carb that PUSH the fuel through) is simply a return line. He says it’s so a vacuum doesn’t form, but that’s what a purge bulb does, it forms a vacuum that sucks, not pushes, the fuel through the carb. I guess if he runs the fuel through the carb backwards, the engine will run in reverse rotation, and the chain will work as mounted! Ha! It’s on TH-cam, it HAS to work! LOL!
