TB685 has 3 lines. Two short and one long. One of the short has a tab and other does not. I think one of them has letter on it IN and the long one P.. but came here trying to figure out how it works.. trying to figure out why its sticking. It seems like its pumping backwards to me.. but im not sure whats going on. It worked fine one season.. then sat for a long time and now it wont get any gas. Pulled the carburator off and squirted wd40 thru it.. seems like the lines are not clogged but.. cant figure out why it doesn't work.
finely some one knows how to explain shit i watcht over 300 vidios B4 i found ol t bone to show it and teach it the right way well aleast for me im sure there others that learn buy chasing cats or kicken dogs but you did it life is good again thank you so much im out over 10 4
T-Bone, you got right to the matter at hand.. No unnecessary talking. Straight to the point! Which keeps the video short. Thanks, this really help me. Looking forward to other videos as simple as this one.
Great video. I took my Husqvarna 345FX to a shop because it would start after priming and then die 15 seconds later. The dealer promptly put in a carb rebuild kit and 15 days later gave it back saying they couldn't figure out what was wrong. I watched this, moved some hoses and now it runs like a champ! Thanks
Wow close to 11k. Subscribers it seems like just last week u had hit 1K subscribers. I knew your channel would take off. Great Great Great channel. Thanks 🙏 4 sharing with us. Thanks Mr & Mrs T Bone
You have some good informative videos. Thank you so much. You tell it in a simple and easy to understand way. Even a woman can understand. Thank you again.
Good diagram i can understand. I almost threw my saw out thinking its buggered. I put new fuel lines in and clearly no fuel in the clear lines,no matter how many times i primed. I've got the line from the tank in the wrong place. Thank you for the vid
I know I just cranked one I picked up off the side the road must have been left in sun.Was only fuel line issues and he just chunked it. Makes me scratch my head how folks just throw good stuff away
That is a Good way to remember . I remember it by a song . I figure the fuel tank is home for the fuel , So that song Take the long way home is how i remember.
What is the proper fit, of hole size in tank, to the diameter of line, for no leaks. For example: do they need to be the same size, to get proper squeeze on the fuel line.
the many times i've heard, *"Think Simple"* ... i'm reminded again. *Thanks!* : } 1:09 Couldn't get chainsaw started; Now i know hadn't installed Fuel line backwards. _Stolen before chance to fix._ {{sigh}}
Great video Raley!🎉 i was wondering how to replace a red check valve that goes directly below the priming bulb. On a different midel than the all in one you hace in this video.
I screwed this up the other day, but I extra screwed it. The fuel lines were all broken when I got to it so I guessed. I thought the primer was supposed to pump gas into the carb, not purge it. I don't recall if I switched the inlet and outlet on the carb too. I figured it was wrong when gas started spilling out the front of the carb when priming it.
I've been asking for a while and a 1/2. On leave my bubble split. Can you just take the rubber bubble apart from the from the little housing with the of where the line took up and put it back together? Because I did not have the whole piece with the bubble and a little plastic purge about whatever the nipples on it for the line. They don't have to hold peace and I got the bubbles and I need my saw running first thing in the morning. In any device how to show a video how to take it apart without breaking the plastic piece
I always went with long pipe out of the Carb into long fitting of the purge short pipe out of the Carb short fitting of the purge. Long/Long-Short/Short.. Less than three second tutorial.

Great tip guys. You have earned another subscriber
Awesome, thank you 😊
is a chainsaw different though I know when you pump them it builds up pressure in the tank
it works the same
the many times i've heard, *"Think Simple"* ... i'm reminded again. *Thanks!* : }

Great video Raley!🎉 i was wondering how to replace a red check valve that goes directly below the priming bulb. On a different midel than the all in one you hace in this video.
THANK YOU FOF YOUR HELP
Very informative,
Question I know the route with bulb but how do you know what’s in and out on the carb itself thanks
It will only flow one way as long as the fuel pump diaphragm is working properly and not worn out. It's simply a one way valve
Do you have any 2 stroke repair videos? Especially carb daignosis and rebeuilding?
o yeah b4 i go you got my vote
Thank YOU!
Thats cool i alway said short is suckion
Thank you!! Exactly what I needed

I like Chickanic’s saying better..
“SHORT ONE SUCKS, LONG ONE BLOWS”!
😂 weird how it’s always the dirty stuff that’s easiest remember 🤷♂️
Well, looks like I’m taking another look at a chainsaw project I previously gave up on when I get home….
Thank you
I have a carb when you purge it gas comes out the carb how do I fix it????🙏
but which way do the lines go on the carb? Mine has the adjustment screws on top for reference so does fuel go into the bottom or top of carb?
I wondered the same thing. How do you know which line goes where on carb.
My purge bulb has 3 hose connections. Please help.
👍🏾
2:40 *TIP There's also a tiny "IN" molded onto the part next to the respective nipple.*
True but often you won't find this on a replacement part. lf your old primer bulb has previously been replaced, it won't help.
❤
I forgot, so I'm back
It will purge only if you have a full tank
You know your a Mechanic
WHEN YOU SPRAY WD40

take the long way home
I got an easier trick and you'll never forget it don't listen to this guy it's much easier save yourself the headache
All this time to just say Long returns to the carb!! Pull it out? That's just plain stupid!!
Short sucks
I always went with long pipe out of the Carb into long fitting of the purge short pipe out of the Carb short fitting of the purge.
Long/Long-Short/Short..
Less than three second tutorial.
