22:07 first off I am 64. I absolutely love how steady and methodical your workouts are. I appreciate that you give instruction on exactly where my arms need to be for each lift. You remind us to not use momentum during the workout. I caused an injury in my shoulder because I was not doing my workouts correctly. I currently am using 5 to 8 pound dumbbells. My goal is to get up to 10 pounds. Thank you so much for your style of workouts.

doing this workout with 10 lbs dumbells is no joke
I actually have to switch between 10lbs and 8lbs because my shoulders are not strong enough yet and I have some arthritis in them.

This is really nice. I did it with 2lbs dumbbells at home cause i'm a beginner and i still had energy at the end of it. It felt like i was in the gym, you are such a great instructor. I loved the workout also 💜

I really like these 15/20 minute workouts. I can bind them with other workouts. In fact this morning, I combined this with your booty and ab workout. Perfect. 50 minute workout.
The spacing is perfect on these videos and the 2 supersets for each set of exercise is perfect. The 20 minute format makes working out every day really accessible and attainable. I enjoyed this one and the upper body video from the same instructor. Will look at more.

I usually can make it surprisingly ok through arm workouts despite my arms being super weak (I guess the weights I use are pretty laughable haha), but this one was a killer. Love when a workout has new to me moves!

I have been doing this workout for a month now ( 3 times per week with a 10lb dumbbell) and I can see my arms getting toned. At the beginning I struggled a lot because I have never been able to use this amount of weight, but I tried. The arm raises were the worst. A month has passed and I can do the work out without a struggle. Now I have a problem. I need to buy heavier dumbbells. Thank you Maddie you are making me the fittest I've ever been. I algo combine this workout with the sample of the App for hamstrings and booty here on TH-cam and it's sooo amazing.
Update. 4 months doing this workout with a variation ( I do now 4 sets have a little more time to rest, changed the tricep extension for bench dips, and included several back workouts). My arms are getting bigger and I'm loving them.
Update 5 months doing this workout as a skeleton to my routine. I do variations in the exercise but follow the same time for the sets and the resting period. My arms are toned, I can't see much difference because I have the same 10 pound dumbbells since the beggining
Update 6 months doing this workout 3 times a week!! Still gaining a bit of muscle and with exercise variations
This workout was great . I just finished it. I used 7lbs and alternating with 5 lbs dumbbells depending on the difficulty of the workout sets and it worked great.

Love your channel! I'm so happy I can stay somewhat active while I recover from a knee sprain. I'm wondering if you'd ever consider a series of workouts for people who might not be able to do a typical lower body workout while they recover from a strain, broken leg, etc. I realize rest is very important to help recover from an injury but I also think keeping to a routine that includes some type of movement does help keep the body strong and healthy. I don't see too many workouts out in YT land but so happy to see this video today. Thank you!
Agreed! Currently can't do much with one of my legs so looking for workouts that don't involve them. Looking forward to trying this one later.
Starting upper body workouts with weights again after almost a year of none. Used 5-lb weights for the 1st rep, 3-lb weights for the 2nd rep. Hope to increase. Thank you, Maddy, for your workouts! 🩵

Great workout!! I really love this arm workout and I can see it becoming one of my favourite ones to do as I prefer standing arms. I used 8 lbs which was a good challenging but doable weight for me. Going to do it with 8 lbs a few more times before I try to work up to 10 lbs.
