Mr. Ren is an amazing CEO that speaks from his heart and know what he is talking about. The journalist does not even know about US laws that put company on Ban list and if that is the case, how are you suppose to do business in the US.
US is shooting itself on its on foot and going to miss the future market potential of 1.4 billions people plus another 5 billions people around the world when Huawei and China replace all US made goods around the world.

CEO of exaggerated modesty, a far cry from the haughty taught top executives and politicians too often seen interviewed.
Ren's answers were surgically precise, thought provoking and inspiring, I can't help feeling that its all thanks to his clear, focused and far sighted vision that Huawei has got to where it is today. How else can a man made redundant built the biggest world beating telecom company in less than 4 decades. The amount of start up capital he had was only enough for me to buy a Ford Cortina as I did in England that year. I remember the photo of Deng Xiaoping sticking up a finger to signal 1 million PLA soldiers to be made redundant soon after the Vietnam skirmish. If Mr. Ren was among the million, then thank you Mr Deng for making Ren redundant to give us 5G today.

This reporter's interview skills is quiet good, but her dismissive attitude is annoying and totally unwarranted.
In 30 years this man built a tech powerhouse out of nowhere. He is a businessman, not a politician. You should show interest to his answer and listen to his side of story. Otherwise why bother, just repeat what US government spin out.
For all the interviews Mr. Ren took, the two reporters with Asian background both have bad attitude, with the one from CNBC by far the worst. The other interviews were done respectfully, especially the one done by Financial Times, which was done by three fluent Chinese speakers.
