Udupi is the name of a place in coastal Karnataka (you should check out coastal Karnataka by the way - Mangalore, Gokarna, Om beach etc). This place is associated with Southern Indian cuisine like idlis and dosas. So, this name has become synonymous with this type of cuisine.
Bengaluru has the largest number of expats in India. After Delhi, it is the most internationally connected city. Gurgaon/NOIDA (near Delhi), Pune and Hyderabad cities are also becoming increasingly great for expats. Generally peninsular India and Himalayan/north East Indian cities are safer and less polluted. Densely populated gangetic plains, central India, desert state of Rajasthan, eastern mining states are underdeveloped, have much lower PCI/HDI and can be dangerous with increased crime. These states have half to a quarter of the PCI of the peninsular states. Telangana , a southern state, of which Hyderabad City is the capital is the richest large state in India with a PCI exceeding $4500 and growing rapidly still, mainly due to explosive growth in Hyderabad infrastructure and job prospects.
Thanks so much for the great information. I was in Gangtok for 3 months, so I got to see some of sikkim and West Bengal. I am very interested in Hyderabad and in Pune
i think there are more fanciner mall in mumbai. if you ever come to mumbai, then visit jio bkc drive which is far more fancier and bigger than this one. avoid delhi and agra(tajmahal) because there is not much to see except extreme chaos pune is preety good and its like modern version of mysore so give it a try for best food visit indore and amritsar(chaotic but beautiful).
Wow, thanks! So, on my next trip to India, I was thinking of checking out Kerala, but I was also thinking of flying to Mumbai. I have a friend who has an MMA club there. Then spending a few days and basing in Pune. I am really interested in Pune.
@@rebornabroad mumbai experience preety much depends on where you go there, it is most luxurious and giant city of india and at the same time it can be very exhausting if you visit to certain parts But to give you a picture, mumbai is the most unconstruction city on the planet, and it's not artificial, robotic communist like Shanghai because it's growing very naturally and unorganised way. Well india is chaotic place but I think thats what makes south east asia and india different than China which is clean,no chaos, soulless, artificial and robotic.

I was in India for 6 months. The trick is 2nd tier cities. Of the first tier, Bangalore is the most comfortable, but Mysore, Pune, Kochi, etc, are definitely more chill. The Deep South or the Himalayas are the best places to start. Avoid the north and the plains. The culture is very different from state to state.
@@rebornabroad agree but when it comes to first tier there are some exception like mumbai and haiderabad. the problem is some part of these cities are definitely chaotic but nothing like delhi and agra which are worst cities in india. mumbai is defenitely future city of india because amount of luxury which is coming to mumbai will beat dubai, singapoor and Bangkok in next one decade because its city with most billioners in asia and at the same time its capital of bollywood so keep an eye on future mumbai but for now its less organized and bit chaotic
Clearly, you're kind of stupid, so I will explain for you. It's shoeing the difference from what you hear vs. what is true, but since we are actually going to have this conversation, nowhere in the west even comes close to the level of deprivation that exists in India. Not even close. The I come inequality in India is worse than even southeast Asia m. So even though that's not the point of the videos intro since you want to go there fine. There are no massive slums with hundreds of thousands of people in the west. Even our bad areas are better than a lot of your cities. So, instead of crying like a little girl on my comments, take a hard look at YOUR society. That being said, I love India. No place is perfect, but if the West is so bad, how come so many of your countrymen are lining up to get in???? You still have the caste system. Spare me your moral indignation. 🤡
@@rebornabroadIt seems you are brain washed ....I have seen many videos regarding Philadelphia 😂 ( worse than African cities ) ...let you know India poverty is 14% not 7 %
I didn't find it to be so bad, but again, I was there for a superficial amount of time. I found the people to warm and the infrastructure to not be so bad. Obviously still developing, but considering the size.

Do visit Church street, UB city mall, Jayanagar 4th Block Shopping complex. I guess these are good places in Bangalore to visit.
Wow, thank you 😊 🙏🏻 I spent 3 months in Mysore and 3 months in Gangtok. I will 💯 return to India. Loved it.

Pizza Bakery is a descent place to go to for pizzas.
🙏🏻 Sahids in Mysore were very good.
@@rebornabroad Also try SAPA Bakery if you go to Mysore the next time.
Only 2% of India is middle-class, 1% rich. 97% poverty.

You are checking old data. At present 15% of Indians live below the poverty line with extreme poverty at 0.7%.
It's not my data it's clips from dw. The idea is what you heard about india vs reality.
@@rebornabroad Got your point but I presented to you the World Bank's and IMF data. Also 400mn people were pulled out of poverty in the last 15 years.
Why did you start your vedio with poverty? As if there is no poverty in western countries 😂
Poverty and drugs are rampant in western countries.

It's ok he's just jealous that his own city is nt this beautiful as our bangaluru is . That's jealous coming out .
I liked it. I haven't been to other cities of that Tier, but I liked Bangalore if I had to choose a large mega city I'd choose it.
bangalore or bengal-uru? a place which bengal might claim as theirs...name change mongering indeeeyaaa
It's confusing, but I noticed people use them interchangeably so not so hard, and words are easier to pronounce than Southeast Asia.
It's Bengaluru
