The Himalayan regions are really stunning. I only saw West Bengal, Sikkim, and Karnataka, but 💯 I will be back. I'd like to spend time in Kerala and Pune next time.
@@rebornabroad I've seen the Himalayan tracks on Baldr's video's they are amazing and knew India had many beautiful places like this. This is just a city you would love to visit for a day for sure!
They need to build some extra buildings to park all those cars and free up the lanes. It would be cool of they can build dedicated biking lanes - would be cool for cardio. By the way roughly 8 rupees = 10 cents.
@ yeah. What I like about India is what you see is what you get unlike let’s say China, where everything including food is so much of a fake. I recommend that you visit Aizawl in the state of Mizoram as well - a paradise as well.
Definitely agree. I also like that even if it's an imperfect democracy at least it's a democracy. I think india is a good ally for the West. I enjoyed my time in India.
@@rebornabroad no democracy anywhere is perfect, imo. Corruption always exists. The people to people relationships between the west and India make them strong allies. If you want a bit of Tibetan influence, visit Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, yet another nearby state, though you may need permits to enter. Shillong in Meghalaya state is another city worth visiting.
Reposting to clarify. I'm a white male born US citizen 55 years old with a professional background in Sales and Business Development. I speak the part and look the part being a larger man with a bit of grey around the ears. Some would say distinguished with a presence that would call for respect. I do not say that to sound arrogant or better than, only to clarify. I never finished college, nor do I have a tefl. Looking at many factors, MONEY, quality of life, access to golf, etc my goal is to teach english abroad with mature students or business professionals. Your business/services i would be interested in. My goal is to obtain my tefl by March. Your comments and thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks Tony

Glad you are enjoying it
Beautiful location, this shows the complete opposite side of the main cities in India!

Horlicks is a British malt drink. Like hot chocolate but it is malty-y. Designed as a bedtime drink. Not sure it would be your cup of tea!
I'd have to try it can say I ever have. Is it good?
There's another casino at the Mayfair Hotel, Gangtok which I'm not sure you visited but just a fun fact.
I know the one on MG Marg. I miss gangtok already 😢 ❤️. I have dreams about Himalayan breakfast still.
Very cool 👍
Thanks!
Nice 👍

That would be cool. Going up those hills will be crazy cardio. Even walking up them is no joke
