Yes! I’m mind blow at the idea of using a griddle! Soooo smart!! I use my pull down heat press to cure (hovering it 1inch above) and it takes forever (ok longer than I like!)
I love watching your videos, CrystalAnn! I love how you present yourself and how easy it is to understand what's going on. You're where i turn to first to figure out crafty things. Also, I hope you don't mind me saying, but you look great! I've been on a weight loss journey for the last couple months and have noticed your changes. I know it's a lot of hard work! Great job!
Thank you so much!! ❤️ I appreciate that its definitely not easy my journey started with medical issues. My number one tip is protein protein protein if you can drink a premier protein shake a day that is 30 grams you need 60 each day I like the cafe latte ones thats my coffee for the day my daughter likes the chocolate. I eat rotisserie chicken, tuna, cottage cheese and everything sugar free ❤️ Good luck and you got this!!
I don't know how I missed this tutorial but I'm here now and freaking love those designs and that glitter bag is beautiful!!! Thank you for another fantastic tutorial!!!!!
Love your videos, when you did the griddle, I ran out & bought it, loved it, now I ran out and bought a heat gun, works great, between the two they both work great. To me the griddle is faster but the heat gun seems more convenient, btw doubt I’ll be buying an oven but would love to see your video how it works. Thanks for the tips
Great video and Great job with the heat gun. Yes, you get a little buckle with the heat gun but it still looks amazing. I will have to try the glitter film. Thanks and have a great day.
I’m definitely going to attempt! Thanks again! Also I get wheel marks from the sawgrass printer. But when I dtf hack, I go through the heating steps, before pressing I remove the marks.
Hi CrystalAnn, Awesome video love that you can use your heatgun brilliant!!! T-shirts look amazing thank you so much teaching us all The DTF hacks! Would liike to see ayou do a coffee mug please!!!! Hugs Liz x
Hello, Cristal Ann, you are delightful. Great videos. Can you tell me what could possibly be causing the yellowing around my design when I sublimate on white cotton T-shsirts? I use all the same materials as many other people and the heat and time that you recommended. It is so frustrating.😒
Hi you said we can use an inkjet printer if we use pigment ink. What kind of paper would I use for this? Regular paper? Or would I have to still use sublimation paper? Thank you!
I'd like to see if after coloring on a BW coloring sheet (printed on sublimation paper) using Infusable markers, can it be heat pressed on easy subli vinyl on a dark cotton shirt?
With the inkjet you can wash black designs as the ink is pigment ink and the color design need to be on items that dont get washed like a tote bag im currently testing a pigment inkjet printer
I've confused. Are you saying not use on a washable item that it will come out? I ordered DTF and hope it will stay on. Love your videos. Your explanations are great and you have a pleasant speaking voice.
You made my day Thank you so much! when it comes to inkjet if your printer has dye ink the color will wash out if your printer has pigment ink the color will stay. you can do a quick google research to see what ink is in your printer ❤️
I have 2 questions. First I'm using the same film and powder you have and mine is coming out grainy even when pressed on the shirt. Also is it possible to do large split designs with the hack
Ohhhh I bet you could do that I need to try. As for the grainy is it the Yamation powder? I noticed that too but it’s not a smooth as the one I normally use I bet if you lay parchment back on. And press for 2 seconds it should smooth
Would love to see the dtf hack on darker colors like black and royal blue thank you...I really enjoy your videos. I do have a quetion,..I have noticed that you use parchment paper in your videos,,,is that good to use or butcher paper? I have seen both used, which is better, currently I use butcher paper..thank you.
Using an Epson printer and wheel My lines are up and down of the image about an inch apart. Towards the bottom of the image it looks like the image is melting. On another video one girl said to play with the density settings and it has helped but still has some wheel marks.
I have seen two different videos from you with different times to press. If I have Yam DTF (not glitter), what is the time and temp I should cure at and then press at? Thanks Crystal Ann!
Super helpful. But I really need a suggestion (anyone in here can suggest), this same Dtf hack works better with sublimation printer or Inkjet printer? As I am planning to use this hack, but unable to decide whether to get a sublimation printer or a six colour inkjet will be better. Thanks in advance.
Yesss Crystal, they came out amazing 🤩 I’ve been busy with this dtf hack (thanks to you) and my shirts have been coming out awesome ❤❤ you’re awesome. I’m soo going to get the glitter one to try it out 😊 I’m sooo hyped just like you 🤣 my hubs like girl calm down 😂 my question is if it works on glass. I’m getting some early Christmas gifts ready (I know I’m crazy 😂). Can’t wait to see more videos from you ❤❤❤ stay blessed love 🥰
Can you do a video of dtf on a sweat jacket. We were working on some tonight, and they did not want to peel off. We were using the offnova paper and power. Can you help us.
Can we try dtf hack on dark materials? which vinyls are best to use, or can you use holographic, or flock? If you're covering a large area, how do you make it so it doesn't feel rubbery or stiff?
large areas with the vinyl will for sure be more bulky I wouldn’t recommend so i would stick to lighter colors so you don't have to layer on HTV. I use siser easyweed I haven't tried holographic or flock just yet
Help! My first ones with offnova came out great now all of a sudden I’m getting the splotchy/patching but mainly just on my gray! Is it a curing issue? Curing at 320 for 180 seconds- per another TH-cam I watched! Maybe I’m doing it allllll wrong!
They turned out great! I've tried this hack several months ago but used my inkjet printer by mistake which does work. I just used the wrong design. My design was vintage and it worked for the most part. There were fine lines/words where the ink didn't hold onto the adhesive well. I tried again with sublimation ink and a different design and it turned out great. I mistakenly used the wrong size t-shirt this time so couldn't wear and didn't do a wash test. I donated it to our local Goodwill. What brand t-shirt are you wearing because link doesn't take you to a specific shirt? I love that it isn't really long. Is it women's' or unisex? I like Bella Canvas but they are just way too long for my liking and most unisex tees are. It would be great if t-shirts could be chosen by length like when buying pants (petite, average, long). I know that is wishful thinking.
The wheel marks come thru the entire print on my epson. My fix for this after curing I will scrap off the marks that are not affected the print. But I've changed my settings for a paper it made it better
I made an offset in Cricut Design space? Just making sure I'm answering your question correctly is this what you are asking about the white layer with no color?
Question on your heat tape? What brand do you use? I used the tape that came with my heat tape dispenser that cuts for you as you turn the handle. And it has left yellow marks on my projects. 😢
I was wondering: Can you bleach a 100% dark (black)tshirt and dan sublimate on it with the dtf hack. And i mean make a stencel, bleach only the part you "sublimate" on.
Do you put yours in the dryer? I have been using the OFFNOVA DTF sheets but when I put it in the dryer, it got all stuck together and was ruined. It was a dark t-shirt, where I had to put the white HTVront Heat transfer vinyl under first. I've been afraid to put my other shirts in the dryer now and has made me stop making shirts with DTF sheets due to the inconvenience, as it's hard to remember to not put it in the dryer when you have a pile of clothes. If it was a fluke that it got stuck together let me know. I'd love to able to make more shirts this way. PS I can't put my dryer on low heat as the dial is broken, so it's on the default setting permanently. Thanks for your advice in advance. Also, my white shirts that didn't need a layer of htv first, I've been afraid to put in the dryer to see if it's actually due to the htv layer plus dtf powder that makes it stick.
I tried the dtf hack. Used HTV RONT DTF Transfer film, the white powder in the jar from this video, HP 7740 all inks are pigment, and cured at 350. The color doesn't stay true. It ends up like a distressed image even though all the ink released from the film. What did I do wrong?
@@YouCanTotallyMakeThat yes I found a video I’m going to try it tomorrow. Taking out some of the pizza wheels. It has to be that because it drags it in one spot every time.

Back again Crystal. I was also curious if could put a really fine glitter in the powder and it work?
thats so smart with a poly glitter I must test this out
I’m definitely going to attempt! Thanks again! Also I get wheel marks from the sawgrass printer. But when I dtf hack, I go through the heating steps, before pressing I remove the marks.
Same If I get any sort of issue I remove by cutting away the film or a wet q-tip. I have also found if my design is not centered I will have smearing
Also, if doing inkjet with pigment ink, is it hot peel or cold? Thank you again
Yoi are awesome. Can you please try do a tumbler wrap with it

Yay, thanks.
i have added glitter to my dtf power and it works well it has to be added to the power not just sprinkled on

I have the same problem. What printer and ink is everyone using.
Does this feel like vinyl or more like sublimation? Would I use sublimation ink or my ink jet printer for my designs
