President Mugabe is completely right that, Mwalimu has not received adequate honours in Africa for his invaluable contribution and commitment to the liberation struggles in the continent, and that something should be done to change that. I hope he will be able to make that happen during his mandatory period as the Chairman of the AU. Great initiative by the President!

tanzanian leaders hesitate to honour nyerere in words and in action, becoz wat they have done to this country is contrary to nyerere's teachings

    "The late President Robert Mgabe,
He has a great regarcy towards his Altitude about African continent during his lifetime as a President of Zimbabwe.
But The problem of President Mgabe was how he ended his leadership apart from the propaganda and the challenges he faced from Western Countries that were totally against him,
But he was among African Presidents who fought for African continent affairs"
"Once upon a time I remember " president Barack Obama when he was Addressing The African union summit he said that " There is no President for lifetime"
But every human being has his/ her own weakness,
    But President Robert Mugabe,
He was a true friend of the United Republic of Tanzania,
Has he real appreciated what Mwl Jk Nyerere and all Tanzania people did contributed to the Independence of many African countries, and his struggle towards the liberation of African continent from Colonialism"
May his soul rest in eternal peace 🙏

Wouldn't it have been a better tribute to Nyerere to follow his example... and step down from power rather than be forced out of it? Just Saying

YOU ARE BLIND,VERY BLIND. HE WENT TO WAR TO LIBERATE ZIM AND NOT ONLY DID HE LIBERATE ZIM, HE WENT ON TO GIVE BACK LAND TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS... WHO IN AFRICA DID THAT. COME ON BRO OPEN YOUR EYES AND DONT BE BLINDED BY COLONISERS TO DENIGRATE GREAT AFRICAN LEADERS LIKE MUGABE. HE IS BY FAR BETTER THAN SELLOUTS LIKE MANDELA.

The breadbasket of Africa destroyed by this person, he did not learn from Mwalimu on how to unite all of the different tribes.
Very few leaders on this planet like Mwalimu.
