PRESIDENT ROBERT MUGABE PAYS TRIBUTE TO MWL NYERERE

Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe showered praise on the Late Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, Tanzania's first President for his role in the the liberation struggle of Southern African States saying that little has been done to recognize Nyerere's contribution.

President Mugabe is completely right that, Mwalimu has not received adequate honours in Africa for his invaluable contribution and commitment to the liberation struggles in the continent, and that something should be done to change that. I hope he will be able to make that happen during his mandatory period as the Chairman of the AU. Great initiative by the President!
