I finally got a nice day and was able to replace the piece. This video was spot on and removing that first tubing piece made everything so much easier. I have one question for you. When I took the green piece off the sensor it came off VERY easily. I can push the middle of the green piece down and hear a click. Then put the sensor back in and hear another click. But the green piece comes out easily no matter what. Is this normal? It seems like the two pieces should stick together better and might be the real source of the error code.
That's what I mean actually. I can hear the clicks but the green piece can be removed with very little force always. It is never "locked" onto the sensor enough that very slight pull will not remove it. Basically it is being held on by friction.

Hi, I changed my bank 1 cam sensor a couple days ago and it started running good but when I took a drive to the grocery store it suddenly stalled. Could this be that they sold me a faulty sensor?
Jose Gonzalez So either you have the Veraval valves cam sensor unplugged or the engine has very dirty and low engine oil. I would recommend changing the oil and then driving again
Sad but true. But I guess if that's all one could afford to alleviate the issue to quickly get back on the road, their parts work for that. The sensor for bank 1 on the 3.5 engine at Autozone was $105. I can't imagine what they want for the OEM part. I plan to get the OEM one but for now problem solved. I learned this lesson when I bought a throttle position sensor for my '95 Jetta with the 2.8 VR6. It lasted about a year before the check engine code came back.
How to Automotive Thanks for that. I have 3months old spark plugs. My mechanic thought it was a gas filter problem but he then said my car doesnt have a gas filter. He has me treating the gas with seafoam when I fill up.
TATYANA FIDDIS I would suspect it’s still miss firing. Maybe get the codes pulled to try to determine which one is causing the problem. It could be an injector. Also if the engine oil is low it will affect timing on this engine so make sure the Engine oil is full and clean.

I need to know where the Oxygen sensor Bank 2 sensor 2 is
Did u find out
So bank 1 sensor is behind the engine and bank 2 is on the side of it?
Bank 2 is front of engine ...yes!
Thank you for the video
Ayuda please mi carro es altima 2013 donde está el code PO114 camshaft
I have to replace both the cam and crank sensors on my 2003 Nissan Maxima also. Where did you buy yours from? Thanks alot
sergio ruvalcaba I work at a shop and I got mine through a company called worldpack I do have I affiliate links for the parts in the description of the video.
He's asking about the Maxima. Unless they are universal, which ones would a Maxima use? They appear to be Infiniti/Nissan only, but I just want to make sure they will work for a Maxima.
I am having such a tough time getting the connector to release from bank 1 sensor.
My Nissan quest 2007 crank but it doesn't start I need help it just happened today
Camshaft sener try that first then have someone put it on a computer and run it for any code...
Hi, I changed my bank 1 cam sensor a couple days ago and it started running good but when I took a drive to the grocery store it suddenly stalled. Could this be that they sold me a faulty sensor?
Look into your crank shaft sensor
Was it code p0345 same thing happened on my mom's 2003. Replaced and still stalled?
Is there only 2 sensors?
there's 3 sensors. two up top as per video and one underneath the engine next to the oil pan, which is the crank sensor
Which one is bank 1?
Great video
brandon mireles thank you!
I replaced my bank sensor A but my check engine light is still on and now my car vibrates like it wants to shut off
Jose Gonzalez sounds like you had a misfire. I would re-pull the code and go from there. Also go back over your work maybe something got disconnected
I scanned it again and I still have the P0340 and now it says I have a P0011
Jose Gonzalez So either you have the Veraval valves cam sensor unplugged or the engine has very dirty and low engine oil. I would recommend changing the oil and then driving again
Jose Gonzalez and don’t forget to clear the codes again
Okay will do thank you for your advice really appreciated
Aftermarket sensor won’t work for Nissan-you have to get the part from dealership
The AutoZone parts May work for a little bit but they fry out quickly
Sad but true. But I guess if that's all one could afford to alleviate the issue to quickly get back on the road, their parts work for that. The sensor for bank 1 on the 3.5 engine at Autozone was $105. I can't imagine what they want for the OEM part. I plan to get the OEM one but for now problem solved.
I learned this lesson when I bought a throttle position sensor for my '95 Jetta with the 2.8 VR6. It lasted about a year before the check engine code came back.
DJ Nati Actually it was $110 at the Stealership, I was shocked
What happen if sensor got oil on
Oil won’t affect how it works. If the oil is leaking out past the O-ring that’s a different story and you want to repair the O-ring.
Yes I pull the sensor out last night and it is oil all over the sensor
Please help!! Need advice
Same for 07?
Rocky Espinosa if it has the 3.5L engine it’s the same.
My 2010 Altima jerks a bit sometimes. It gets worst the lower the gas is..
TATYANA FIDDIS I would suspect a misfire. Bad spark plug coil.
How to Automotive thank you.
thank you man
Thank you!
Thank you
Tajudeen Kareem thank you for watching!
My 2005 nissan altima 3.5L wont start... it just shut off while driving, noshaking, no noise nothing. Just shut off. Its sat for a little under a year and now I'm trying to fix it. I've change my crank position sensor thinking that could be the issue. Someone played with my fuses and the fuel pump wasnt getting any power. I've fixed the fuses and now it's got power still no crank. Should I check the sensors??? I have no computer to read codes
pistol Paige sorry your having car trouble. Without scan tools and lab scopes there’s no way for you to test the sensors. They are a common failure and you may want to replace them.
