Everything trivium does is fire. Shogun is an incredible album. But every album is so different they all shine in their own rights. The sin and the sentence will make you dookie. Hope you do more.
Thank you for introducing me to this band. They were an unknown to me. Simply amazing guitar work and great riffs, awesome chord progressions, and the vocals were top-notch! I can't stand texting either. It's cold and empty for me. It's fine for short exchanges or for specific things, like sending pictures or videos, but if it goes on for more than 10 minutes or so I request a phone call.
I had a feeling this was right up your alley! Definitely take that Dive into Trivium - I've seen them twice and there will definitely be more one of these days. This song actually premiered on Twitch when Elder Scrolls Online released a new DLC (can't remember which one off the top of my head). As someone who used to jam Trivium while playing Skyrim, this blew me away the day it came out.
I think it was released with the Gates of Oblivion chapter stuff, I believe - so like, Blackwood and Fargrave and everything around those. I may or may not live on ESO daily
Trivium is awesome, old or new. A good friend of mine introduced me to them a long time ago back before Matt really started singing when we were both trying to learn guitar and they've been one of my favorites since. Martyr is an awesome song. Another of my favorites is Built to Fall. Thanks for sharing, hope you're doing well.
I adore Trivium for some reason their songs just seem to yank my soul from my body .... i especially love the Shogun album Matts voice is the best n its so rich its like listening to treacle , love ur channel Mr Wolff 🤘🏼🖤🤘🏼
Trivium has some great music, "In the Court of the Dragon" is the album this is from; it's really good, a return to form from their early days with "Shogun" (also a classic album that needs to be checked out). "Pull Harder..." is off the album "Ascendancy", which is a good one, too. Their next tour in '25 is going to be celebrating that album, playing it in full. According to an interview, the next material they work on will be influenced by that album, too. So it sounds like a good time to do a dive back into their classic albums!
Um......total Banger!! This was a jam for sure. The music itself reminded me of Metallica or Megadeath. The vocalist obviously has a sound of his own, though. Good stuff.
First of all brother, I appreciate your perspective from the bottom of my soul, I watched one of the Lorna Shore videos, or all of them, I watch everything I find connected to them, and we have a very similar outlook on life, the catharsis that music provides is unparalleled, I'm hitting the subscribe button as soon as I'm done commenting. Second, this as well as I believe The Shadow of the Abbatoir were written for Elder Scrolls VI, and are supposed to be included in the soundtrack.
for me it's either Writing (a lot) or Face 2 Face (preferably in real life, but Video is OK-ish). I'm not good at phoning because i cannot see the person and have to answer quickly and without the excruciating thinking about words when there is not time limit :)
Oh no you mentioned Morrowind? Don't get me started. Morrowind was the best Elder Scrolls, and would definitely include it amongst my favorite games ever. Now.. the song at hand. "The Phalanx". I liked this. This got really good at the end. I am wondering if a modern Elder Scrolls had this track included in a soundtrack or something.
I think they said part of this track was written during the shogun album. They took those parts and finished them for this album.
That's right. And i think this is the best they ever been in this album. This track was kind of a blast from the past, a really nice surprise !

I adored that freaking game! also agreed, it got better as it when. His melodic cleans are soooo nice. Not sure on the modern elder scrolls thing.
That was verry good. Loved the music, not sure about the game.
Oh you would love it. You can frolic through the forest or fight nice little trolls
