Agree with your wacro mode experience, caused by the tiny gimbals on the remote and crazy default rates, get some extended sticks and lower their center sensetivity in Settings > Remote Controller > Gain & Expo and start with the lowest value 🙂👍

Well ken it’s ironic that you posted this video today. I just ordered the Avata with motion 2 controller and goggles 2 and FPV controller 2. Can’t wait to fly it for the first time. It’s gonna be a great addition to my other 7 DJI drones

Heard that the avata has flaws in acro mode, personally never flew one so I can't say.

Had my Avata for almost a year now. I have the motion controller. I don’t mind it but missing being able to fly backwards or sideways. Is it worth the $200 to get the controller that you use? Thanks.
Its worth it but it's also 5x harder to fly in manual/acro mode, granted you don't have to fly in manual mode but if you don't plan on doing it then I think spending the 200 becomes a bit less worth it.
Yes. Also the 2 stick controller will help you start building muscle memory that applies to all drones!
@@Fly_High_FPV thanks Fly High. I already have 3 other DJI’s, so the sticks are what I’m used to. I really like the motion controller. Just wondering if the extra backwards and side to side movement capabilities are worth the added price.
@stevehorvat69 for me, it's totally worth it to have 2 sticks. Might see ifnyou can find a remote used or refurbed, because $200 would get a high quality, long range FPV remote, Like at Tango2 Pro (for DIY FPV, mot DJI) Etiher way, the more stick time, the better
Both Ken and Barclay say "that's not a good thing to do" -- yet... that's how I always, 100% of the time, "land" my Avata? Is it bad just because it makes the FC "freak out" and try to compensate before giving up and shutting down?

Why is the 'Barkley Landing' not good to do? I've been doing it exclusively as my Avata refuses to land and I've been too lazy to send it in.
It is very bad for the motors and frame.
Still too expensive for me to even remotely afford lol. So back to my anolog not hd FOV drones lol.

1200 usd sounds really cheap for a motorcycle and an avata combo.. id sign up.. but im flat out broke with about 100 bucks.. and the bucks are really horny for some reason..

Terrible idea buzzing his face like this when he is riding his motorcycle, specially since he wasn’t wearing a helmet. I don’t care how pro you think your skills or how slow he was going, it’s just not cool.
A ducted drone won't hurt anyone. Besides, his face knew it was coming. 🤓
