The radio on my 2021 Durango RT it's shutting off on its own and blacks out the screen at times sometimes it goes off for about 20 minutes the comes back on its own

Same in my 2022. Uconnect box needs service, no dealership will do it without leaving it for a week for diagnosis then scheduling again for repair. No loaner transportation and cannot be done on a Saturday. Where's that leave people who work ?!
1 Turn ignition on 2 turn running day lights on/ (E brake off) 3 turn ignition off while in park 4 disconnect the red battery wire 5 wait until head lights completely off 6 reconnect and turn the car on again. Hope this helps.
Yes same here I’m having these issue now with my radio, I was using the gps with apple CarPlay all of a sudden it shuts off and I had to pull over on the high way to reset seems like a lot of people having this same issue, also a ticking noise coming from the center of the vehicle dealer can’t figure out what’s causing it making me regret buying it 😩😩
@@lv2221 yep so they though it was the transfer case they changed that out but the noise continued I took it back and had a technician in the car with me while I was driving they figured out the drive shaft was lose so they swapped it out luckily everything was covered under warranty Didn’t have any issue since drove to Canada and back it was a breeze
I work at cjdr and still cant seem to understand why and how stupid They make there cars , DONT BUY A CHEROKKE L or any 2021 cjdr THE DONT HAVE ALTINATORS NEED TO BE DRIVEN DAILY OR WILL NEED TO REPLACE BATTERY 👀 watch unless you want the car as a second car don't recommend daily driving any mopar vehicle, literally only for fun every mopar car has battery problems if not traded in 1- 1/5 yr . Not made for daily only fun , only fun u get is battery problems and faulty wiring . The real ballers trade cars in every yr cuz they know this cheap ass brands not goin last
Got a 18 durango gt and the center screen has been been acting up saying “ dodge”and won’t change unless it’s the reverse camera I got warranty till 80,000 miles and got 41,590 on it going to take it in but damn it’s too new to be doing this shit 🤦♂️
Got the same issue on my 2018, reverse camera will pop on and off - but all other features are black screen. Dealer is telling me it will need to be replaced. Lmk how it goes !
press and hold the ‘power’ and ‘tune’ button for 20 secs. the screen should reset and should work after.

My husband has the 2020 and the radio keep turning off. We’re you ever able to get ur car fixed
