I limited so many foods due to my health and lost a lot of weight. I was afraid to eat until I found you. I tried this and it turned out so amazing. I can eat the whole thing like potato chips. It's delicious. You make things simple and easy to follow. To remind you that I am not a good cook or like to until now. Thank you so much!
I just tried this and I used Brussel sprouts, yellow squash, bell peppers and season with sea salt, pepper, garlic powder&turmeric and it's delicious. I just started doing plant based and this gave me a new way to do my veggies 😊
Today your video got me through my first ever roasted veggie session. I did carrots, Brussel sprouts, pine nuts, broccoli on one pan. And assorted small potatoes on another afterwards. Thank you for the timing advice. Everything turned out FANTASTIC
Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrots, here. Tossed each separately in EVOO, salt, pepper, garlic granules, and put m in that order on our small half-sheet lined w parchment paper. Baked at 400 for 30 minutes. Broccoli & Cauliflower were most charred, but the carrots were delicious, too. I don’t want to boil these vegetables, anymore! I heard someone on the radio 50 years ago telling of the proper way to eat most vegetables - it was roasting them. Hahh. I finally found out how! Thanks ❤Made a dressing for it w EVOO, lemon, salt, granulated garlic, black & red pepper flakes. While it was hot on my plate, I put 2 Swiss cheese slices on top and covered it to melt. That was my dinner.😋
I haven't been able to successfully make roasted veggies in the oven to come out exactly as I like them to, but after watching this, I did it! I always roasted them at 350 and they didn't ever seem to come out as "roasted", more like just "cooked", but these are perfect! I also added red and green sweet peppers. I just subscribed to Dani's Clean & Delicious TH-cam videos and will be trying her crispy roasted potatoes next!
Fantastic recipe thank you I bake mine on a metal baking sheet covered with parchment paper. They still get nice and brown and I dust them with paprika when I have them spread out on the parchment paper so delicious.
Thank you for posting so many wonderful recipes! I love the variety and you have changed the way I cook for my family. Roasted vegetables is a favorite in my house. The favorite has become yellow squash, zucchini and carrots..all speared.
how long and what temp do you roast them at? Everytime I've done squash and zucchini, they turn to mush even tho I do them like she does in the video 😔
@@hllymchll i make them into skinny spears almost like a crinkle cut fries or a steak fry toss them in olive oil, season, and then cook them at 450° until they start to brown. Depending on my batch size usually 15 min. Hope that helps. I have on occasion thrown under broiler too to give my veggies a crisp. Have to watch not to burn
I use this method regularly for different vegetables and roots and it always becomes delicious! Today was the last time I made oven-roasted potatoes seasoned with thyme, salt, black pepper and garlic powder.
To anyone watching: Broccoli will char/burn a lot faster than any of the other vegetables listed. The optimum way to to make this for oven roasting is to add the brocolli to the pan about 7-10 minutes after already roasting the carrots/cauliflower etc. It takes about half the time for brocolli so if you're looking for consistency I'd suggest adding brocolli to the mix at least 7 minutes after everything else has gone in.
I used broccoli, onion, carrots, squash, cauliflower and zucchini. I also lined the pan with foil, because I hate too much cleaning. I still got the char on both sides, without turning the veggies midway. Thanks for the video, it was really helpful.
My favorite vegetable combination is carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and mushrooms. I add Italian seasoning to mix besides salt, pepper, and garlic. I do like to turn over the vegetables in half way mark in the cooking time. They come out with a great flavor.
Happy Friday, friends! Excited to share this kitchen staple with all of my healthy home cooks. I’m this is a great way to use up extra veggies hanging out in your fridge. Enjoy!! XO-Dani
Thank you, Dani! I'm looking for ways to add oomph to my veggies. I loved your FYI tips on baking the veggies & best ways to cut floret veggies. Hope your November has been off to a beautiful start! *massive hugs*
This is an easy receipe and it’s quick to put together. I added Roma tomatoes and they were delicious. Always love to cook your meals. 😀Thanks and Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
One tip for the Brokkoli: peal the sides of the stem with a tool as you would peal a potatoe. And then cut it in slices. That part is delicious and doesn't have to be wasted
If I want potatoes I'll put them in for 10 minutes, then take out the pan and add my veggies and maybe also pork loins, salmon fillets -the food always turns out perfect and with one pan! Plus I skip the bowl by mixing in the oil and seasonings in with my hands right on the pan.
Thank you so much! This is great - have you staged your roasting for different types? say more starchy on the outside of the pan, then after 10 min, add the less starchy so they will all "finish" at the same time?
Your veggie tips and tricks and selection are extremely important in light of soaring food prices! Do you find vegetable steaming occurring when using a convection oven?

I would not use olive oil because it denatures right around 400f. Avocado or coconut oil hold up at 425 without denaturing. Great overall tips!
