    I just ordered the 96 or 93 pack. I haven’t got them yet but I am super excited! They were also pretty affordable for 96. They were 63 dollars off of amazon. They were less on the arteza website but only by a few dollars. I bought them off of amazon instead because it had 2 day shipping and I am NOT patient. Thanks for showing me how they will be! Love your channel. -From a Fan.

    I learned in art school that if you use markers on the markers paper it soaks up your markers a lot and it will shorten the life of your markers. Also watercolor paper will do this too. Bristol is the best to use or cardstock. Just FYI. Love your channel.

    My set arrived yesterday and my first impression is that these really don't work well for watercoloring images. I've used the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for quite a while and that's what I'm comparing them to. I get little to no color movement on hot press watercolor paper but will keep playing with them.

    • @LollyPalooza
      @LollyPalooza  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I had also never tried to just color with them on watercolor paper first and then add water. Completely different result. I mostly prefer hot press paper myself.

      Your best bet would be too add the water directly too the page or dip the markers tip into water before you put them on the page, I find they work best with cheaper watercolor paper, not cotton but the kind made from wood pulp because the pigment sits on top rather then soaking in it's more of a water soluable ink so you have a short window for adding water too blend it, it's an interesting medium with its own quirks, and so far one of my favorites, I hope you find what works for you with them they are really fun too even just doodle with

    Hi Lolly I'm new to coloring for a beginner what would you choose as the best product alcohol or water and brand

    • @LollyPalooza
      @LollyPalooza  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You might find this easier and more affordable. Alcohol markers take longer to learn and master. So many crafters buy the alcohol markers, try them once, and give up. It takes practice. Alcohol markers are expensive, too. Arteza has some alcohol markers called EverBlend, and they are super affordable, but they don't have a brush tip. I heard they are coming out with a brush tip soon.

    Thanks, Lolly😊

    • @LollyPalooza
      @LollyPalooza  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't tried. I'm sure you could color on wood, but I'm not sure about blending, as they would soak into the wood if it's untreated wood. Thanks for watching, Lolly!

    Glad I found this review even though it's from last year. I have just been thinking about investing in a set of these. I really like the way the roses and leaves turned out. I have some other Arteza products and I like them, so I will be investing in a set of these as well. I think they would be really nice to use for card making. Thanks for sharing.
