In this week's i am trying out some new art supplies that #arteza have been kind enough to send me :D. I was so excited when i received the parcel and i decided to make a #firstimpressions video with swatches and doing a full illustration in my sketchbook using as many colours as i could from this set. I just want to say thank you to arteza for reaching out. I feel so honored someone over there thought of my channel. I do want to say that my review is completely based off of my experience using the actual #brushpens and not just because i received them . I don't know if you've heard much about ASMR, but I think you would do an excellent job at it! Your voice is so relaxing and calming, and your accent provides just the right amount of soft and hard sound balance. I could for real listen to you all day. Also, gorgeous illustration! I have heard of ASMR :)) However i have always considered my voice a bit annoying. Maybe because of all the editing But i will keep that in mind :D Thank you!
they indeed seem a bit dry, but the only experience i have with brush pens are 3 copics and a huge set of ecoline brush markers and they're both suuuper wet. so maybe it's nice for journal spreads if they're a bit more dry? I can imagine they won't bleed through the page as easily. + it also seems like the dryness can be easily solved by adding some water to the mix.

Yes the dryness kind of went away as i was using them :D. I am curious however how long these would last me . Thank you so much for your lovely comment

they look so cool. the colors are so vibrant and they have a pretty interesting selection. the illustration turned out so nice. a lot of people are using arteza. you seem to be very satisfied with their products. i'll check their website and see if there's something i might wanna try :).
I am satisfied yes :D. They come at a really good price point and they get the job done. They are probably not the best art supplies out there but i think for beginner and intermediate they are great if you don't want to spend too much. And also for sketchbook work i really enjoy them
Thank you for this. I was disappointed with mine as the quality of the nylon brushes are really poor... But you have inspired me to dust them off and try to make the most of them...
I have a couple of brushes that are a bit frayed in the set. But most of them were in good shape. You can always return the product to arteza if you're not satisfied but i am so glad i was able to inspire you to give them another shot

They are not really markers. They are brush pens. But i was also under the impression that they are markers. :D
Wow! Love your illustration. I don't like markers either, but I know where that comes from. When I was little my parents would buy me a set of "carioci" and they would run out so fast and I would hate that so much about them! I never tried markers as an adult artist. As a mother I do make sure that my kids have high quality art supplies in large quantities.
Haha! Yes that might be the reason i don't like markers either. However these are not really markers. They are more like water brushes but instead of holding water they hold pigment if that makes sense
