This advice assumes the grounds for them breaking up with you were not that serious. If things were toxic and there was emotional abuse, neglect, infidelity, addiction etc.-If they ever do come back, it will be for two reasons. Firstly, the attempts at finding another lifelong partner failed (this will have to happen first as much as it stings), and second, they see you in a new light and change their perspective and emotional orientation toward you. If the breakup was amicable and there were no substantial issues and they just felt bored or made an impulsive decision, your chances are much greater. Proceed with the mindset that your goal is to OUTGROW your ex. You want to get to the point where in 2-3 years, when you look them up or see them at a party or bar, you aren't emotionally triggered or even that attracted to them because the women you now date are more beautiful, smarter, fitter, less emotionally broken etc. The path to victory lies within you but you must make it a reality. Let the pain and grief of the breakup be your fuel for evolution.

No texts, calls, social media messaging etc. It will hurt like hell, and you will obsess over him for weeks and months. But after enough time, you will start to grow a thicker skin and it will get easier. For whatever reason, he lost attraction to you and the relationship and you can't control that. Ghosts him, show strength, don't respond if he tries to breadcrumb you and you will grow and get him back down the road. Trust me. Chasing, begging and waiting will never bring him back. It has been almost 2 years. We have 3 kids together, which live with me 1700 miles away from their mom. I have had several ladies interested, but the idea just feel wrong, dirty, and totally disrespectful to my kids and family in general. Success story here. Ex left 9 months ago after an 8 year relationship with a 4 year old son involved. Her family suggested that she change numbers and not communicate with me, so she can explore. She than made contact with my aunt as she believed I would not like to communicate with her, finally could not hold herself and requested a meeting with me last week. She told me how life has been without me, she even quit school just before her final exam. We are fixing things and we are taking it one-day at a time. TRUST ME NO CONTACT DOES WORK, just stay positive and work on yourself.

This is true , no contact is about you finding your strenght and your peace , is not about them anymore.
This advice assumes the grounds for them breaking up with you were not that serious. If things were toxic and there was emotional abuse, neglect, infidelity, addiction etc.-If they ever do come back, it will be for two reasons. Firstly, the attempts at finding another lifelong partner failed (this will have to happen first as much as it stings), and second, they see you in a new light and change their perspective and emotional orientation toward you. If the breakup was amicable and there were no substantial issues and they just felt bored or made an impulsive decision, your chances are much greater. Proceed with the mindset that your goal is to OUTGROW your ex. You want to get to the point where in 2-3 years, when you look them up or see them at a party or bar, you aren't emotionally triggered or even that attracted to them because the women you now date are more beautiful, smarter, fitter, less emotionally broken etc. The path to victory lies within you but you must make it a reality. Let the pain and grief of the breakup be your fuel for evolution.

@@diaryofseresha If your goal is to get him back, the best thing you can do is also the hardest thing. You have to let him go and start No Contact. No texts, calls, social media messaging etc. It will hurt like hell, and you will obsess over him for weeks and months. But after enough time, you will start to grow a thicker skin and it will get easier. For whatever reason, he lost attraction to you and the relationship and you can't control that. Ghosts him, show strength, don't respond if he tries to breadcrumb you and you will grow and get him back down the road. Trust me. Chasing, begging and waiting will never bring him back. And if he does come back soon, he'll leave you again. Start now. Good luck.

I blocked him everywhere the month after he discarded me. He can still see me in our mutual friend's pictures, but he was in a new relationship very soon after he ended things with me. He was seeing her & me at the same time. I highly doubt he's thinking about or watching me. Not that it's any of my business, he's probably happy, engaged or close to it. I deleted my social media apps years ago, so I can confirm that none of my ex's are "definitely" watching me. They dumped me and immediately moved on, probably to never think about me again.
And sometimes they are on greener grass. You know because she invited him out with you and made you watch as she started ignoring you and started paying more and more attention to him throughout the night. Made you watch as she playfully touched him, and gave him "the look". Then she leaves you the next day.
It's like she wants you to see that she's leaving you for someone better just to dig the knife deeper.

My ex broke up with me, and I was really hurt because I did everything for her. Whenever she needed something, I was there for her. I supported her when she was feeling down. Before I came into her life, she was struggling. However, she left me a week before my birthday. I started the no-contact rule, and lately, when I've seen her, she's been looking stressed. Also, we didn't fight or argue; we were so chill with each other which made it easier for both of us. Her reasoning as to why she left is because she felt like her life wasn't progressing, and she felt the relationship wasn't moving forward.

Posted insta stories, I'm not even on insta, I've deactivated my two accounts just to take time for myself. So he posted a WhatsApp update. I thought he would've hidden those from me, or deleted me from his contacts, so I was surprised to see the update. I didn't watch that either. Hi Coach my ex dump me via text, i go no contact right away, he contacted 3 times then on 43th day of no contact i agreed him to come and ask him to bring my things i left in his apartment. Then i said, hes behaviour is big turn off and break my boundary big time.

It has been almost 2 years. We have 3 kids together, which live with me 1700 miles away from their mom. I have had several ladies interested, but the idea just feel wrong, dirty, and totally disrespectful to my kids and family in general. I am super angry inside about it, and my ex is the type of girl that meets a lot of people, especially other "boys", calls them her friends instantly, and hangs out with them a lot. I concentrate on taking care of my kids, my fitness, and only allow select few into my circle and call them my friends. I take full accountability for being a d bag, but now she is not being a good mom. The embers still burn in my feelings for her, but I do relate to a wild lion when rogue males come around. I am very protective of my kids around other males, and can't turn off the switch, even for my ex. I moved for several reasons, but a huge reason is because I was ready for war. I love my kids so much, and the memory of my ex and full family, I feel really incomplete without her by my side raising our children together

I got dumped ,she wouldn't answer the same day she dumped me i called more than 50 times in a row i decided to just accept it and block her on whatsapp and Facebook. She blocked me on tiktok and noticed that she unblocked me 3 days later so i blocked her now.. shes now trying to reach my mother and tell my mom anything she needs she'll be there for her.. after telling me she doesn't ever want me back.. like why the heck would you reach out to my mom . Ok so hi. The stuff he says are not guaranteed. My ex just got with the guy i allways warned her agaist as being a fake friend that only wanted her body. I stayed in no contact for 4 months. But honestly it's better this way, we were never compatibile and i would never go back with her.

I’m going through the same thing. It’s the worst. We take it a step further though and one of us sleeps at a relative’s house on the nights where the other has the kids. We still see and communicate with each other regularly but it hasn’t changed her decision on the separation. It’s a hopeless situation

When I did that she only said you are right, it seems like we lost the spark. So that confirmed my thoughts. I think we ended up in this situation because long distance caused neediness from my side.
