The reason has been on the forums for years & years. No shroud means you're only using 2/3 of your radiator at best. Ebay fan has pitiful flow vs an OEM or SPAL/etc fan. Pusher fans are less efficient. The other half of problem is likely from the tune, where running a few degrees less timing can dump a ton of extra heat into the exhaust. Last month I knocked 30F off a car's temps by adding 10deg of timing at idle & low load. Doing the test with 2-step just confirms that.
great info man thanx. I just added another fan n that seemed to help alot. I'm thinking of going back 2 a hood exit and putting my oem fan back on. never had issues before until the slim fan
I thought your downpipe was much longer, you need to extend it atleast to where the cat would be or by the firewall area and dump it there like a truck. That will keep the exhaust fumes and that extra heat away from the rad. If the pipe coming right off the turbo is hot the wrap will minimize that for sure.. gotta do a follow up on the car too!! lol hopefully that helps
That’s crazy … maybe a new thermostat would help (higher graded one ) … can you run your exhaust to the side and maybe do a side exit? Idk if you have the space for that but that might help too
Your radiator position looks like air is easier to flow round the side you need a good fan like a Spal on the rear and get the rad in a position where air only choice is to flow thou it have to imagine air like water the fan on front like a brick wall in front off rad air will flow around as it easier has to be no big gaps around radiator
ahhhh got ya thanx. I working on adding another fan and ill see the results after that. if it still doesn't work I'll most likely change the while setup
Your head gasket is bad bro happen to me at the dyno I change the radiator cap I put my fan manual new thermostat and it has the head gasket and it was only under boost

Also think your water pump may need to be swapped too, since the rpm thing happened when you go in neutral
thanx bro. issue is there is no room to extend the pipe back. I might have to go back to a hood exit. and water pump not that old but u never know.

0 space for side exit. and I'm not even running a thermostat to keep it colder lmaooo but nope still over heats
Same issue! Cannot figure it out. All new honda parts. I was told to check the timing but haven't checked yet.
seems like my issue is the slim fan I put on. I added a 2nd fan on the other side n it helped alot. ima go back to oem fan.

i was having the same issues i got a mishimoto 3 core had to cute the support a lil but it does alot better than beofer and im in south fl dummy hot
oh wow. I just added a 2nd fan. will see if that does the trick!

hopefully it's not that. has a brand new headgasket. we will see
Just buy a mustang already 😂
yea I don't wanna deal with pinion angles and driveshaft issues 😂😂
@@poca908able hey she solved now 😂
