@@BigBossPokemon If you are getting $1.12 (just went up recently from $1.11) that is a 3 ounce eBay Standard Envelope charge now. One ounce is currently $0.64 and two ounces is $0.88. The post office keeps raising there prices.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure how standard envelope worked. I usually trade in MTG cards. We put the cards in the penny sleeve upside down and the put that in the top loader normally. It helps keep the top edge of the card from being exposed and is supposed to help with moisture to the card also.

I know this is 2 years old hoping someone sees the I sell cards via discord how can I print a PWE sticker for the envelope if I’m not selling on eBay so I can’t use ebays option to print one out
I’ve shipped cards exactly like this on eBay with the eBay standard envelope with one card, a penny sleeve and a top loader, and I’ve had my product merchandise come back to me because there wasn’t enough shipping on it because it was deemed non-machinable letter.
Tell your PO that it’s an eBay standard envelope and they will stamp it differently. Lots of USPS don’t know about this service still and process it as a letter

I bought 2 big boxes of 1000's Baseball Cards & a few basketball (Jordans & a few others) from an Estate Sell back in the late 1990's from a millionaires Estate.
This Dude that died knew what he was collecting & I got them for $15!
I have no idea about cards besides they are all still in mint condition, full sets of Topps, Upper Decks, Donruss, Fleer & Ultra's. I found a few rookie Wade Boggs, Nolan Ryan & some others.
I haven't been through all of them & don't know where to start. lol
I keep getting complaints from customers! Saying the shipping is too flimsy. Which I don't understand! It is standard envelope. I even fold the packing slip around the card to keep it from shifting around! Have you encountered this issue? If so what adjustments have you made.

If you do crazy volume it can be. Just very time consuming so you have to get efficient at listing

What top loaders do you use! The ones I bought I have a hard time getting a card with a sleeve inside of it. Luckily it was a old cheap card but had to shove it in there and of course it caused a bend edge trying to get it in there lol

I can't seem to get my label to fill out the label for standard letter. I am using windows w Jadans thermal printer from Amazon. Appreciate any advice. Usings a #10 4X9.5 inch envelope. The label has about a inch margin on left, right, bottom and about 1/2 inch on top.
My post office is sending a good chunk of my mailings back. I am using just the penny sleeve top loader and painter's tape on the top. I am using CardBoard Gold Standard 3x4 Top Loaders. When I contacted eBay they said that the problem I am having is because I am using a to thick of a Top Loader and that there are thinner ones out there. What companies Top Loaders are you using to manage to get them through and are thinner? The Post office is saying when they look at the Top Loader by itself (with no penny sleeve or card in it) it is to firm/dense and needs the nonmachinable upcharge. I do not use any extra cardboard as you mentioned. Just the Penny Sleeve, Top Loader and Painter's Tape

What do you do when USPS does not scan the tracking at any of their terminals? I have several cards that weren't scanned at all and several more that the last scan was the Nashville TN terminal. Unless the buyer is honest, I'm pretty sure I'll have to send a refund and lose the cards I shipped as well.
Make sure to tell your usps about the service so they get the initial scan.
I just got my hands on a ton of old cards should I look each one up or just lot them together for 1 price?
Look up ones you think might be good individually and list the ones that are. The ones that aren’t I’d lot up
After you put the card in the envelope you go to the post office and give it to them?

Yes they have tracking so you can prove it was delivered

Either works. I take them to the PO and have them scanned in front of me to ensure they scan them

usps branch does not accept ebay standard envelope label.
There is a trading card inside the label.
I followed all the terms of use.
But usps won't accept it.
It says it will count it as a package and I have to pay extra.
Please help me.

Then you’re doing something wrong. If you followed the steps in this video they’ll accept it. I’ve shipped thousands of cards this way.
Hello, I have a question about PWE shipping labels. When you purchase shipping labels from eBay is the label orientation already set up to print correctly from your Rollo to fit the envelope. Or do you need to make a template. I appreciate it.
For me it was formatted to print right off the rollo

What exactly is the risk to losing Top Rated Seller status using this method? My concern is, since the tracking is not exactly the same as shipping a first class package, what protects you from eBay's 'Tracking uploaded on time and validated' section under Seller Level?
Well since less than 1% of my sales from cards I haven’t put any thought into it. If it’s a big part of your business then maybe create a separate selling account just for cards. My PO is great tho and always scans them in

So can you ship these from your house or do you have to take it to the post office? Also if I put say 5 or so cards in a team bag and it is still less than 3 ounces and under 20 dollars is that allowed? Or is there a limit to how many cards you can put inside a team bag? I know about the limit to 2 top loaded cards but I don’t know about the team bagged cards. Please help.
Yep you ship them directly from your house then drop them off at the PO or put them in your mailbox. You can’t ship more than 1 toploader standard envelope or it’s too thick. You’ll want to ship those USPS first class

Yes your post office is likely not scanning them in. When you drop them off next time explain to them they’re tracking envelopes. Many still don’t know about this service
so do you print the label horizontally on the 4x6 label instead of vertically? I have a 4x6 label printer and wondered if it would work for printing those labels as well
It prints the label out perfectly vertically. You just change whatever platform you’re printing from the 4x6 and it does it

A couple of questions for you. My son is selling cards now and printing out and taping the labels is a pain. I ship my own items and use my Dymo LabelWriter 450 Turbo for my first class labels. How can he use this Dymo with his ebay standard envelope labels that he prints? Or is it not possible? I'm searching and searching for easier ways for him. What label machine are you using as maybe we could buy one of those. Also, I have 2x4 shipping labels I was trying to see if they would work with the laser printer since I can't seem to figure out anything for the Dymo. HELP!!

You set up as USPS Media Mail when listing , then change to eBay envelope mail after sold and before printing shipping label?
Not normally no. But it doesn’t tatter what you have it setup as if you do free shipping.
What do you do if you sell 4 or 5 standard envolope listings to the same person all at once. Do you combine your shipping ?do you add it all together and put it in a bubble mailer? Will you lose profit on shipping if someone buys alot at standard shipping? I sell, but have never used standard shipping. Always bubbles for me, but people are starting to complain to me that my shipping it to expensive since they started allowing the plain white envelope shipping.
If they order more than one I’d send first class

You likely didn’t list it in the correct category so it won’t be an option. When you are listing it you should see PWE as an option under shipping. If not you’re in the wrong category

It’s a USPS service so needs to go USPS. Your own mailbox works
What size are the envelopes? There’s so many sizes to choose from. All my eBay sales have been expensive cards but I’m going to start listing my cheaper cards as well and need to get the envelopes.

This is a special service just for cards. You can’t mail card with a stamp
So the part I'd like to know. I bought a PWE standard ebay label. I've printed directly from pdfs to my thermal printer before. But instead of a nice 4x6, it gave me a whole page. When I go to reprint it, it's always the same and won't go on the thermal printer. How did you get it set up to print these to a thermal printer?
Mine just prints 4x6 automatically
Warning my post office keeps returning any eBay standard envelopes with a top loader in it. They claim it's not flexible enough
Find a new post office, you’re completely allowed to send a top loader in them.

So I sent an card in an envelope 2 weeks ago, and the tracking still just says sent “label created”. Nothing since then. Did I do something wrong?
You need to make sure when you drop it off that your post office knows that it is a tracking label. Many of them get it confused with stamped labels so once you make your post office aware of this, they will scan them in.

No many times they take 2-3 weeks to deliver. Half the time they never scan in delivered and still do so don’t bring awareness to the buyer if you haven’t already.

Yes but I’d suggest just buying a printer then waiting in line at the post office every time you sell something.

Of course. How would you know who to ship it to until it sells? When it sells it will go into your orders and from there you just click print shipping label on the order

New to selling on ebay. I have sold a few so far and still don't understand why they charge the seller over 13% instead of 5% for single cards. Are you able to explain?
Different categories have different fees. Sometimes even the same items can be listed in slightly different categories so fees are different. You can view their fees by category on their website

I don’t sell cards for anything less than $4. If you send a card without a toploader you’re asking for problems. It’s also not worth my time to list a card if it’s less than $4. Lot those up and ship them together

I mean you need a printer to print it. You don’t need a thermal printer, a normal one will do. Jus touch one up from a thrift store for like $10

Then they upcharge you for the correct weight. Just weigh it and you won’t have that issue. And yes you just take it to the post office or put in your mailbox with the flag up

Ground advantage under 1 lb rates are between $3.50-7. And no you just need to sell on eBay, no store needed
