I Still have a Karizma, i sold it for RTR 180 ABS before 5 years but i did not get the torque and ride quality, vibration was excess in a RTR compared to ZMA. Sold RTR and bought back Karizma from the same person whom i sold to. I am 6ft, its Dam comfortable and powerful city bike for my usage and i am happy with 33KMPL which it returns :) The bike which you have ridden has a light fixed on the handle bar which could make it heavier and feel more vibration in my opinion. I am using the MC cylinder from R15 v1 my old bike, so the braking in my Karizma is pretty sharp even with RTR disk pads.

I miss my Karizma of 2006 Version... Still using a Karizma but ZMR... R was just Awesomeness.. But Lack of Spares.. The Latest updated of 2014 also suffering due to lack of spares..

i seriously still love it and after seeing it video on the spot started searching for a karizma to buy.
a 2nd hand one the sports premium or the R edition because i owned one and loved it a lot though it got old and the engine, parts gave up after 12 years.
but i want one i may even keep it as a show bike for me like a god damn memory ❤️ this bike needs to go into our indian biking history' books as the best one ever made till date.

And then the Hero Honda Karizma just make its Appearance that turns the heads and pop up ur eyes balls. I have 2006 Karizma with me going very smoth and fine. I still ride the "Dhoom" Bike.
I own 2 Bikes ine Yellow and One Red. bot are 2006 Model. & i like the Riding Aesthetics of my bike. atill going strong after 15 yrs of Togetherness with some ups an downs, but love hasnt fainted.

I had karizma as my first bike.. done more than 180,000 kms on it... It's a bulletproof bike...
In 2008 I had completed Bangalore to Pune in 11 hours and 10 min... Then in 2009, I had completed Mumbai to Jaipur in just 17 hours and 20 minutes... In all my rides, not a single time I faced any issue with the bike... I miss that bike very much.. Hero motors had done stupid thing by changing the look and compromising the quality of the bike.. I think they should re-launch it with same old design and rear disc break...

Agree with most of your views. Its a good budget bike but the biggest let down is its brittle body which keeps cracking even if it has never fallen

LML adreno was the first faired motorcycle in India. I thought of letting yay know. 😀
Karizma / R should have been updated only with tubeless tyres, Fuel injection, dual channel ABS, LED Lights, and a full Digital meter without altering the original bike design (Half Fairing).. But Hero screwed it up completely with radical design :(.. Std colours looked best on Karizma / R.. Great comfort for both rider & pillion for long distance..
Faisal buddy I still remember it was 2005 may be in the month of November I went to Park Circus it was Kinetic Showroom which somehow tied up with Hero Honda just one crossing ahead from Royal Restaurant went with my baba just touched red colour premium 223 cc that time it was unaffordable for us to buy it worth 88k I tried a lot to convince my baba but at last failure to convince then returned to Central Avenue again Hero Honda Showroom to see Hero Honda CBZ star but again got disappointed coz at that time Pulsar Classic was launched with old Bajaj logo it was 150 cc and after a week our ISC results will going to announce I called from there my past ex she was from Calcutta Girls sorry can’t dusclose her name she was hardly acquire any knowledge of bikes and then returned home then called all my school childhood frndz they were all excited about their bikes which were yet to arrive uff Faisal that time we were all hardly 17 -18 yrs of age all were cleaned shaved except one of my close infact very close used to have moustache and kada on his hand he then bought CBZ which was fully customized and yes we had a blast on that bike brother 🌹🙏
