I have been riding this bike for 3 years now and i can say it might not be a tech saavy bike, but it is still relevant in todays time considering the performance offered at that price. It will not be wiser to reject the bike without seeing it from close range. It has got worthy road presence. It is surely a head turner I can vouch for it. Even today people ask for the mileage and top speed figures proves it garners attention. it is also very low cost maintenance bike. good acceleration, very good handling. the minus points are lights are less powerful, front visor vibration, and long riding develops pain in the buttocks as well as wrists and elbows. Cornering is not as much safe as in apache. It is a front heavy bike and needs strength in thighs and shoulders when pulling backwards.
If one compares it with pulsar 220 then he will not like this bike because riding style of this bike is different from that of 220 or apache. You should ride it gently at first and gradually take to higher speeds. the bike makes no fuss in reaching 120 kmph but if u ride it at a range of 70-80, it is gem of a bike. Being a fairly long bike, it is very spacious and you can comfortable seat with a bag on our back and a pillion also. The tail light and indicators are extended so, if your gf is sitting behind wearing salwar, the tail light and indicators are still clearly visible to the drivers at the rear.
at high speeds the bike feels very much relaxed and you will not feel scared even if u r doing 110 kmph.
Lastly, looks are subjective but from my point of view it is a genuinely good looking bike and not over designed like RS 200 or Xblade..and there are flaws in every bike admit or not.
This is my honest and not biased review about this bike. although there are better bikes in market now, I personally like the apache RR 310 but karizma continues to offer competitive performance in a tight budget..
Well couldn’t agree more. I have one too black variant. Now planning to put Pirelli Sport Demon on it.
I am using it since 2014 and it never let me down....
Its does his job great and fuel economy is also very good around 40-45 kmpl I am getting...
Whether you race with friends or you go to college or go no long highway trips its does all amazingly good and the service cost is reasonably affordable as well..
Well those who have this in 2021 will certainly appreciate its nature and character and looks honestly it will grow on you once you start riding it
Riding from 8 years and 1 month.... Completed almost 175000 km..
Just changed clutch plates once... Othewise not a single issue with engine at all..
Jabardast head turner and refined at the same time..

I would buy this anytime they come up with ABS. They will have to add ABS as it is mandatory now. This was an eye turner and is still an eye turner. Atleast people like me even though a minority, will look up to it on the roads. Karizmas are scarce now. Although it misses out on mono suspension, I genuinely think that the dual shock absorbers are just enough and they work perfectly good. Don't look too much into the smallest of the things. It has a good engine. Hopefully it will have ABS. Performs decently. Comparitively affordable. What else do you need in a bike? The most important thing is, KARIZMA IS A FEELING. No other bike can make us feel that way. Agree?

my 2014 karizma R gives me 48kmpl n recently she pushed to 52kmpl on highway till pune to Sasan-gir. she rokks....i love it....

Karizma R is the one to look out for.
If you guys see.. This bike comes under 90,000 which is much cheaper than any other bike in the above 200 cc segment.
It doesn't give you that edgy design feel but gives a big bike feel with some good features such as dual headlamps, a sort of new generation design, daytime led lights and don't forget it is still a honda engine which known for reliability, and comfort.
At this price range, I don't think I will get the amount of comfort, reliability, efficiency and bike life from its competitor, pulsar 220.
Give the design some time and it will come over you and you will like it.

Yes the price is definitely its best part. But sadly the design factor takes everything away. It does not please the eye at all. You never want to spend any money on something that you think is not visually appealing especially when it comes to bikes in this segment. I dont think its that refined too. At similar price point or higher pricepoint you have plenty of options. Pulsar 200ns is a clear example. Though i dont like the refinement and efficiency of pulsars, i still think its a much sportier and better bike than this. Well, if you want a bike that is built to last, made for a lifetime, then there is only one name that I look to. "Honda"

Confused ; should I get ZMR Gixxer SF or CBR 150R requirements are moderate comfort, highway mile munching ability, and reliability & Low maintenance. Worth budget upto 1.5 lac should I go for other options too ?
obviously the cbr 150r great touring capabilities, honda's reliability..
CBR 150R just has got a very very smooth engine but Suzuki gixxer though not refined like CBR is a fun to ride motorcycle than cbr150
better you should go for Duke 200 or wait for Pulsar 200 NS F.I version
Even if someone overlooks these faults and buys this bike, parts availability is still an issue. Hero Motors has lots of money lying around. Why don't they buy an established bike company?

yes it always was.
i owned the older karizma R and i rode it at speeds of over 100kmph for long cruising but it didn't whine or cry about being revved.
Hero has the habit of blindly copying designs. This time it's Eric Bulls turn. Doesn't look nice on small motorcycle sadly.

To be frank even old Zmr were too rare on the roadsss..R15 with higher price tag can be seen much frequently wen comprd to it..
Old Zmr too used to look like a plastic box. Karizma was eyecatchy about a decade ago because there were not so many good looking bikes in india at that time. Now all karizmas look like a bicycle with those skinny tyre when compared with modern bikes

Ugly fuel tank , same since 2003 , ugly and skinny 18" tyres. Overall the bike looks as if it is modified at a local garage at cheap cost. Hero bikes are most funny looking these days. Karizma is one of them and new CBZ extreme too looks so ugly

hero has made a crap design . its easy to realise the bike is going to flop. looks matter in this segment . buyers are image conscious . the earlier ZMR had head turning looks and gave the impression of a much bigger bike it was the perfect cruiser and agile in the city too with its fuel injection .hero should have given this new engine in the old design , the would have had a winner on their hands this design looks disproportionate .
