- One of the first semi-faired bikes in the country, the Karizma, has been a popular bike since it was first launched in 2003. Throughout these years, the Karizma has been given a quite a few cosmetic updates, but the engine has remained almost the same. Even the fully-faired version, the Karizma ZMR, retains the engine, but with fuel injection.
The latest iteration of Karizma R features a restyled fairing coupled with all-new graphics and a redesigned engine cowl with a black theme for the engine. The bike also features clear lens turn indicators, stepped up seat, a new yellow-black instrument cluster and black alloy die-cast wheels.
The Karizma R continues to be powered by the tried and tested four-stroke SOHC 223cc engine which delivers 17bhp and 18Nm of torque. Power is put down on the road via a five-speed gearbox. The bike gets discs at the front and drums at the rear. Though the bike is tad underpowered, the dynamics have been perfected over time making it comfortable in urban stop-go traffic as well as long-distance travel.

Hi Bro. What is the comfortable cruising speed for Karizma R? How stressed is the engine at 80-90 KMPH?
Proud owner of 2 Karizma 2011 and 2013 .. 2013 karimza clocked around 96000 without any engine problem . And 2011 Karizma clocked around 72000 without any engine problem and even it's running on original clutch plate .. most reliable bike ever i driven. Maine iss bike se 24 hours me 1100 km cover kiya hain. Still running like a old horse.

Proud owner of Karizma R since 2011....spare parts are a bit costly and difficult to arrange now a days.had to replace the faulty carburetor....it costs around rs.7000....so i installed Pulsar 220 carburetor by myself which is around rs.3000...now its running like brand new once again....❤

I also had Karizma R May 2008 model. I sold in 2018 after split of Hero & Honda and bike was discontinued already in 2013. Now I own Xtreme 200r. Still riding smooth.

Iam proud owner of 2nd Gen. Karizma Red purchased on 29/05/2007. Just a month ago Ive install tottal new engine set up & now running smoothly. hope its paper validation falls 2026 after that I will keep it as show piece at home.
