Sharing my CBR story. I have a CBR250R ABS 2012 Model. It’s done about 60k km and it still runs like new. It’s my first bike and I love it to bits. I’ve had falls with it, I’ve toured the entire country with it, done daily college runs, night rides, everything possible. I am quite heavy and even with my weight my 6 year old bike did 171 kmph (Speedo reading, downhill, tailwind 😛). Nevertheless, it does 130-135 effortlessly with all the luggage. Mileage, performance, braking, everything has been consistent over the last 6 years. I do wish it was faster or atleast felt faster like the Dukes and RCs but on the highway, this thing just munches miles. I absolutely hate its suspension though. It’s too soft. And the instrument cluster is also horrible compared to Dukes and Pulsars. But I will take my CBR to the most torturous terrain in a heartbeat. It’s never let me down and again, I love it to bits!
I purchased a 2013 Honda CBR 250R Repsol ABS edition with only 9k on the Odometer. 1st owner moving out of country. Paid 80k. Minor repairs and services. Installed Michelin pilot street radials. And now the beast runs like a dream. 160+ top speed. Haha . Best bike by Honda ever.

I got a 3rd hand 2011 ABS model , initially I was very sceptical about performance etc.. but then after I took it to my native which is about 450 km , NH 4 , the experience was awesome , I cruised between 110-120 kmph comfortably , fantastic road grip , stability , absorbs poth holes , bumps very confidently.. I am using a cbr 250r from 2012. Till date, it never had a single break down on the road. Post 120 km/hr the pull is sluggish. It stays planted even at its top speed. Has good mileage for a 250 cc engine. Standard continental tyres are not up to the mark so I have upgraded to Michelin pilot street tyres and I am happy with my choice. In my opinion it’s a well balanced bike for Indain conditions. Thank u Honda for this bike as I have lots of good memories with it😊👍🏻

Nice review. CBR250R even 7 years after its India launch still looks great, is fast, a good tourer, a great commuter, and also a great weekend canyon ride. Also as the review states it also can be taken to a track with good tires. India's best versatile supersport bike is not Apache RR310, but 2018 CBR250R.
Cbr250r is an amazing bike. I still remember my friend got the repsol edition back in 2012 and he used the bike so well. Those were the good days better days are coming for honda lovers. Soon we will get activa 1000g supercharged scooty. Cant wait 😍

Got it in used market for 75k at odo reading 26k 2012 ABS model... using it for 1 year now...super smooth beyond 4k rpm but inside city sounds a bit coarse(by Honda standards), just changed the brake pads air filter and good to go :).Rear tyre Mrf zapper s 140/70, the previous owner put it but its better than the conti, front tyre is stock conti and needs an urgent upgrade. Mileage of around 31-33 here in Kolkata.Did a couple of highway rides at speeds of 100-110 ,unbelievable economy of 37-39 kmpl.Personal top speed is 151kmph without even downshifting or anything ,saw an open stretch on the highway just whacked open the throttle in 6th gear tucked behind the windshield at 115kph and it pulled past 150.Am really happy, for me its a perfect blend of economy and performance. I'm getting cbr 250r 2013 model for 60k, 22 thousand km ridden, it is worthy, bike is in good condition, im clutch and gear shifting is smooth, and its for 1st owner.
I think there is a reason why they are not updating this model. It is the tried and tested bike and they don't want to tinker with that tag (especially in our country where people actually hate much changes in a reliable machine) . Bringing 300 r will push the price up and also honda will need more time to set things up for 300r. In my view, they just need to update those mirrors and provide proper sports tourer accessories. May be they can follow Kawasaki strategy too, Retain 250 with minor changes and launch a parallel twin 300 as people are moving towards proper upgrades unlike before. But a new generation 150 would definitely grasp a lot of market
I think one (of) the thing that killed it was the dealers, who're always busy selling a billion activa..I went for a test ride at 2 dealerships in 2012, while first one refused, the second allowed a 300M run around the showroom..So I bought the Duke 200.
Even i own one and as u said its the go anywhere motorcycle .its maintenance free and the quality is top notch.fun to ride on highway and city equally .thumbsup to u bhai.
Best bike in every aspect .. for a entry level rider .. he cant ask more then this !! It kills duke 200 in top speed .. and my best in cbr250r is around 168 ..

My brother used to have this bike 2 years ago n I absolutely loved it. It was comfy, smooth AF and a pleasure to ride n suprisingly good at offroading although I recommend don't try it😅
I'm owning a 2011 model, I would say highly reliable and best one for turing. I clocked 67k and I can guarantee it can bet Duke 200 in a drag race. Coz I have done that so many times. I'm not saying Dukes are bad they are nimble but I would go with Honda CBR rather than Duke 200
Yesh Recruiter we can't compare CBR 250 with RC 200. Both machine has different DNA. RC200 is track bike while CBR is like sports touter. RC 200 engine and technology is more refined and advanced.
Yesh Recruiter not all rc's are same. One of my friend did k2k to and fro in rc200. The parts which he changed are tyres, clutch cable, brake pads, engine oil etc. No major issue happened to that rc200.
Certainly not. The CBR is way more refined. The RC engine is rough and unrefined. How do you say that the technology is more advanced in the RC 200 ( i am not talking about the 390)
Jaison Menezes it will come registered in the name of some persons related to dealership Then if u pay net cash meabs name transfer will be done Or else after due payment name transfer can be done

Best video ever cbr 250😍😍
Best bike in every aspect .. for a entry level rider .. he cant ask more then this !! It kills duke 200 in top speed .. and my best in cbr250r is around 168 ..
proud owner of cbr250r.. really a fantastic machine
One can only hope that Honda will bring CBR 250 R back

I'm a cbr 150r rider owning from more than 3 years ..I love my bike ...had done 126 kmph with a pillion ...0-100 goes in seconds while braking is not just awesome but one of the best in the segment
R15 v3 is better
My cbr does 0-100 in 7 sec max i have done around 20k kms also my 1st gear pulls till 55kmph n i have achieved the top speed of 168kmph
Aap ta 250 kya 2 cylinder wala bikrlr hai😅🤣😂
I am owing this bike since January 2013.This is a sport tourer category bike. I love this bike.
It has an engine the reliability of which is legendary. Also, awesome build quality. I think I would still consider buying it even if it is a little dated.
Best motrcycle since 2011..........none can beat dis..........proud to be Cbr250 ownr...........nvr looks old nd has gud prsnce on road......☺☺
best review ever, really enjoyed the communication, can relate to it.
Great - you are leading me to buy CBR 250 then
@7:20 That Honda City smoked you
He was just racing the Pulsar 😄
decade old Honda CBR250R beats all single cyl bikes in India at present except for KTM 390/ Apache RR310/ BMW G310RR.
2.54 go slow warning and u bro just gave it the beans there😂
My dream bike as a beginner 😍
Honda is Honda Waley ayengy Abhi😂😂😂
Aagaya mai
Honda hai
No doubt Duke maybe ruling this segment, but this was the bike which started it all!
Bro this bike runs only 4k km in 6years I can't believe it🙄...I think the odometer is new...I don't think this bike runs only 4k km,it's sound is not like a proper cbr250r,I also have cbr250r...my bike is so silent& climbs up speed very smoothly...I can easily touch 150kmph without reving to hard...man your friends bike have serious issues.,..also that gear shift sound is so annoying... Cbr250r gear box is butter smooth...mine bike is 38k km run...its in mint condition.... I do proper maintenance...also I love my bike
Anand Hey, I own a dominar and it vibrates like hell at 4k rpm itself! How about this bike? Is it smooth?
@@rerar7 yep it is soo smooth till 9k rpm after that it vibrates a little but not a lot
My bike ran 4k in 3.5 years and I almost never use the bike. That owner must be a shut in 😂
I am a huge fan of CBR ... Ek baar srf ride mil jayega to b bohott h mere liye.. 7 years se wait kr rha hu CBR ka.. still dreaming about CBR
Old is gold✌️✌️✌️😁
67k km modded with a full HRC system, K&N air filter and a Aracer RCMINI 5 .Still runs great,
bro....please drive the icon ....MUSTANG...... I want to see giving it the beans.....
I have a cbr250r 2014 single channel abs, bought for 30K, now this is the deal of the millennium 😂😁😁
Fantastic machine.i own a repsol edition 😍😍.clocked 12k in one yrr.its an all-rounder machine.as always Honda is Honda😍😍.cbr250r rocks in every aspect.
I bought a cbr250r abs version for 52k... yes 52k.. odo is 23k. Bike is in excellent condition & I m surprised by the performance & comfort this bike offers😎. And the fun part is, its giving me 40 kmpl mileage even in city with bmc air filter 🥳
How is that possible
My brother used to have this bike 2 years ago n I absolutely loved it.
It was comfy, smooth AF and a pleasure to ride n suprisingly good at offroading although I recommend don't try it😅
True review... Honda is planning activa new models in india.. 250rr still a dream..
Faisal khan,this 250r pulls upto 170kmpr ,man cbr 150r is capable to touch 150kmpr mark,why not this 26bhp 250r 🤔
Uttkarsh Prasad true bro. I did 147kmph on my cbr150r and my cousion did 171 on his 250r. These Babybaldes are more capable than what they seems like
Vivek Batra true bro,cbr siblings r very capable machines, donno why honda discontinued thse ,they might come back soon btw, cheers!
Yeah. I'll be heading auti expo 2018, lets just cross the fingures for new generation cbr kids. I wish one more time practicality meets the sportiness
SamMoto147 Vlog that d bike u will always feel fun to drive, congratulations in advance thou
Vtec kicked in yo..🤘🤓
This bike is "SUPREMELY" Awesome!!!
When you accelerated at 1:99 I felt like adrenalin is rushing in my blood..
1:99 doesnt exist 🤣🤣🤣

faisal bhai is it better than fz 250(rite now i own one)but i want to upgrade to cbr abs is it a worthy upgrade.
My like is for the video not the bike ... Honda is playing tricks by selling the old gen bike still now ...
Proud owner of 2017 model... Honda means refinement and handling. ♥
2:52 What a Place to Launch...Road Sign...Says "GO SLOW" .... LOL
Your reviews are very good and your driving is awesome...
honda's territory.................honda cbr250r...............honda is honda
That city just flown away...... Fantastic..
If Honda reduce the price of cbr250 definitely they can sell more units.
steevan varghese still its cheaper than Rc 200
Yesh Recruiter we can't compare CBR 250 with RC 200. Both machine has different DNA. RC200 is track bike while CBR is like sports touter. RC 200 engine and technology is more refined and advanced.
Good to hear Rc 200 engine is refined for the first time. I ve seen an Rc 200 with engine work at 16k kms n u call it as refined
How do you say that the technology is more advanced in the RC 200 ( i am not talking about the 390)
Became a fan of your bike reviews man.. please be safe. Tc
I remembered Delhi bikerboi
Yes Dhanil's bike looks like Abhimanyu's because of the windscreen wrap
3:37
Bajaj only uses LED indicators on the RS and not the NS
I hv CBR 250R REPSOL EDITION.
Sharique Anjum my family 😘
Repsol yo.. me too.. 🙌🏿
Honda city 🔥vs Honda cbr 🤐 Nice work bro. Keep on bringing more interesting videos.
Still i love this bike
Your review videos are as good as always
Oh man that city though 😍😍
Even if you buy it now there are registration issues for bs3 motorcycles right?
Jaison Menezes it will come registered in the name of some persons related to dealership
Then if u pay net cash meabs name transfer will be done
Or else after due payment name transfer can be done
Jaison Menezes bs4 launched now
CBrrrrrrr 😍 ..except the service centres.. Mis shifts are there in gear change.. can cruise steady at 140kmph.. no engine heating
Honda International = Really good
Honda India = Shit
Loved this bike , had ridden it few times ...
