Sir the thing what most of the new Restoration Video Maker doesnt understand: we love the videos because of the natural sound. So STOP putting music on it! Thank you
Ok, thanks
Damn right brotha
It's quit annoying.
Yeah…. Stopped this vid once I realized there was music.
Make the video how ever you like. Music no music do what YOU want. There are 100s of restoration videos these clowns don't have to watch yours.
That's a pretty paperweight you've made there. Restoration would imply that you could put the tool back to work. Your "wedge" isn't wedging anything. The grain run out, while pretty, will cause the handle to fail under any rigorous use. It would be a race to see if the hammer head flew off or the handle broke first.
Hey man, I genuinely learned something new and useful here! I looked up “grain run” per your comment btw.
I agree that someone doing this level of “restoration” should go the extra bit to make it functional, showpiece or not.
@@macrous2120 That's not even a case of "going the extra bit". The dude has literally no clue what he's doing...
Wedging a handle properly is way less work than this shit. But he said it right, I guess. Nice paperweight.
The finished hammer looks great. The wood is awesome. Love the handle.
Nice shiny hammer head..gorgeous handle..awesome job, bro...👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
Congratulations - you have restored the hammer so perfecetly that it's too beautiful to use. :|
Came out awesome as a wall hanger! Unfortunately not a useful tool, the hammer is imbalanced needs an additional 2Cm. of steel added to the face, and the brass plate addition to the handle will fly off if used vigorously for some time, there is no glue that will withstand the vibration. Looks good though! Additionally when filing stroke in one direction only, pulling back your file with pressure only dulls the file.
So love with mirror finished, nice
Thank you
Really brought that hammer back to life
Thanks
Impressive malviya sahab
Thanks👍
Much respect to the process of restoring this tool. Direct and to the point. Grind off the rust and reshape the metal. No time wasted soaking, sandblasting, wire brush scrubbing, etc… A craftsman that optimizes his time.💯
Thank You So Much
Just awesome. Beautiful job! Thanks
Love the mirror finishes. 😉
Thank you so much

Thanks
Very nice restoration. That is a blacksmiths top fuller, which is why the face was so mushroomed and also why it weighed so little.
Thanks
Isn't that too light for a blacksmith's hammer?
@@ITBR_Restoration not necessarily. A hammer is sized according to the size and type of material being worked usually. So, for working small material it wouldn’t be too light. That said, I’m almost 100% positive that this was a top fuller.
@@whilomforge3402 Thanks 👍
@@ITBR_Restorationit’s a fuller, not a hammer so it doesn’t matter the weight
Great job!
Incredibly beautiful
Shiny like a diamond impressive!!!
Thanks
I dig the music just fine. I watch in appreciation of your skills. And you got skills bro!
Exceptional! Please remove the background music👍
Ok sure next video
Outstanding craftsmanship
Thanks
You have restored that in such a beautiful & shining way that it is too sexy to use for daily use. It has now become a museum piece for displaying.
Thank you🙏
What boring ass crappy museums are you going to? Dude wasted his time, put a new handle on it and use it.
Wow! What a beautiful restoration!!😃👍 Very nice detail on the bottom of the handle!
What wood did you use for the handle?
nice job. like the hammer awesome.
Thank you 😊
Какой красивый огрызок молотка!
Thats awesome friend... I'd say any day, the restoration is better than new..
Thanks for understand restoration, I am happy.
Amazing and inspiring! I’d like to do the same thing with with my Grandfather’s old tools. Would you mind sharing what brand of bench grinder you’re using? Looks sweet!

FICOU BELISSIMO,
@@benjaminsisko502 endosso tuas palavras , 👍
Is there a reason for waiting until assembled to do the finishing coat on the handle? I would think that be done prior to assembly (so all the wood is coated), then just do the top little bit after cutting the wedge top off.
Thanks for comment
Ironically I’ve never thought about doing that myself. I’ve made a few of my own smaller 8oz rip hammer and ball peen hammer with stubby hickory handles, I use them in my trade for small cable clips or tapcon/concrete anchor inserts. I always waited till the end of the build to coat the handle in a few layers of Butcher Block Oil. But don’t the whole piece prior to putting the hammer head on wouldn’t hurt I don’t think?
Would be a nigthmare to hit anithing with that hummer, the handle it's not squared with the hummer.
Now that is a work of art
Thanks
Großartige Arbeit.❗👍 👏 🤝
Den hätte ich auch gerne.❗🤔 😳 😥
Freundlichst Willi . . . 🙋♂️
Rất hay 😄👍
Thanks
What is the name and brand of thar grinding stone ?
What a transformation! I could do without the music though. Just the sound of the tools at work would be better, in my opinion.
Amazing job congratulations
Thank you so much
Parabéns pelo capricho!
Thanks
Awesome resto. I'm astouded you got that shine out of 320 grit. That copper butt plate is an amazing finishing touch!
Thanks

Wow !!! That is awesome. I would give every bit of a $10 dollar bill for that...
Awesome work! I’ll take 3 of them. LOL!!
Thanks
What wood is it?
Impressive Restoration, Liked and Subscribed! 👍
Love to have this in my tool box.
Excelente !
Thanks
Would be a shame to use it😀 got a few of my own to restore, nice motivation👍
So beutiful
1st nice job, 2nd why didnt you reharden and temper the hammer head.....its soft you can tell because it mushroomed over really bad and all that work will be for nothing if its not hardened...3rd i love that wood you used, what was it?
Only Traditional Collection
What, if anything, did you do to the metal part of the hammer to keep it from rusting, etc.? Thanks!
Wow great job luv it .
Thank you very much

Tại sao bạn không nung nóng đỏ rực, sau đó tôi vào dầu sẻ làm đầu búa bền bỉ hơn. Thật sự rất thất vọng😢
Very nice indeed. ATB
Thank you kindly
I much prefer restoration videos like this where the item is actually “restored” and not modified, made cooler, or completely repurposed from it’s origin.
How to make the hammee get no rust again?
We should do Hardchrom on the hammer.
Old to gold 🏆
Thanks🙏
Looks great, well done.😊
Найкраще відео із всіх 🇺🇦
Thanks
Can I have that hammer 🤩
Freaking pristine!
😲
What’s with the 80’s romance build up music in the background?
New combination
Perfection. Any idea how many hours went in to restoring the hammer??
2 Hours
Two hours??? This is a very good time! I need two days for this.😁😁😁
Nice job , but when you weighed the hammer, I thought you were going to weld on a piece that would have brought the hammer back up to it's original weight of 561 kgs.
Wow, a rusty hammer came to you in a bubble wrap 😳
🙂🙂
@@mrrestoration keep up the good work , brother 👍
👍👍👍
Grandioso muito bem feito, fiz um vídeo muito parecido no meu canal!
Thanks
A restoration would be to bring an old hammer into its original condition. You took an old hammer and made a new hammer.
👍🤜🤛😀
🙏
Vai procurar o que fazer.
How pretty. Useless but pretty.
when I first looked at the old hammer I thought it was a ham hock.
🔨☺️
now the sickle
no music please
👍
✌
Why did you flatten the cross peen on the hammer? It should be rounded off not flat.
Learn to use a jeweler's saw to cut that copper with better precision so you don't have to file so much causing waste.
