This restoration was too difficult because there was so much mud on it and there was a lot of rust under the mud It had iron wires on top of its handle because the handle was broken Now we had to restore the handle as well or make a new handle Now to restore it, we first remove the rust it and polished it well. Hammer shining like glass And also created a new unique handle Now it is useable now and much better than before

The best thing to do after dumping concrete on the tool is to hit the string hard with a sharp tool. Nothing says "I pulled this relic from the bottom of ocean" like careful twanging of textiles with a sharp tool!

Nice job cleaning up the hammer. I will admit. I'm not a big fan of the texture patterns. You put on the hammer head and handle. A nice simple design and some either hot or cold blueing. I think would have put this one over the top.

Good job but the handle is too long, this is actually not an axe but a masons hammer. Masons use it to tap the bricks with it on the mortar and also split bricks, the usual length is 12 to 14 inches, but nevertheless good j.
