Perfection! I love both 100% and 85%. You did awesome!!! Thanks for sharing with us all!
Just bought the pattern, plan to make the reduced size, thank you for the video. Would love to see how to add a divider, looks like the perfect bag for that.
I love your patterns and your videos!! Thanks for sharing your talent!!!
Beautiful colors did a wonderful job
Your color choices are so elegant! This is a great pattern at 110%, 100%, 85%, or 70%. Well done!
Beautiful.
Thank you!
It’s cute, I like the 85% it’s the perfect size. Thanks for the video
I sew slowly too! I like that you sew slow. Better for tutorials ❤
You can use a heavy-duty domestic machine like a brother heavy duty machine it can handle up to 4 to 5 layers of leather or vinyl depending upon the thickness or the item.
I had problems with my neck and shoulders also but I lifted all my tables, cutting and sewing and I haven’t had any issues since then.
I haven't really tried adjusting anything yet, so I really should do that.
I would like the tutorial on Center pocket.
This awesome bag is just my size ❤ Will there be acrylic pattern templates?
Yes! That Template shop is going to carry them at regular size and 85%! I need to check with them to see when they will be listed!
Thank you for this vieo. I just completed the 100% bag. If I do not use seatbelt webbing would I cut the with of the straps and connectors the same width as the 100% pattern?
Yes!
Great video! Do you think it is possible to sew this weight of leather on Juki TL18?
I haven't ever used that machine, so I don't really have any input. There is a group on Facebook called Juki Junkies that might be helful!
You can remove the wheel cover exposing the joint so you can get oil there.
Thank you! I'm going to check that out!
Did you ever get that wheel checked out?
Do you taper the side seam of the lining as you sew up the sides for a smaller fit inside the bag?
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I think usually if I use thicker interfacing like foam, then I will be more likely to increase the seam allowance.
Hi - this is the first time ive made a reduced size pattern (scary). I'm not going to use webbing so would my Handle Connectors be the same as the 100% size (2"x11.5") or should i do as (1.5" x 10.25") Thank you
I would make them 2" x 10.25"
Hi Jen. What mm/oz was your leather? Thank you! Just picked up the Apothecary, Heckles and Duncan 😊. So much more I want to get 😂
I just looked up the listing from when I bought it and it was .80 mm
@@SincerelyJenPatterns thank you!
How long and what temperature do you use to fuse the Decovil to the leather.
I put it in my heat press for 10 mins. I think it is set to 285°F
My lining top isnt long enough as it was 85% according to list ?
I think ive printed wrong
What are the finished dimensions of the 85% bag?
It's about 9.5" High x 13" Wide x 3.5" Deep
I’m trying to write all the measurements down on my pattern for the 85%. You mention handle connectors in the video as 9.75., but in the description box it says 10.25. Does the difference of .5” matter? I’m terrible at math, I should add. Sorry😂
Once I finished the bag, I decided they would be better if they were half an inch longer. That's why I listed them at 10.25". So definitely use that measurement!
