      No. With a good ZigBee mesh you can connect many devices. Router devices like lights or plugs expand the number of end devices as well.

      Hi, I would need more details about your setup. Most Zigbee sensors report. They cant be queried as they don't post the information back on request (most not all) so to query information from the sensor via NodeRED you have to save it. This way when you ask for a temperature, Alexa/GoogleHome checks your automation server for the last known update and reports back.
      Foir Alexa I use Alexa nodered skill and for Google Assistant I use Nora for node red
      Hope this helps

    • @notenoughtech
      @notenoughtech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can write the logic for this with NodeRED but it will be down to the poll rate of the sensor. If you need something else, you can experiment with light probes across the doorframe to count the in/out movements

    How can I integrate zigbee devices connected to the Sonoff bridge that are not made by Sonoff with Alexa? Currently, the discovery and adoption process into the Zigbee hub is quick and effortless. Unfortunately, Alexa and Google assistant do not see these zigbee devices.

    Thank you for the video. I am trying to decide from RF Bridge or ZigBee Bridge. My use case is external 433 window shutters and motion sensors(mainly from PNI but not exclusively); trying to set up a smart alarm system. Think i can use any of these 2 and which is better for my case. I have a RM4 pro but am disappointed with the range- cannot controll shutters from more than 7 meters away and it does not support motion and window/magnetic sensors.

    • @notenoughtech
