    Chess brings people together, I am an American and was traveling through budapest, I sat down to play an old man in the park for a few hours, after the game he gave me a tour of the city, teaching me how to get around on the trolly, took me to his favorite pub, and now we are friends, I go visit him almost every year. I love these awesome chess encounters!

      @@inmyopinion302 WFM is a title won by competing in women's only tournament. There is generic chess tournament (open for both men and women) and women only chess tournament. There is no men only tournament. It has nothing to do with misogeny. Since way more men are interested in chess it may be pretty tough mentally for women to get into sport with so many men. Women's chess community is tiny. It's nice to have chess tournaments just for women to promote chess among them.

Only works as promotion for women until they learn what these titles are really about, and if you wanna see the best players, male or female, you have to look at those that have the grown-up titles without the W on them.       I've never played chess seriously. I know all the rules. I understand tactics. I only know one opening. I don't know any endgames. I never got out of the beginner stage, but I think I could.
      It sure would be fun to play against Anna, or Andrea Botez, or Alex Botez, and have them recognize you as a beginner or weak player, and help you through it, coaching you like you are a little kid.

    It's ok to be really good at chess and not tell your opponent. That would end the game before it even begins, even if your opponent doesn't have a chance. Then you miss talking to each other, making new friends and just being kind to each other. This game was more about learning about each other than it was about chess.

    The thumbnails do the opponents no justice. The opponent was very humble and never stated something like "I always win" - unfortunately this is very misleading.

    Anna is sneaky. She talks all the time, which is a huge distraction. It shows that under the veneer of sociability lies a deeply competitive spirit. I think all chess players have that. Its not a sin, its an observation. Obviously we all love Anna otherwise why be on this channel. Having said that, the brunette lady was quite lovely. Friendly and good natured. Also quite pretty. It was fun to watch the game between these two ladies.

      But this is the amazing thing about chess is it brings people together from around the world. The rules are the same everywhere, and anyone can play it maybe after age 6 or 7.

    Most great players memorize hundreds of opening moves without having to think so they have an advantage by memorization into middle game - it’s why Bobby Fischer quit std games

    i was ok at chess.not great and maybe not good. but i suffered a head injury from an accident 35 years ago. i could no longer think ahead but 2 or 3 moves so i quit playing. but i can honestly say if i played you i would always win. not the game lol, but just spending time with someone so beautiful and charming i know i would be smiling and laughing and having so much fun losing to you that i would consider that winning. thank you for the smiles you put on my face just watching these vids. :)

    That was such a cute video. Anna was so nice, and those people really nice too. It looked like they were all having a good time. Just a really positive vibe overall. She has a very cute and friendly personality, and the other people did too. I honestly wish more people were like that. Anna didn't go easy on her, but I think she could have played more aggressively if she was trying to win as fast as she could knowing her opponents strength, but she treated it like any other game and was trying to have fun too, which is good. I really liked the video though.
