I TROLLED This Chess Hustler Into Thinking I Was A Beginner

  • In this video, I went to Union Square Park and tried to make my opponent think I was a beginner in chess. His name is Tyrone and is a super nice guy that loves teaching chess! This was all just in good fun, and my opponent took it really well when I told him my real strength.
A chess hustler is just someone that plays chess on the streets for money. Union Square Park is a famous chess hustling NYC park, where hustlers play visitors from all over the world.

This was all just in good fun! Tyrone was really nice and you should play him if you're ever in Union Square Park. Chess hustling typically just means playing street chess for small amounts of money. I told Tyrone after this game my true strength and he took it really well. Thanks for watching

I can count on my fingers the ones that can lower their ability to the point where it is not noticeable ie blundering pieces and making anti positional moves, so that when you win, it appears to be as a result of a genuine struggle and when you lose (when substantial money is wagered on the game) the game also is very competitive.
