Thanks dude! God it was impossible on those NS2R lol! Got a second set of wheels now with PS3 tyres for the rest of the winter season... even better they came with AR1s on them ready to rock next spring :)! Hopefully then see the actual potential this little beaut has!
Thanks Phil! It's just so engaging! No ABS, no TC, analogue as it gets! I adore that so many get to enjoy cars like the MR2 and MX5. It simply doesn't get better!
Ahh brill mate! Thanks! Makes more noise than it does speed that's for sure haha! Hope to see you at the next! I'm back there on the 14th December if you are about. Bought another set of wheels after this day for some Michi PS3 tyres to use in the wet haha! The NS2R were ruddy sketchy. Hard conditions on the day wasn't it!
@CIRCUITDRIVERCARS doesn't matter when it sounds that gorgeous 😍 I was also having grip issues on a fresh set of NS2R's, ended up winding back the dampers to almost softest to generate more lean / heat which seemed to help slightly. I'll see if I can nip down on the 14th. Be good to have a catch up. Changeable conditions are great, I learn so much more about myself and the car than I do on hot summer days.
@@MikeRaymond91 That's crazy... I did EXACTLY the same! Running the dampers a few clicks from full soft absolutley changed the limit and felt so, so much better. Fantastic! Hope to see you there bud :).
Absolutley something I will be testing mate and will let you know. Sadly it's just been such a battle to get the car running at all that I haven't had a chance to test it. I am sure it will be doing some good though :).
@@CIRCUITDRIVERCARS gotcha yeah i am on a me422 with and itb set from danst engineering but my block is stock. Wondering what could ne causing your issues. Are you leaning out?
@@diiaa366 Brill bet that's lovely! Dan helped me with a set of ATPower ITBs and an ME442 I had on an NC a few years back :). I've had a few issues but since relooming the whole engine bay with Brad at Mutant Engineering it's been solid. The main issue I had was it kept losing sync. I swapped crank and cam sensors for pattern parts but it didnt fix it so I then went down a rabbit hole changing Fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, coilpacks, battery... before replacing the pattern part items I had bought for the crank and cam sensors with genuine Mazda parts.... fixed it instantly and a lesson learned to not cheap out in the future... my fault lol!
Brilliant Will, love this!!!

Brilliant video, looks so fun in the wet
Thanks bud! It is so engaging!!
Loved this mate. Sounds absolutely epic! Very interesting what you said about driving the Porsche vs the MX5.

The sounds 😍
Proper reminds me of old school 4pot rally cars ahha!
That nasty noise
Smooth shitfings as well
Thanks bud! It’s an incredibly simple thing and incredibly rewarding to drive because of it!
Bollocks, i didnt realise it was you on the day otherwise id have come and said hello! I was in the blue mk2 mx5. This thing was wicked 👍👌

Thanks bud, revving to 8.5k in an mx5 feels magical haha!
What are the gear ratios like? Seems to be pulling well through 3rd.
Standard 5 speed with a 4.77fd mate. I'm excited to get a 6speed in there, the closer ratios should liven things up even more so.
Did the naca duct for the itb lower iat ?

@@CIRCUITDRIVERCARS what type of tuning source are you using alpha-n or map and tps?

Pardon?!
😂😂😂
I mean it usually isn't a joke when you say you have to remove/replace the turbo on an MX5 though!
It identifies as an s2000.
