Greenland is something really special for me. I dreamed about this place for years when I finally had a chance to go there in 2011 and stay for almost 6 months. I am looking forward to go back there since it stole my heart and made me genuinely miss the place. Also I am quiet lucky that I happened to be there just before smartphones became a part of our lives and seeking for answers most of the times meant to actually go outside and explore the outdoors rather than searching that online. I had a chance to experience the Eastern part of the island which is more remote than Western part of Greenland. Breathtaking landscapes everywhere. Thank you for this video.

On my mother's side I'm descended from Hans Egede's 2nd son, who founded a number of outposts on Greenland.
Which means I have extremely distant relatives in Southern Sjælland of Denmark, where the Oldest and the youngest sons of Hans Egede settled.
Yes, I still have my mother's maiden name as a middlename.
Greenlandic is like shaming your keyboard and making it mean something
Greenland is my Homeland, and it is a land of culture, nice people, snow, mountains and many other things
I thought you died
My younger self thought Greenland was too cold for people to survive, I taught myself a lesson now lol
I’m a big fan of all these arctic destinations. They are definitely the top. Cold mountains and tundra 👍🏼
I was letting this play in the background when I heard Barby's first words were 'And we are on our way to nuke Greenland'.
No word can describe how beautiful Greenland is. I went there last year in March and felt in love with the nature. So I do understand why it´s your number 1 destination. I definitely need to go back one day!

This and the Iceland video are some of the most uplifting videos I've ever seen. Thank you so much for this cheery content, especially during dark times. Keep the country videos coming and thanks so much for bringing us along on your travels. Much love from Utah
Greenlandic sounds like if Finnish and Welsh had a baby
joanignasi91 wonder, why its call greenland.. I only seee is white
tanjil choudhury I was talking about the language I sure wonder that too though I heard it used to be warmer when it was discovered maybe that's the reason or maybe they were trying to trick other vikings into going there
tanjil choudhury vikings mixed up the names from iceland and greenland
Byron Reza when they arrived in iceland it was icy
Greenland is basically the first ever use of clickbait 😂 because Erik the Red wanted to encourage the people back home to go to this "green" land to settle and colonize...
Ay Barbs this is awesome! I'm South Florida born and raised but went to Longyearbyen on Svalbard this past January/February. The larger communities of the high arctic are like nothing else and it has been my goal (and even more so now after watching this) to get out to Nuuk, Barrow, Iqaluit, and a whole bunch of others to really understand life in these places and capture their essence and what makes them so special. Thanks for the ongoing inspiration; its great to see someone else get so giddy over the tundralands! Maybe I'll catch ya out there one day!
looks beautiful😊
10:17 Qiimassutissarput Aajuna, I love it.
Lovely and beautiful song. Here's to Out Joy.
0:46 Imagine if airport security heard that. You got lucky.
The quality of this video does Barby's interest justice. Genuinely one of the best travel vlogs I've ever seen.
12:47 man you gotta work on your flirting skills :-p
You look nice! Hahahahaha. What did he actually mean there?
Graziano von Allmen I wouldn't want to flirt with her no offence
he said that they'll come outside
@@priscillajimenez27 I thought the same thing
Jd 24 Takes all sorts.
I'm so happy for you Barby! You've said in so many videos how much you wanted to go to Greenland, I'm really glad you had such a good time!
Greetings from Australia

“Let’s nuke this place up!”
I use these videos to help teach my kids (in home school) about all the different countries and I always learn something along with them! Thank you for your videos!
Iceland : am a green county
Greenland : am a icy ❄️ country
Me : this is why I have trust issues
Probably... if not for sure - the best video so far. Excellent job!
