Cheers my friend, quite a lot stand out for different reasons. South Africa will always be close to top of the list, but that's because I am biased. As a city I really enjoyed Tallinn - do check out my Estonia vlogs if you haven't already :)
Appreciate those kind words Nelson. I've learned that friendliness doesn't cost a thing and can get you far when travelling. Thanks for all your engagement!
I like watching travel videos. Particularily Nordic regions. Your videos are interesting. From an American who has never been out of his own country ever in 54 years.
Always nice to hear from you Nelson! Glad you enjoyed this. Any chance you'll get to visit Greenland one day? I forgot to mention to you that I did meet tourists from Manila in Greenland so it seems like a fascinating place for people from the Philippines :)
Cheers Nelson. It is such a tough question to answer as my experience was undoubtedly shaped by factors such as my state of mind, weather, people etc. Then of course there are elements such as architecture, natural beauty and others. Ultimately, I have to judge a place on how it made me feel when I was there. Sometimes you just connect with a place and sometimes you don't. I have to say that places such as Estonia, Poland, Italy, Greece, Japan, Philippines, Mongolia, Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as Iceland stand out, and in no particular order. Maybe I am biased but for me South Africa will always be number 1 overall :)
Greenlandic music? I'll have to search for that and have a listen. I hadn't thought of visiting Greenland. You have me interested. I did some reading in my new interest. I see what you meant about no roads outside of town and not to anywhere else on the island. I see that 1/4 of the population are immigrants (I would assume mostly Danish.) Did you hear any of the Kalaallisut Indigenous language? Do you know if it is still spoken by most or all of the indigenous population? Any polar bears to be seen there?
Thanks for watching and supporting my channel! Yes mostly Danish immigrants - that is my understanding too. I'm not sure if I heard any of the Kalaalllisut languages - certainly I've only spoken English with the locals but I might have heard some on the radio perhaps. There were no polar bears in Nuuk and I understand your chances of seeing some in the east of Greenland are better.
Hi Willie ... that is a really nice video ... like your "go around and meet people" style! Very pleasant, and fun! Nuuk is on my bucket list, but a few other places a bit higher ... like South Africa! Actually, a number of places in Africa where I have some former students (I taught at UArizona). Safe travels, Willie ... Greetings from Tucson. [BTW, I have a "funny" connection to Drew Binsky ... he's a few countries ahead of you, but you're catching up!]
Hi Jim! Very nice to hear from you and thank you for your support! Absolutely happy to give some travel tips re Greenland and South Africa if you need them - between myself and Drew (an inspiration to us all) you will be well covered in that regard! I haven't been to Tucson yet but, like everywhere, it is on the list :)
Thank you for the good information about Nuuk. I'm planning to travel to Nuuk on 27th of July. Btw, do they have flights to Faroe Islands from Ilulisaat?
Glad you enjoyed the video about Nuuk! It is definitely worth visiting and hope you make good memories on your trip. I don't know about any flights to / from Faroe Islands unfortunately. Safe travels!

Probably not,
Everything is so expensive there
I do give my verdict towards the end of the video...I'll just leave it at that! Thanks for watching :)
Say no road but got road
Between the cities.
The red ⛪️’s name is NOT Hans Egede.. 😏
The red and yellow one
The hans Egede church is actually the one you’ve passed a lot of times in your videos, right on top of the yellow pup
