Why is it that people of European descent, who colonized so much of the world, thought it was ok to commit genocide against the original inhabitants of the land? It happened all over North America, Australia, India, so many places. Almost all the people who did this would have considered themselves "good Christians", and yet, they committed the most unChrist-like atrocities against their fellow humans. The physical and emotional pain these women endured deserves a reckoning.

I ask myself the same question, this might seem a bit racist but it might be because white ppl have most neanderthal DNA compared to other races. This is why I think they are more genocidal etc.

As usual there will be public inquiries, investigations and outcries, it is a show, no one would be held to account. Malfeasance and criminalities in high office is rampant across the west, why? It is extremely profitable with zero punishment. Worst case if found out, politicians / bureaucrats simply say sorry and retire with "book deals" and start working for some mega corporations.

En ægte undskyldning er kun på plads, og alt andet som følger med. Begår man overgreb så må man tage konsekvenserne. Jeg som Dansker er på ingen måde for stor til at sige undskyld og jeg beklager virkelig alt det som mit land har begået :-(

Colonialization in Danish colonies, is where Danes see themselves as role models, better than the colonized with a perceived inferior culture.
People who are convicted by Danish courts in the colonies, they are often deported to Denmark to serve their sentences, convicted deported people lose contact with their parents, their sweetheart and friends and they serve out the Danish court's sentence in a foreign culture where they have to assimilate.
    It results in trauma.
The detained deportees often don’t feel at home anywhere afterwards.
Being seen as inferior, punished more than Danes, being seen as primitive and therefore not worthy of equal treatment sets in as traumas, inherited traumas that pass from generation to generation.
    Yours sincerely
    Philip B. Johnson

What kind of ludicrous bullshit is that to write?
Yes, prisoners will often serve time in prisons located in Denmark - because that's where the prisons are. The Danish Kingdom in general has issues with not having enough room for prisoners, so naturally they tend to be sent to the prisons that have room which may be further away. These are not super far away - it's a 1-2 hour flight between the countries ("The Colonies" LOL), and is usually a result of lack of local capability.
If you're getting sent to prison, it's also not a light sentence. It means you've done some pretty fucked up shit, especially if its for several years. Then we're talking rape, murder, violent assault, mass fraud, those kinds of things. So I don't have a shitton of sympathy.
When Denmark originally colonized Greenland, it was a country where widows were walked out onto the ice to go die - because who needs a single used woman, right? Man, yeah, I see how Denmark was just absolute barbarians compared to them at that point, totally.
To this day, they have massive problems with child abuse, physical as well as sexual, incest, youth suicide, alcoholism and drug abuse, and in no way have a self-sustaining economy.
Each year, for many decades, Denmark sends roughly 12,000USD to Greenland for each of their citizens. That's on top of all other services we provide for free, such as access to free healthcare, free education, democracy (including representation in the Danish parliament). We've sent doctors, teachers, built up infrastructure, airports, docks.
Not to mention that they are freely allowed to vote themselves out at any point, and have had that ability, again, for many decades (but they always choose not to).
"Being seen as inferior, punished more than Danes, being seen as primitive and therefore not worthy of equal treatment sets in as traumas, inherited traumas that pass from generation to generation."
What the actual fuck kind of horseshit is that? In what toilet trash can did you stick your hand into, to pull out such a ridicules statement?
      Sincerely,
Who The Fuck Signs Their TH-cam Comments

This kind of violation of children is still happening only to boys and on a far greater scale. Alone in Kenya 10,000s of boys have experienced being taken from school to foreign doctors who, as in the case of the girls in Greenland, have their geni.. deliberately injured robbing them of their full potential, only in their case permanently. A whole third of the world's men have had this ritual performed on them without their consent and every single government in the world condones it. Chances are that most commentators here have supported this through their taxes and the BBC supports the propaganda perpetuating it.
Naja said "we have a right to our bodies" but why only girls and not boys too? Her classmate's father said "you should never violate children that way", he's right but sadly no state lives up to its basic duty to protect all of its most vulnerable citizens from having the most intimate parts of their bodies violated.
Naja ends by saying "...they should never cross our boundaries that the heart should play a role in political decisions". Only a couple of years ago the Prime minister, Mette Frederiksen shattered this hope when she, together with the other leaders of the present government, rejected a people's petition to extend the legal protection girls enjoy to all children. Mette Frederiksen is now in Greenland meeting Naja and many of the other women and has accepted that they are victims of a past crime all the while she presides over a government turning her back on the present day crime in the same category.

Such an odd unknown story. The question is why were these young girls subjected to such an invasion of personal privacy.

    • @fritnat
      @fritnat ปีที่แล้ว

The reason was to bring the birthrate down faced with a massive population explosion the result of modern health care and welfare being provided when Greenland became an equal part of the Kingdom of Denmark. Prior to this time maternal and infant mortality were very high putting a natural limitation on population growth. Native artic peoples like the Greenlanders traditionally practiced both infanticide and senicide, the latter being better known. An exploding population in Greenland would have drained the Danish treasury when large sums were already being invested in modernisation and an enlarged population was not viable with the limited resources in the artic region.
Note that "the invasion of personal privacy" when it comes to boys is to this day condoned worldwide supported by cultural attitudes spread not least by the BBC! Since this basic violation of human rights - the right to one's own body as here, is a violation globally condoned, no one is free to point the finger at others.

There had to be other ways to control such unimaginably large families as an average of 7 where people were relying so much on outside funds for housing etc. I see such behaviors in Nunavut Canada...people not married, employed or even educated to be relevant in today's world having babies. Then complaining non stop tht their mostly all social housing is too small, too crowded. But no one has self control to ensure that they are capable of raising their own children from their own abilities to give the best of everything now considered normal to their kids. These terrible decisions & choices of irresponsibility should not however allow people's bodies to be invaded without consent unless both men & women are equally held responsible. So, how many men were sterilized at the same time? WHEN will men be held responsible for all sperm they spill? Why do women always have to carry the burden of societies needs and standards?
